Super fun to watch this video. Great job. My husband, son and I spent the past 14 months building our Factory Five ‘33 Hotrod, so it was awesome to see all the familiar steps.
Instead of music you could have just played that gorgeous engine sound in each gear. Dang! What can possibly be nicer than building a project car with your buddy
Absolutely awesome! Congrats! My retirement present to myself (very soon) will be a Factory Five kit. For literally a couple of decades I've drooled over a Cobra project, but the 35 Truck is just fantastic.
Ahhhh... all the coolant system changes lol And that poor old lady we scared the bejeezus out of And the hours of sanding fiberglass It was all completely worth it, and I can't wait to see what the next project brings us. Thanks for all the views and comments peeps. 🤙
Plan on doing this build with a rusty looking paint job. Love how yours turned out. Made me willing to take the leap. Nice to see it can be done without a lift.
@@decelation how many miles on the truck? I'm getting ready to build a Daytona coupe from FFR, I plan on dailying it. I have a whippled f150, but I really miss the manual.
a beautiful build. just the motivation I need to get back to putting a new engine in my '71 GMC 1500 stepside. 30 over 350, 10.25:1 CR, true roller valvetrain, Brodix Track 1 heads, Offy IR intake, twin 390 double pumpers.
Thank you, I really appreciate it. That sounds like a sick build. I am about to reveal my next build in about a month but it is right in that alley of your truck
@@bowstobourboncreate a spreadsheet of the things you would want for it and look up the prices, put them in and then add 10 to 15% once you have that number figure out how you are going to fund it
Great Job, I am buying the 35 truck this summer, but I will also add full hood with the fenders and running boards. How long did it take you in real time? Thank Ron USCG RET
That is awesome. It is really hard to answer that question. Filming tends to add 30% more time due to trying make room for the camera, do the work and have enough lighting for the camera to see. With that I can say there was a solid 2 years worth of effort building it while working full time
I don’t have a slower version, this is just a combination of all my videos for this build. I do have a playlist on my channel that has all of these videos though
It is hard to tell on the length of time because filming adds a significant amount of time to the build. To me the most difficult part is maintaining momentum to keep working on it. If you make sure you touch and work on it every week it will get done before you know it
@morgansmetals, is that hood emblem your work? 🥰If yall don't know what she does, hit her up. She makes some badass stuff ! I have one sitn on my beer fridge out back.
Honestly that would not be that hard to accomplish. If none of the suspension points line up you would just have to cut them off and weld them in the right spot. You may also want to shorten the housing and axles
I apologize that I was unable to find music that I could purchase a copyright license for that is appeasing to everyone’s taste. I will try harder next time

That is a great idea for music
A custom hood ornament?! Hats off to you and your team because that is one bad ass truck!
Yup we came up with the idea after finding @torquentungsten , Morgan is a phenomenal artist that hand carved this piston. Thank you
Congratulations, it looks bad ass, sounds gnarly, and you had some awesome friends helping throughout.
Thank you. I really appreciate it. Yes the friends that helped are truly the best

Thank you, I really appreciate it. It is definitely a great present to yourself. I initially wanted the Cobra as well until I saw the truck

Lol it was definitely an adventure, worth every second..............even the fiberglass sanding ones

That would be sick. Thank you. It is definitely worth taking the leap
Dude that looks wicked, out of this world, Amazing build, I wish i had your patience EPIC!
Thank you, I really appreciate it. It just takes dedication and knowing when you need to walk away for a minute or a day and just take a break
Excellent job man! It's going to take the rest of your life to wipe that smile off your face, if it ever comes off!
Thank you. I really appreciate it. You are right, I am always smiling looking at this truck
The smiles and screams at 2:11 makes it all worth while brother! Heck yeah!
That was definitely an amazing moment

@@stephenfrost545 I haven’t put many miles on it yet. There are a couple of things I need to sort out but I haven’t really had time to do yet.

@@stephenfrost545 thank you. Yes I agree.
Cool ride. That hood ornament is nothing short of FANTASTIC! Kudos on the soundtrack. I almost always mute those.

That is actually a spray paint called Steel it. It is their grey paint

I want to do this exact build with my son.

Yes it is her wonderful handiwork. She also crafted the awesome cup holders in the truck as well.
I wanna build one with a Dually Dana 70
