- Overwatch 2 Invasion all cutscenes. Overwatch 2 Invasion is a dlc which contains 3 PvE story missions - Resistance, Liberation and Ironclad. Because Blizzard is so lazy and incompetent, all cutscenes are being streamed via cloud and may appear a little blurry due to potential internet connection issues. But i hope you'll enjoy this video :)

I loved the part when rienhardt said "HAMMER DOWN!" And destroyed the computers with the data for the pve.
I really liked that part where sombra EMP'd on the rest of the computers

He hated mondatta and saw him as a traitor after he denounced null-sector. He even said mondatta inherited humanities weakness. Plus it’d be more interesting than doomfist doing it because “peace bad war good”

An actual story mode, in Overwatch 2. This is so well made, makes me angry that it’s all locked behind a paywall, and the money is only for these first 3 missions.
putting story behind a paywall is completely acceptable for a f2p game. its the game industry standard. but yeah the amount of content per price is not worth it.

Why are we, as customers, have to lower our standarts when we are the ones who are BUYING and INVESTING? They are not doing this for fan service. It's a game which is made to increase the income for Blizzard. So we are trading money in exchange for "quality material", or we used to. Considering the current trend of shitty launches of course. The cost increased while the quality decreased. What the fuck did go wrong? What changed?

Now, what we've got here, is a shell, a mere shadow of the set expectations (By Blizzard Themselves). They didn't say shit about the paywall. They didn't say shit about they were going to make only 3 episodes of it. Almost everything they have promised was a lie. And we are expected to pay a shitton of money to buy 3 missions? I'm telling you what I think: If I see a torrent of these missions, I'm pirating it. Not interested in feeding those greedy bastards a single penny.

Something to consider while watching these: Blizzard promised multiple character oriented campaigns, one or more for each character, which means this is anywhere from one fifth to one tenth of the cutscenes we were supposed to get.

I have been following this game for years and blizzard never promised multiple character oriented campaigns, i see people spreading this misinformation everywhere and I think it comes from the “hero missions” that they talked out.
They promised only one story campaign (which we still don’t have because it’s only 3 missions and a cliffhanger)
The hero missions where going to be randomly generated missions that could take place on any map and have randomly generated objectives, you could use any hero on these missions and you would gain xp. They said this mode would be intended as the games end game progression and it wouldn’t be cannon or have a story besides the hero dialogue in the mission.
@@TheAlreadybeentakenActually Blizzard did promise hero campaigns which were meant to be seperate from the campaign and PvP matches. These were meant to be a means of in-game character development where you were dripped into a scenario with a pre selected hero/loadout to complete the mission. This was part of the original pre-production announcment for OW2 but was talked about less and less the closer Blizz got to release, with talk about this aspect ceasing before launch. I dont blame you for not being aware of this aspect of the game since Blizz went radio silent pretty early on, but there is a good reason why the majority of the playbase, current or otherwise, thinks this was real and it has nothing to fo with misinformation.
@@Tempest-jc3me no rewatch the blizzzcon online thing and the 2019 blizzcon the story campaign was never going to have leveling… Leveling was for hero missions and jeff in 2019 described hero missions as being like adventure mode in diablo…
They talked about how hero missions are going to be randomly generated by taking place on any map and having a random set of enemy types and a random set of objectives…
unless you have some kind of leaked information that the devs never mentioned to the public there was never no such thing as hero campaigns, they never used the word campaign… they always called them missions
in a q/a from 2019 they said not all characters would be playable in the story but all would be playable in hero missions, and they made a joke about how it would be weird for roadhog and wrecking ball to show up as playable and they did hint at eventually making more story missions in the future with them possible but they said they would be playable in hero missions

Not even kidding, the current lead writer actually blocks people on twitter who ask him about the developments happening between Genji and Mercy. Yet at the same time he's in constant contact with a Pharmercy stan account and always consults them for lore regarding Pharah... It's messed up man, they did my cyborg ninja bro real dirty

One thing always sucks about "new" characters being retroactively put into the time line. Everyone keeps talking about Sojourn as if she's the best thing to ever happen to Overwatch... after years of never talking about her once.

But Sojourn has already been introduced in Storm Rising archive mission (2019). She was behind that operation.
She was one of the higher ups in OW, known about since the first archives PVE mission in like 2017 or so. Im pretty sure shes just below in ranking than Soldier 76 and Ana, and everyone else in OW (Reinhardt, winston, tracer, etc.) are below her in ranking, and now that Ana and Soldier 76 are vigilantes whose locations are unknown, Sojourn is highest in command.
@@erad13x67 Not saying lore wise she's not important, just in terms of player information she's rather weakly built up. She was a random voice over the radio in the Archive mission, missions that really never went any where as the story was abandoned along with the rest of updates to Ow1.
There mere fact every character feels the need to say how awesome Sojourn is, just makes her less awesome. Show don't tell and all that.
So lemme get this straight, all of the anti-omnic reactionary lines are given to Reinhardt, who actively helped protect Omnics and Omnic sympathizers during the King's Row riots, and not Zarya, whose story is directly tied to distrusting Omnics?

