I stumbled upon this channel 2 weeks ago randomly on my youtube home page for one of your MHA reactions, and it was so entertaining I went back to the beginning. I have no idea why the animators decided to randomly spend their entire budget on incredible Iida moments, but honestly good for them. Iida definitely deserved that for his amazing fight.
While I was totally rooting for Shoto for what I hope are obvious reasons, I gotta say, mad respect to Tetsutetsu for also making his power his own. In a weird way it’s kinda poetic for them to have had a fight. They’re both using their quirks in their own ways.
Now that Shoto brought Tetsutetsu to his Heat limits and near his cold limits, perhaps Tetsutetsu will start focusing on his Flash training, as in exposing himself to super high then super low temps again and again to increase the density and power of his Iron skin. Todoroki would make a fantastic training partner for him, actually
@@HaydrogenBomb the MHA cast have crazy durability so it’s not like a plot hole or anything. Like anyone who Iida kicks should lose body parts. Anyone who deku punches or Bakugo explodes lmao
@natsuotodoroki "serious question" If o could say that but i've seen you comment on a lot of MHA reactions and in regards of shoto and the todoroki family you talk like If you realyy was Matsuo. So do you like natsuo and say your opinions or you impersonate natsuo?
I'm glad you noticed the Southern speak! How they did Pony's English voice work seems to be that they have her speak all high pitched in "Japanese" while speaking a more normal country accent in "English". It's hit or miss, but I like the effort put into making something unique for the dub, at least.
This has gotta be my favorite match of the arc. Its so dynamic, with pretty much everyone on either team having clutch moments. Probably why it ended in a draw.
mud man is a personal favourite and he is definitely the class b mvp, he is also one who got in through recommendations like todoroki and creati, and it shows considering how tactical he is.
While Shoto might be reluctant to accept Endeavor's invitations to train with him, for good reason, the events of this episode show that he's kind of forced to work and train with him. He'll never reach the full potential or even great control of his fire quirk if he works on it alone. For all of Endeavor's faults as a father and person, he honed his quirk to basically perfection, which is why he's currently number one. If Shoto wants to improve, training with Endeavor would be the right move, even though it would definitely be uncomfortable for Shoto for obvious reasons.
This has to be the most underrated fight in the entire series. It was so intense from start to finish, with twists everywhere! Also.......next episode!!!! It's gonna be legendary!!!!!!! Letts go Early Bird!!!!!!!
Class B Balanced Team Juzo Honenuki Hero Name: Mudman Quirk: Softening Grade: A Hero Class: Symbol (All 4 classes) This is a power recommendations student for a reason. This is my vote for the most powerful person in Class B. He effortlessly shows his capabilities in all 4 classes. He can easily do rescue and containment moves at the same time, and he’s a solid detective knowing who will likely need help. Everything he does is hard to counter and has a WIDE range of effects he can use. He can take an Iida kick to the HEAD, he has a method of movement pretty much only his EXACT quirk can prevent without using a CONSIDERABLE amount of power, and his stamina is legit. And why do I say he can destroy a city? At his absolute WEAKEST he can effect a 10 story tower. A FULL tower. That’s such a gigantic surface you can only imagine what he can sink at maximum potential. He can do almost everything Mirio can without many of the drawbacks except he can’t make himself immune to damage. And this is DEFINITELY a quirk that can be reverse engineered into making things more sturdy too. (I think we’ve seen someone from the provisional license exam do the reverse of his quirk) And he already has a GREAT deal of nuance control picking and choosing various connecting surfaces what to effect. He DOES need more speed even with his ability to react to some of Todoroki’s and Iida’s moves. (He more likely got away from Iida because Iida missed less he reacted at the perfect timing at the beginning) I don’t think much equipment will do him much good without being able to reverse engineer his quirk. He probably needs some kind of echolocation and some kind of way to see things while he’s beneath the surface though. In time I think he can make solids turn to liquids, and who knows what he can take it further. He’s the ultimate ground based opponent. Cool little detail I found is his apparatus for breathing underground. He probably prioritized getting himself oxygen against those that rob you of that like sayyyy, Mustard from the camp attack who gassed him out. He also was one of the few that went all out against Class A in the obstacle race and performed highly, he also willingly gave up his potential spot on the