Hey Anthony, Good to see Connor back in the shop. The tac welds take a bit of getting used to, But having followed Rat Rod Bob for some time a guy gets sorta used to them. The front tires are too beefy looking. The rear tires are WAY too small ! It needs something to fill that tire well hole, or at least look like it is. The distance between the rear tire and the body makes the rod look like a japanese stamped steel toy from the 50s. I like your battery location. I used that same place when I built my 27 Bucket Roadster. I used a dash from a 49 ford narrowed it, and retained the glove box door for access to and visibility of the battery. Work safe, Be Well Stay Warm. ( We Are Still In Kansas)
First HAPPY NEW YEAR to you and yours !! The Jeep is looking great. Just keeps hitting the wow factor each step of the way now. I do agree with you about the tires. The rear tires need to be taller. Maybe an old school single bar hoop roll bar just to even the look... or two indivdual old race car style behind the seat roll bars..one behind each seat. But it is looking great.. going to be a fun ride when it's done.
@@HardCoreFab Just something cool about a Jeep ratrod.. Be tempting [and I understand it not being yours lol], to put paddles on the back bald skinny [slimmer] on the front. Old school sand drag car. I think it used to be 100 yards of pure acceleration.... used to be for "tech inspection " it had to have a working [4wd] front axle. So guys would use the smallest lightest Jeep axle [25] on the front. Pull the required minimum distance to pass inspection. Then unlock it back to 2wd. Then it was just a 100 yard paddle tired drag car.... and like the song... those were the days... lol. Enjoying everything and looking forward to seeing what's next. 😎 👍
Man I just love what you do. I think amaller wheel/ tires up front would look better. Just saying. Keep.on keeping on. Happy New year. Bigger and better this year I hope!!
A model T style top would look cool..where the back of the top is higher than the windshield and about half way between it swoops like a black widow web

Yeah, bigger on the back!
Wide tires on the rear, Happy New Years
Same to you!
Smaller front tires may take some of the bulk out of the front and add some street attitude. Looking much better and definately safer.
Love the build. I agree with you, the back tires are just a little small for this rod.
