Thanks for making this. It gave me the confidence to do it myself. I did both sides how you did the driver's side: with a 17mm spanner and a 13mm socket, to simply swing the caliper upwards. Incidentally, I believe the brake wear sensor wire is supposed to route on the outside, via the brake bleed valve. (The rubber cover on the bleed valve folds over the brake sensor wire to fix it. If you have a look at the video "Front brake pads and discs replacement BMW i3" by "Check Engine plus minus", you can see this - fleetingly - at 1m 44s.) For the benefit of others, I was able to reset the warning as follows: 1) Turn on car on flat ground, with foot off brake. 2) Parking brake must be off, or this won't work (lots of people stumble on this point.) 3) Hold the instrument cluster button in for about 10 seconds and reset the warning. (Short presses to scroll through choices, long presses to select/confirm.)
I am not a great believer in H&S, as it caused a great deal of annoyance at work, but with that flimsy jack on a gravel hardstanding, I'd have some safety in place to prevent it from trapping that leg if it came off the jack or even the jack collapsing. Just a thought. Best Dave
Cheers Dave, yep I'm often forgetting to use axle stands, really bad practice although I have now upgraded my jack so that's a step in the right direction.
It's 1 pedal car, means the brake pedal is only for emergency stops, looking at your pads and rotors condition... you need to learn how to drive the i3 without the brake pedal.

Hi, I found the car a little less stable at higher speeds, these are 15mm all round and I am much happier with the handling now.
After charge me pedal.. Down more than normar any help
I can only suggest that the system needs bleeding, sorry I can't be more helpful