bracket of the sports festival to either Tetsu or Shiozaki who are both SIGNIFICANTLY less flexible than he is. Even though he could’ve possibly been a top player on the bracket. (I think Tetsu’s team lost the cavalry because they all got brainwashed by Shinso in the last 10 seconds) Sen Kaibara Hero Name: Spiral Quirk: Gyrate Grade: D Hero Class: Combat So we didn’t get to see him do MUCH, but having rotating limbs to make drills out of yourself is actually quite decent. It will come down to equipment for how destructive he gets. Not…that I’m saying the Tasmanian Devil from the Looney Toons isn’t destructive. Because that’s essentially what he is. He gets to use vibrations and use pressure points to really keep his opponents off kilter and twisting his body on someone could even cause severe bone damage or really twist up someone’s insides. But REALLY big moves he’s going to need to get his hands on ACTUAL large drills he can power himself. I’m sure he can take a page from Honenuki if he uses drilling underground as his main source of movement. But he doesn’t seem to be all that interested or capable of showing off other classes of hero. He can use holes he digs for rescue and pit traps for villains but he hasn’t shown himself capable of being a big digger yet. And it’s hard to mark someone as a building destroyer when they HAVE to have gear to do so. Only thing I found of him in earlier arcs was being one of Monoma’s horses in the cavalry battle. Maybe he was Monoma’s method of going against Todoroki’s ice when things got closer to the ending if he was forced to face him. Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu Hero Name: Real Steel Quirk: Steel Grade: B Hero Class: Combat/Rescue Like Kirishima he’s such a solid destructive tanking bruiser he gets beyond building grade. He’s effortlessly toppling MANY buildings so he DEFINITELY earns the B grade. But these two have become VERY dissimilar. Tetsu can reforge himself into sturdier steel, and is training himself to be better in the elements. (And although Todoroki nearly killed him from hitting him point blank with what must be a Star level of fire and heat, he held on REALLY well.) Now you would THINK I’d say keep reforging and maybe might even get even denser metals on the table. However, the devil is in the details for him. He lost to Kirishima in the sports festival because he didn’t eat enough iron. That…is not steel. So his quirk either reforges elements in his own body and he can possibly become something not steel over time or the more fun possibility, based on what he consumes, he can be a different element. And that’s where this gets REALLY fun. Imagining the different elements he could become with a variety of different temperature resistances and properties that can completely change how he would fight in any given battle. For crying out loud the guy could be radioactive or even become liquid. (Mercury is liquid.) There is SO MUCH, and all he said was he didn’t have enough iron. And that just busts the gate WIDE OPEN. I don’t think he can ever be sturdier than Kirishima, but he CAN have a much wider arsenal. I know this is definitely one of the bigger stretches among them, but you are what you eat. As of now, he’s just a solid bruiser that needs better names for his moves. Someone else: Tremoring Earth! Tetsu: MY FIST! He and Kendo are essentially the actual main characters of Class B so I don’t see much need to cover his progress other than he’s completely over his Class A/Class B competition and is now just plain competitive. Pony Tsunotori Hero Name: Rocketti Quirk: Horn Cannon Grade: D Hero Class: Combat/Rescue/Containment Alright this American exchange student is a lil snot girl who body shames poor Shoji for his looks and then says she’ll throw him in prison where she won’t have to look at him like the octopus in the aquarium. Which…yikes. Horikoshi thinks highly of America. Noted. But onto her quirk. She’s a REALLY nuanced fighter. Rapid fire, skating on the air and flying around, spiral motions, and attacking in every direction. Using her horns to boost other people’s motions and while launching Ojiro, has the aim to rocket herself through a big steel pipe maze and perfect shots herself and Ojiro into prison BACKWARDS and WITHOUT LOOKING. It all comes down to how complex this gets depending on how many she controls. Based on how fast she goes NOW, I’m thinking if she gets to a dozen she might be able to get to a C grade. I don’t know how else to implement her honestly. I guess if she grows her horns out she could be better in melee and have a blunt object to fight with. Maybe she can hallow her horn out and use it as a horn to signal people. All I know is Shoji has her beat in versatility, power, and speed, but he can’t actively fly. I couldn’t find much of what she did prior to this arc other than her being on a team of two in the cavalry battle where she LITERALLY ran around on all 4’s being a simple long range/short range combo. She probably was one of those that held back during the cavalry battle too.