I think it was a little different than that during the war Rein faced many of bastions kind and has ptsd from Eichenwald so it was less of Anti-Omnic and more of a reaction from his time in the war.
I think his reaction to Bastion made sense, but the rest was stupid.
Zarya also worked with an omnic when trying to track down Sombra in a comic. And risked her life to save it. So, I guess she's a bit more lax now.
Reinhardt on the other hand... well, he has more than enough stories to tell aboit how bad the og omnic war was.

From his experience, bastion units were just machines. They weren't sentient, just like the Null Sector bots he is fighting in these missions. He did not know Bastion had independent thought, and his first instinct upon seeing him was to attack because he could be a potential tragedy waiting to happen.

Zenjatta will destroy both of them. I mean as a master of genji and we all know how strong Genji is, he is without a doubt with Rammatra and Genji the strongest character in Overwatch.
Damn the marketing team fumbled the bag, this was an amazing amount of lore and cutscenes yet much of the old OW1 playerbase doesn’t even know of it’s existence, including me a day one player. It also sucks because it’s been almost a year now and we havent gotten anymore content like this
The story with Zenyatta and Ramattra gives me goosebumps.
This theme of going around trying to recruit hero's to the team is such a great premise. Opens the doors for countless missions where you meet new characters and locations.

The fact that Ramattra told Zenyatta that they would meet again and then Mondatta leaves the Shambali and gets killed by Widowmaker and now Ramattra is using violence to free Omnics which goes against everything they learned at the shambali. This must be really hard for Zenyatta. 😢

This is what I’ve been waiting for since Overwatch 2 was announced. Even though the story wasn’t released during launch, and their locked behind a paywall, I’m happy that their finally giving this damn game a story mode after so many cinematics building it up. I’ve been enjoying them so far, and I’ll be waiting for the next story missions.
Yeah all it took was them stealing everyone's money but hey, now's theres content.
Ugh. Entire VR games cost as much as a single chapter of these stories. I would pay $60 for a game but I f^&*ing HATE being strung along like this. And for that reason, I'm out.

The dialogue between Ramattra and Master
Mondatta while a young Zenyatta silently and patiently listens is so elegantly tragic. It’s clear that Ramattra is so extraordinarily jaded due to what he has experienced in the world after the Awakening. And even then, all Master Mondatta wanted for Ramattra was for him to consider treating humans with kindness - those who “may not look like you and may not understand you” because of their plight. I imagine that this must have been so jarring for Zenyatta. Choosing between his brother and his Master. And choosing to remain to continue learning. Ramattra’s addition to the game was perhaps the best decision the OW team ever made for the lore and for the gameplay
the absoulute quality of these cutscenes, and overwatch 2, could never be more different. Rip overwatch 1
blizzard needs to hand this game over to someone who really cares because the story and lore of this game is too amazing for the game to be like this

It really depends on the extreme. The main big arching villian is a social Darwinist who believes in manufacturing war to evolve humanity. Ram might be a villain but he's portrayed alot more sympathetically than other villians and is only really a villain because he's being manipulated

i feel like the next mission when it releases it will be zen and genji forced to work with sombra and widow when null sector attacks them, genji will probably have an epic stand off first against the 2 before null attacks
pretty sure null sector is sided with talon, ramattra and doom are in cahoots so sombra and widow would fight WITH null sector, not against them, although sombra does have her own intentions, i could see her turning on widow

Ramattra is so deluded with his ideology that he forgets that by putting his already limited population at risk, he will only lose more of that limited population, and create a further division between humans omnics, pushing for further division and no cooperation between the two, granted he is allowed to defend himself against the human aggressors, but taking it out on everyone is where he is pushing it.

The Zenyatta short was incredible. The best on in my opinion!
If Zenyatta is killed by Talon like Mondatta was, and Ramattra knows what actually happened, I will start pitying them instead of hating them. Not even God or Satan can save them from the wrath that Genji and Ramattra will bring upon them.

The ironic thing. He doesn't know that Talon is the reason Mondatta is dead. Doomfist is funding the Null sector and giving them assets, thats why the Null sector is ten times more advanced compared to Uprising. Maybe there will be a plot point where Ramattra realizes that Talon isn't working with the Null sector for the same reasons
Could you imagine if Zenyatta - after some more development, of course - joined Talon? How compelling would it be for this character so one-dimensionally peaceful and balanced to eventually decide that allowing the last of the Omnics to die to a ruthless humanity after the fall of Ramattra and loss of Mondatta would be suicidal and pointless?
From Zen's perspective (which is insinuated to be at least somewhat conflicted in Shambali), his massive hunch that Mondatta would simply die the moment he stepped foot into the open was very accurate and his equal - perhaps even superior - Ramattra had just abandoned the monastery because of a similar worry. If he followed this path, it could even set up a future redemption arc far more realistic and compelling than just always being nonviolent and peace-seeking and winning over the masses through sheer will.
The fall and rise of a character like Zenyatta would possibly be the richest story to tell in the Overwatch universe right now, especially after teaching Genji so much, only for his former master to turn on harmony - Mondatta's teachings would always loom in Zenyatta and eventually bring him back from discord and back to balance. I think this would bring a lot more meaning to Mondatta's somewhat empty death as well. My interpretation, anyway.
Some 5 years later we find out how Lucio joined the team and other issues... and it's locked behind a paywall lol.
We found out a long time ago we only got two new missions with these the Lucio one was already shown and played by a bunch of people

