Thanks for the honest review of the Max D. There is a popular competitive channel that reviewed it not so fairly, as if its only for hackers. As being recently fit for it, I accept the added forgiveness!
I gave up on my 3W, and play a 5W set up as a 4W, for exactly the reasons you stated, Michael. But maybe 3 woods are 'hitable' again. The Callaway is a nicer looking club, in all respects. And the consistency with which it did what it said on the box is confidence inspiring.
your thoughts on the Fairway woods I am 59 with a SS of 90-94 mph with my driver I need a 7 wood and have narrowed it down to Wilson dynapower / Taylormade Qi10 Max / Cleveland launcher xl Halo / srixon MK2 looking for distance and forgiveness your thoughts are welcomed thx cheers from Canada
My 7 iron speed is about 75 MPH's. I find for FW there is no point playing a 3 wood or 5 wood, I just go straight to the 7 wood QI max and I can carry around 190 and it rolls out around 205. I had the regular stealth 5 wood (18 degree) and it wasn't for me.
Callaway is a superior product here. 200 cc 3 wood in the TM is too big. My miss is left so neither one of these are good for me. My TSR3 3 wood is as good as it gets. Looks/sound/feel are amazing.
Got fitted for Ping driver G430 LST ( had before G 400 Max ) , woods max D 3 HL, Max D 7&11, irons HL 6 to aW ( gap wedge ) indoor practices are good just can’t wait to spring season in Montréal, 🇨🇦…..17 handicap but needs some help in launching …getting older
Michael if I may , it's the man/woman/junior etc is it not NOT THE CLUB . Like myself does not go as far as a 4 rescue 22° stiff shaft. Club. But it goes off to the right .
Michael . Forgive my spelling not sure how to spell your name . FOR ME I LIKE THE SMOKE DESIGN BUT LIKE ANY OTHER Club WHY IS IT UNDERNEATH NOT ON THE TOP . WELL IN THE BAG ITS COVERED WHEN USING ITS UNDERNEATH .
The top of the Callaway club looks amazing, the bottom is the worst I have seen. Hideous. No comment on the Adam's/ taylormade. Like another comment, Callaway for the adjustability.

Got the 3 wood paradym smoke HL 16.5* ajustable but for the time been stays ar 16.5* for my game it’s the best fitted ( Jan 2024 ).
I do the exact same thing and Carry an iCrossover 2i
I love my 3W-HL. Off the first two tees I start with my high launch and pull out my driver on the third tee. I like to ease into 18-holes⛳️
the smoke is the best 3w ive hit since the xhot. amazing club, had the stealth 3w prior.
Great review and I’m excited for the Wilson staff cb and blade review!
Callaway for the win…same price yet you get the adjustable hosel
Yeah but Callaway only makes the 3 wood adjustable. The rest of them are bonded hosel.
Love the content, keep up the good work! How would these compare in forgiveness to the TSR2 3 wood?
Small sample size but the spin consistency of the Callaway is outstanding.

Callaway heavenwood. It’s awesome like a 7 wood. I have similar speed. This is 180-195 and easy.

Is the Max version draw biased? I thought it was neutral.
QI 10 Max is draw biased
There’s a Max and a Max D, the latter is the draw biased club
Great review
Impressive

I am considering a TSR3 16.5 degree 4 wood to go with my TSR3 10 degree driver.
@@tomb9658 nice. My TSR3 driver is also at 10 degrees. My 3 wood is standard 15 deg. Also have a 18 deg 5 wood. All 3 are amazing
I have the 16.5 as it’s superb for me. I can almost not use my driver as I tend to hit it c250-60
@@johnmarshall8522 A solid 16.5 fairway wood without a draw/hook bias can be a great option off the tee for an entire round.
Good video, thanks!

Happy with my r7 and Inesis 500
Let's see the standard versions face off without Max