About what you said about Tetsutetsu: are you sure what kinds of metals he consumes is a factor in his Quirk? Is this something actually stated or implied in the series? Also, I don't know what you're saying about his move names. "My Fist" sounds just right to me! If anyone needs to rethink their moves, it's Ojiro. Love the guy, but "Swirling Tail Dance?" Really? 😬
@@HaydrogenBomb if you rewatch their arm wrestling match, Tetsu says his armor didn’t hold out because he didn’t eat enough iron this morning. Which he must forge into his body to make his steel armor. And that will either compile into something even sturdier than steel by the logic of this show, or he have other elements for different effects. And I just decided to explore the more fun one because it’s simply too much fun to think about him becoming gold, titanium, silver, uranium, mercury, and other possibilities. And yeah Ojiro might need to workshop his names like Tokoyami does. I just think Tetsu could use iron fist. Literally a comic book hero. Or armory punch or SOMETHING. But nope. My fist
@Kaempfdog Whoa whoa, glad we agree on Ojiro's attack names, but why'd you bring Tokoyami into this? "Black Abyss", "Sabbath", "Dark Fallen Angel"; all this names are FIRE. Just the right amount of dramatic and scary.
@@HaydrogenBomb it’s not the coolness of the name that’s in contention. They are VERY cool. It’s the point that they are mouthfuls. Which Midnight talked about with Tokoyami when he 1st started working on ultimate moves. Abyssal Black Body was workshopped. Piercing Twilight Claws was workshopped. Twirling Tale Dance and Fist of the Tail: Swamp Smack Spin need to be workshopped because they are mouthfuls just the same. And I’d agree Black Abyss and Sabbath ARE good names. But Black Abyss Sabbath all in ONE name is a mouthful…which is what the name is. And I think I pointed out in the 2nd Round how funny it was he called it Dark Fallen Angel when a Fallen Angel is LITERALLY what the devil is biblically and he wasn’t satisfied with how over the top THAT was already.
Gotta say, Tetsutetsu should have messed up Todoroki WAY more this episode. He punched him with his metal fist while it was RED HOT. That should hurt like HECK!
Todoroki has incredibly high resistance to heat, so the red hot punch shouldn't be much worse than a normal punch. On the other hand, he was being beaten by a steel fist, and that should have messed him up more.
@@HaydrogenBomb Somewhat. The brief contact of a punch probably wouldn't be too bad, but when Tetsutetsu grabbed his arm, that probably was worse as far as the heat went.
I really love iida and honenuki's approach in this match. Pretty much everyone else across the 3 matches focused on either fighting a 1 on 1 brawl against an opponent or some kind of group attack. But those two kept zipping around the battlefield assisting all of their teammates and making sure they were wherever they could make the most impact, the only other one who did something similar was momo but not to the same degree. Shows a very broad view of the battlefield and a flexible style. Really fun match to watch and probably my favourite in this little training arc
totally unrelated, but I feel like you guys would appreciate the fact that- the voice actor who plays Hawks, also happens to play Hunter from The Owl House ! I just think it’s cool since they’re both blonde characters with a red bird theme!!
When Izuku and Uraraka are talking about Iida after the match, instead of focusing on his failure to win the fight, Izuku flashed back to the moment the building fell on Iida. In that moment, Iida was still fighting to save and tossed Todoroki out of the way of the building's collapse range. Izuku realized that Iida was proving himself a worthy successor to Ingenium, because despite knowing that he wasn't going to make it in time, he still made sure he was able to save the person he was trying to protect.
(At 7:59) I be more worried if the heat made his body glow white instead of red. White fire are the second hottest flames, after Blue fire. Orange flames range from around 1100°C to 1200°C. White flames are hotter, measuring 1300°C to about 1500°C. Blue flames are at the highest, measuring 1,400 to about 1,600 degrees C.
Metal doesn’t usually crack when you cool it down rapidly, you’re thinking of ceramics @Montana. Metals like steel actually get significantly harder when you heat them up and cool them rapidly. That’s why when they forge swords, they quench them. however, if done improperly the metal can crack, so you’re not really wrong per se.
