Yea, not really buying their analysis of the data. Kinda looks like they came in with an assumption and didn’t get the results to back it up. So they picked at crumbs.
Yea no difference for this guy, if anything the Max had better dispersion. Michael Newton Golf did this test and got much better results with the LST, I guess individual results may vary
Need someone with a more average, on or a little above average, swing speed to do this test and see how these two clubs perform under more normal circumstances!
G430 LST FW was a development nightmare, it was late late. So we could assume they had problems getting the titanium face to be durable enough. Or they couldn't get it to outperform the Max in speed/spin.. So maybe if it's the latter, they just released it anyway but slapped the 600€ pricetag on it so nobody would buy it 😅
Went with max, beautiful club as good as lst xD tbh all I see you guys get is a extra weight in top of head and that red and black shaft bruh this was a reach ha. Go max you’ll be happy
Ping fairway woods are awesome. The difference between max and LST... Are literally nothing. It seems like it's just a d*ick measuring contest in the bag on who has the smallest "players" clubs. It's like when someone says... "oh, I play Tour issue" or "I play triple diamond". "oh, you have the Max? Are you new to golf or something?" We get it.
It's weird how similar they are... Agree. Wish you guys could show strike location to see if that was a factor or not.
I don’t get it. This seems a no brainer. Max for the win. Honestly…we seem to have a player that “wants” the lst to take it. Hmm…

Isn’t the Max $300 cheaper? A true no brainer!
Yeah the max is definitely a better fit for him, but he thinks he’s a player so he went with the lst
I changed from the Ping G425 LST 3 wood to the Paradym X 3 wood, and hitting the new one so much better.

Max is definitely the way to go I carry the 430 3w max 267 off tee the lst definitely goes further but I rather hit more fairways with bad swings
For $150 more NO CHANCE the peformance difference covers it.
LST sounds awful - here and in person. Max marginally better. (Marginally)