When Sojourn said "You need to understand, overwatch was shut down for a reason. Its time to move on" i felt that...
I’m happy this is at least a thing, and I really think the epilogue is the best part. As much as I like this, the facial animation and dialogue seems stilted in the first three segments, but the acting and directing of the scene between Zenyatta, Ramattra, and Mondatta was really good! It didn’t fall into stereotypical dialogue, and felt mature.

We hope we get another missions after this, maybe this time Genji is going to the rescue
Really hoping the next drop of story missions will be more than 3 just hoping there’s between 7-10. 3 missions on legendary took me 13 hours so dropping more missions would be better for the game overall.
If it's not to sell a battle pass, it won't happen. If this didn't promote a jump in their profits, it's not likely this model with continue. At best, the next thing would be 3 more missions; probably yearly to drag it out as much as possible; at worst, they drop story alltogether again like they did between OW1 and 2.

These cutscenes feel like they were a porn directors first attempt at something serious.

Not a fan of how they portrayed Reinhardt as being essentially dumb about Omnics or how they pretty much wrote off Jack Morrison in favor for Sojourn.
No mention of Ana either which is disappointing as well.
But those are my only complaints, definitely happy we got a bit of Zenyatta!
Ngl Ana and Jack may actually come into contact with junkrat and hog sense she’s actively searching from Jack he could be after hog and ray although Ana may actually know hog sense she’s been to junker town causing trouble and he was an enforcer there at one point imagine a mission where jack is hunting the two and gets into a fight but then there’s an explosion from null sector attacking Ana reveals herself formally introducing jack to Mako an original member of the Australian liberation front and they all have to work together to survive and after it all Ana hires hog and rat to help maybe jack leaves after but it would make sense we know junkrat idolizes overwatch and even wants to be a hero so I could see him convincing hog to help Ana

If you remember the storm rising. Doomfist made an agreement with Ramattra. Making a deal first, Talon now is funding Nullsector. Ramattra doesn't want rights, they have them. But he wants omics to be treated as people. Their constantly being killed because they chose to not fight back, so Ramattra is not taking that from humans no more.
I’d love to play this but no way am I supporting their decision to remove heroic missions

Man thanks for this I downloaded Overwatch 2 because I wanted to experience the story/campaign mode but since I have to PAY MONEY FOR A STORY THAT WAS PROMISED FOR A RUSHED GAME I’m stuck with playing Tf2 with different weapons and character designs and another main reason I got the game was because I wanted to play as Reaper Bastion and Rienheart
Talon pulling up on Zenyatta makes me hope we'll soon get some Genji content going back to how much of a menace he was in Dragons. Cause that's his boy, he's not just gonna let Talon kidnap or kill him.
As skilled as Genji is, Zenyatta is even better. A blue sniper and sneaky hacker aren't gonna be a problem for him.

As shitty as Blizzard and Overwatch 2, these cutscenes are insanely good, and the Zenyatta one did make me tear up because it made me feel like Ramattra and Zenyatta really were brothers. I wont be paying for this, but I am very much looking forward to the next cutscenes we get
I may not like Overwatch and be a big fan of TF2, but... I admit, this is pretty cool

Ok, is it just me, or does Bastion's transformation look ridiculous. His lover half just speeeens and turns into tank treads. It's ridiculous when compared to The Last Bastion's transformation sequences
I think its just because theres no realistic way for him to even have tank tracks inside him to begin with, in OW1 and The last bastion, he had the turret form, which makes alot more sense since its just his arms and legs rearranging into a sort of static support. But even in OW1 when he ulted and turned into a tank, they just "show up" out of nowhere, like theres no way for him to have entire tank treads inside him, much less a sort of engine and wheels to move them. I mean... what would you suggest them to do to get him to turn into a tank?
very nice, it's the good parts of overwatch 2 with the animation and storytelling and character design and none of the bad parts of overwatch 2 with the spending money on overwatch 2 and the playing overwatch 2

It would be incredible to have some form of movie or TV series using this story or a similar concept because this has some serious potential.
The game in itself is really good actually, the voice actors, animators and developers are doing their best... The problem, as usual (usual as in... well it happens in many game franchises nowadays -_-) are the shareholders who limits the people doing the actual work to "gain more monney because we need it😇", one hell of an exemple of these sad situations being Overwatch 2 were developers were forced to erase or completely remplace all of the work they had done on the pve campain so it could be more marketable😔 anyway, sorry for all the writing, but I'm a little tired of people criticizing the game, when the real problem are those blood-sucking money pumps.