Class A Offense Team Tenya Iida Hero Name: Ingenium Quirk: Engine Grade: S (story demands it) Hero Class: Rescue/Combat/Detective (borderline symbol class 1 move or equipment piece shy) We have our 1st S-tier, and as I mentioned before, you know who every single one of them are. It’s basically main character status. And BOY did Iida catapult himself with 1 power up. A 10 minute time limit to reach Gran Torino’s max speeds. (We are talking about Gran Torino currently in his 90’s. The guy was likely on equal terms with Nana Shimura so we’ve got a WAYS before that.) His new gear not only makes him MUCH faster, but EVERY gear he’s had is faster as well. And mind you, this was the 1ST pull. Apparently he will get to continue to do that as he develops. (Probably not as big of boosters if I’m going to guess) 10 seconds of max gear to 10 minutes is a boost of 60 TIMES his old capabilities in stamina. (That’s a familiar booster number) I’m not going to lie but I was kinda doubtful about what Deku said about Iida being faster than Gran Torino so I decided on a little experiment. I know Iida has been keeping up with Deku’s feats and I know Deku still favors 8% as his comfort OFA level. Currently that’s 368 mph and I multiplied it by 60 to match Iida’s stamina boost increase. And what do we land at? HOLY CRAP IIDA’S CLOCKING MACH 28. That NOT only fits Deku’s statement where I measure Gran Torino at Mach 20, but based on how Iida moves this episode, people are having about as much trouble tracking him as they did Season 1 All-Might! (Who was Mach 30.) I think Horikoshi ACTUALLY wanted you to do that based on how he performed and how people talk about what he does. I’m just forced to believe that because I know for a fact that Tenya Iida is stated to be faster than his older brother Tensei ALREADY. He’s erupting the ground, and while covered in a MOUNTAIN of rubble made out steel, he said only ONE LEG AND ARM WERE STUCK. He has movement for one of the legs under a MOUNTAIN. He COULD get out of that if he had any more freedom than he does. The conditions are EXTREMELY different as I knew that couldn’t just be a no drawback constant at his disposal. And based on how other characters responded and held him back, he’s still FAR outclassed by the pros he outpaces. Iida lacks free form movement, and there’s no way he’s at Mach 28 the whole 10 minutes. If Kaibara stalled him out, that means there’s likely a build up speed range for the 1st 5 minutes, and a wind down speed range for the 2nd across the 10 minutes. And let’s just say for 10 seconds or so (which is how long Reciproburst lasts in early seasons) in the MIDDLE is where he gets to be as fast as the giant speed juggernauts of the show. (This is likely when he was having those CRAZY animations fighting Mudman) Not to mention his movement must be pretty much in ONLY straight lines. He CLEARLY needs to control his movements better, and he needs to have more fluidity to actively access this in full combat. Which does get us to his function and weakness. For one, IF he needs his maximum speed he’d need to time it 5 minutes IN to get the speeds he needs. And that’s a TOUGH timing to find. Another weakness is in fact a VERY old one. His Stain injuries. Iida has yet to get his nerve transplant surgery, and I get the STRONG hunch that not having his arms in full function has an effect on his turning and more facets. For equipment, him having some kind of ignition to say make fire trails to contain as he runs. Maybe he can get floating gear for rocketing across water. A tether system of some kind to help him turn perhaps. (I used to think he might get flight gear one day, but I think he would just spin out like in Season 1.) And if he took up acrobatic styles like Nightwing (Batman’s 1st Robin) I think that would be a very fitting combat style for him as well. And although he is there to take up the mantle of his elder brother, I think he should actually learn the styles of Gran Torino. EVERY lesson he gave Deku is EXACTLY what Iida needs to learn. Class rep represent! Mashirao Ojiro Hero Name: Tail Man Quirk: Tail Grade: C Hero Class: Combat/Containment (He does perform the other two classes but doesn’t demonstrate them as much or as proficiently) Ok, that tail is RIDICULOUSLY powerful. To make a shockwave of such magnitude in what is essentially wet cement is CRAZY. But as I’m sure you can imagine, he needs to buff up his other limbs to get more ground as a dedicated martial artist. (I know he literally invented his own based on his tail but he needs to diversify himself more too.) I think if his arms and legs end up as huge as his tail, he would be sitting pretty. (So basically he’s gotta be Endeavor sized) I am curious if he can carry