I got potg as Hanzo once and I didn’t do one kill. I shot my scanning arrow, missed all of my sonic arrows and melee someone once and that was the play of the game. Just to say my friends all laughed at me

I got a POG last week that was just me walking down the road after respawning as Torb, whilst my turret got a team kill on the other side of the map.....
My only thought is that maybe he shielded something big by accident, and the algorithm saw that as noteworthy? But I can't see what that could have been if that was the case. That, or maybe he somehow stunned someone from an ult? I have seen play of the games where shutdowns are all that was noteworthy. Then again, I could be grasping at straws here for this guy.
Sometimes the wackiest "plays" get POTG. One time I got POTG as Brigitte, when all I did was feebly attempt to swat at an ulting Mercy flying in the air lmao.
I most likely don’t have this saved anymore, but at one point I had a POTG where I got a triple kill as Bastion with his ult. The issue here is that In order to get that ult off I jumped off a ledge to get the angle, I then proceeded to fall out of bounds and die. Still got POTG somehow.
One of my saved potgs was just me building a snowman as Mei. Granted it was because it was Yeti hunters and the yeti instantly dc'd but I still love having a potg completely devoid of combat
I have to assume it was because of the damage mitigated + payload contested time. I'm sure that factors into their algorithm and no other play topped this score
Considering the timing of the potg, seems like it was reaper's moment, but for some reason the game just glitched and showed reinhardt's pov during reaper's play
one time i got a potg where it was a junkrat using their tire but it cut off before anything happened so the potg was just the tire running around the map (wasn't even close to ppl)
I had a potg with old symmetra where i wanted to get her archievement that needed 20 (i think) people to pass through the teleporter. I put it right next to the spawn and the potg was just me walking through the portal 4-5 times 😂
This might actually be worse than the one POTG with Torb being dead while 5 guys got annihilated by his sentry turret. This guy was ACTUALLY TRYING and got NOTHING!