himself like Tails from Sonic. But he IS definitely reaching his max potential soon. This is not a quirk that’ll get much more unless something seriously changes. He’s proven a LOT can be done with a little. But it’s the rest of him that’s the true key to having a better arsenal. That way he’s not so reliant on his tail even if it gets a big upgrade. I’m sure there’s all sorts of equipment he can wear that’ll be good for him. Tools to harness his shockwaves in certain environments better. He’s got a lot in common with Kendo from last round. He puts in the WORK even with a not that helpful of a quirk and really makes the most of whatever is handed to him. I also think he would do really well as a staff fighter. I think if he DOES need a solid teammate to stand by him, I’d say Sero is the best choice. Shoto Todoroki Hero Name: Shoto Quirk: Half-Cold-Half-Hot Grade: S (natural, no story demand necessary) Hero Class: Symbol (all 4 classes) This…is a quirk quite literally BRED to be in use 24/7/365 so long as he keeps stamina training going. This quirk has next to no limits. Not temperature, not range, not force, not nuanced control, none of it is a limit he can hit. It’s WHY Endeavor had a quirk marriage. And to make this even MORE absurd, here’s a mental exercise for you. How does Todoroki’s body keep his elements blocked off to one half of his body? Now that we know that quirks are DNA, we also know that means his quirk can’t be contained to just one side of his body. Todoroki should STRAIGHT UP have 2 quirks. And that VASTLY widens his arsenal once he figures out either some kind of mental block or some kind of strategy with his body. Remember what we saw Endeavor do to the Nomu? EVERY move his dad has is in his arsenal both fire AND ice provided the training. And all he has to do is counterbalance his temp with the side he’s not using. His ice temperature is already just plain unknown. In order to do thoroughly freeze fire that is so ridiculously hot it likely measures to a red star at maximum temperature (2000-3500°K on the surface and 13-18 mil°K for the core. Probably closer to surface temp for Todoroki) the ice would have to be BELOW absolute zero. (Which we ALREADY knew but the more Todoroki gets good with fire, the more Todoroki breaks the rules of how cold things get.) His Flashfire suction move was CRAZY and we can throw that onto the list of attempted murder in this arc. (Tetsu didn’t even have his quirk activated) Now it all comes down to how he ties his quirk into better close combat and measuring his own body temp in a fight. The more balanced he is, the stronger he is. This quirk is #5 of the strongest quirks in the show for me. We also know in the future he’ll be able to make more shapes, make smaller and smaller precision moves, and the sky is the limit. There’s the discussion of WATER moves because he should be able to combine his fire and ice. These moves would be very slow and hard to apply, but it’s not out of the picture. He’s nearly unstoppable. I don’t know what equipment he would need. He can make his OWN equipment. Mezo Shoji Hero Name: Tentacole Quirk: Dupli-arms Grade: D to C Hero Class: Combat/Rescue/Detective (borderline symbol class and genuinely surprising he hasn’t shown much containment) This guy is quietly one of Class A’s most impressive classmates. His versatility is crazy, his speed is genuinely impressive (outrunning maximum dark shadow AND reacting to him in pitch black conditions is NO JOKE.) he has insane reflexes, and he continues to stretch himself further. Now I DO want him to develop legs like his arms, as that would be a big boon for him. Especially in speed. And how he combines his arms could lead to a GREAT deal of potential. I can’t rightfully say he can destroy a building YET though I’m not at all ruling it out he can, and he is more of a scout and backup kind of guy. But just based on what he’s done so far, far be it from me to take away what he can and can’t do. I think he can be a Mr. Fantastic kind of hero, but what he does next will probably surprise me regardless. He almost always does. We’ve seen him glide using his arms. He had this CRAZY structure in the cavalry battle where he managed to completely cover Mineta and Tsu while watching his back. Equipment is tough to consider for him. He’s another type of person who likely doesn’t need it. He’s a great brawler and I just don’t see how much equipment can help his insane versatility. He’s as good as his imagination is because he just can completely change his body. He’s probably capable of altering his body as much as Overhaul did in season 4 for all we know with just to the extent we’ve seen him alter himself already. BUT that’s like YEARS of development down the line.
Glad you're not one to discount characters like Ojiro or Shoji. As is basically one of the main themes of this show: what kind of power you have doesn't matter. It's how you use it. Also, if Shoto's Quirk is ranked #5 for you, where does his dad's place? Or his mom's? (I know we never really see Rei use her Quirk, but it stands to reason that if Shoto can do all the fire moves his dad can, then all his ice moves should be capable by his mom, right?)
@@HaydrogenBomb Neither Endeavor’s Hellflame nor Rei’s Frost scratched the top of my quirk list. Neither did Iida’s Engine or Gran Torino’s Jet. All might be top tier characters but there’s simply too many conditions to their quirks that hold them back to the point where I can say that can get used on nearly the entire cast of the franchise. The recoils of Hellflame and Frost prevent them from going anywhere near the top as they both have longevity issues and when they are reached you have MASSIVE deterioration to deal with albeit from heat stroke or frostbite. Both keep you in the hospital for a WHILE. Shoto can completely bypass both recoils and go endlessly on nothing but his own stamina and nothing else. And while I get what you mean about he can do anything Rei can with her ice, what Todoroki does is he takes every lesson Endeavor gave him about fire and applies it to his ice to maximize its potential since Rei wasn’t a hero. That’s why so many of the powers I look at I know can be reverse engineered because that’s what Todoroki has done from the very beginning.
@@HaydrogenBomb also Shoji and Iida are the two closest to being symbol class from the borderline symbol class. They literally only need one more workshopped move. Shoji earns high respect for his creativity and Ojiro is a CRAZY hard worker. Neither should be slept on just because they had teammates with 2 S-Grade Quirks of the more major characters.
@@Kaempfdogif ojiro does work more on his own fighting style, having armed combat would be a good supplement. A staff is a pretty good idea, giving him more range even when he uses it with his tail. Maybe the staff can split into 3 batons for his hands and tail to triple wield. Gives him a better close combat and harder to predict fighting style, as well as a throwable weapon in some cases.
Pony was kinda the MVP this round, despite having one of the weaker Quirks of both teams. Unrelated question: you think she's related to Cow Lady from the Two Heroes movie?
@haydenberends3905 yeah, they can evolve (cow powers with something else in this case) or mutate but, im just saying there's nothing so far that even hints at them being related other than they are both from overseas, so to me, they aren't related
a lot of people like to call this arc boring but i gotta say this episode clearly stands out among the others in this arc the animation is peak the entire time and it's a really tense battle given the limited stakes
Todoroki should’ve switched back to his ice after heating up Tetsutetsu. After all, when you rapidly cool hot metal, it quenches. He’d likely be unable to move for a while.
Yeah technically shes suppose to speak broken english in the Japanese version, but since that doesn't work, they gave her an accent that she goes back and forth with
TBH, Testutestu's and Honezuki's last move was really mean and vile, because it actually might kill Todoroki and Iida or leave them serious injuries like spine fracture. It was so unnecessary for the training
So was Todoroki attempting to blast fire in Tetsu’s face when he had no armor, and Iida almost taking off Honenuki’s HEAD. There was a LOT of attempted murder in this battle
@@Kaempfdog Yet, Todoroki was already unconscious at the moment they did that. If there wasn't Iida, he can't do anything to protect himself. From the other hand, others still could defend themselves. Maybe it was a bit harsh, but not like 'let's throw a damn metal column on the back of the person who's already injured and the person who tries to save him'. IMO, there's a difference
@@Shale_shuTo be fair, MHA never goes for realism with those types of injuries. For example, All Might knee'd Bakugo in the chin so hard he *went through a building* yet instead of becoming paralyzed, he gets back up and starts fighting again really quickly. Doylist reason is merely rule of cool, MHA has always had a fantastical amount of leeway in terms of what actually injures someone. Watsonian reason: quirks have made humans in MHA far more durable than irl
Hadn't honezuki softened the column first so it wouldn't crush them? When we saw the aftermath of it, it looked more like iida has been hit by a mudslide rather than a building so I don't think it would have seriously hurt them because it was soft at the point it would've hit them

15:34 - For one second, I thought he's about to say "Crap...baskets" and I was so ready to reply with "Oh, you say that, too!?" 😂😂😂
I'm glad you noticed the Southern speak!
(At 13:05) I was laughing when I heard it in Japanese:
"Oh~ the way you got me… so darn ordinary!"
I love Pony’s JP voice actor and especially her delivery of that line
Class B Balanced Team
Juzo Honenuki
Hero Name: Mudman
Quirk: Softening
Grade: A
Hero Class: Symbol (All 4 classes)
This is a power recommendations student for a reason.
(I think Tetsu’s team lost the cavalry because they all got brainwashed by Shinso in the last 10 seconds)
Sen Kaibara
Hero Name: Spiral
Quirk: Gyrate
Grade: D
Hero Class: Combat
So we didn’t get to see him do MUCH, but having rotating limbs to make drills out of yourself is actually quite decent.
Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu
Hero Name: Real Steel
Quirk: Steel
Grade: B
Hero Class: Combat/Rescue
Like Kirishima he’s such a solid destructive tanking bruiser he gets beyond building grade.
Pony Tsunotori
Hero Name: Rocketti
Quirk: Horn Cannon
Grade: D
Hero Class: Combat/Rescue/Containment
Alright this American exchange student is a lil snot girl who body shames poor Shoji for his looks and then says she’ll throw him in prison where she won’t have to look at him like the octopus in the aquarium.
@@Kaempfdog Yeah, I remember that last one. I suppose you've got a point.
@@JDP5127 Okay, but high overall temperatures and direct contact with something hot are two different things, right?
@@HaydrogenBombprobably got used to it, courtesy of his father
(At16:20) At this point, I was rooting for Class 1B after Mudman made this "desperate" attempt.
Tetsutetsu’s punches causing todoroki to flashback to his father is wilddddd
That’s why when they forge swords, they quench them. however, if done improperly the metal can crack, so you’re not really wrong per se.
considering his speed and the time it took to make the tower fall Iida should never have been anywhere close enough to get caught
21:04 “oh god! Why do I feel a moustache and lips touching me?”
Class A Offense Team
Tenya Iida
Hero Name: Ingenium
Quirk: Engine
Grade: S (story demands it)
Hero Class: Rescue/Combat/Detective (borderline symbol class 1 move or equipment piece shy)
We have our 1st S-tier, and as I mentioned before, you know who every single one of them are. (That’s a familiar booster number)
I’m not going to lie but I was kinda doubtful about what Deku said about Iida being faster than Gran Torino so I decided on a little experiment.
Mashirao Ojiro
Hero Name: Tail Man
Quirk: Tail
Grade: C
Hero Class: Combat/Containment (He does perform the other two classes but doesn’t demonstrate them as much or as proficiently)
Ok, that tail is RIDICULOUSLY powerful.
Shoto Todoroki
Hero Name: Shoto
Quirk: Half-Cold-Half-Hot
Grade: S (natural, no story demand necessary)
Hero Class: Symbol (all 4 classes)
This…is a quirk quite literally BRED to be in use 24/7/365 so long as he keeps stamina training going.
Mezo Shoji
Hero Name: Tentacole
Quirk: Dupli-arms
Grade: D to C
Hero Class: Combat/Rescue/Detective (borderline symbol class and genuinely surprising he hasn’t shown much containment)
This guy is quietly one of Class A’s most impressive classmates.
@@Kaempfdogwait so now I wanna know, what are your top 5 quirks?
@@Kaempfdogif ojiro does work more on his own fighting style, having armed combat would be a good supplement. A staff is a pretty good idea, giving him more range even when he uses it with his tail. Maybe the staff can split into 3 batons for his hands and tail to triple wield. Gives him a better close combat and harder to predict fighting style, as well as a throwable weapon in some cases.
The show needs more Mudman. He’s so cool.
"Mud Ice"
I think that's just called Water.
Pony was kinda the MVP this round, despite having one of the weaker Quirks of both teams.
Unrelated question: you think she's related to Cow Lady from the Two Heroes movie?
No cause she'd have cow powers instead
@@arielmartinez94 Quirks change as the generations pass, remember? If they are related, then Cow Lady's probably a grand relative.
@haydenberends3905 yeah, they can evolve (cow powers with something else in this case) or mutate but, im just saying there's nothing so far that even hints at them being related other than they are both from overseas, so to me, they aren't related
