Excellent tip, there is a good motor learning aspect here with the way you address the rehearsal especially at the pace at which you move. Very few golfers rehearse impact, that is critical to good ball striking 🏌🏻♂️. Well done
A tip that I found online for this is that from the top of the backswing the right hip & right shoulder, for a righty, get back to the ball before the club head without your head moving forward.
Hey Larry! , I have been trying to implement a lot of your coaching and feel like I am rotating/squatting well and down hinging but it looks and feels like I am becoming way too shallow (horizontal) and in to out? Is this a sequencing issue or what could it be? Hope you can help! Thanks.
Hey Larry, thanks for drill! Do you have any tips on how to start transitioning this feel into the full golf swing? When I do this rewind drill I get some great contact, but when I try to do this in a full swing I revert back to pulling my hands down leading to some very fat (and poor) strikes. Is it just a matter of working through it enough to re-write some muscle memory?
When do we finally fire the arms in the swing? I get this drill and it's extremely helpful but my brain tells me this will not be powerful because the arms stay back. We need to eliminate the arms pull yes, but how to add them back in? After shallowing into the slot?
Good drill. The video show us a very late push through (after impact) . How a push (at p6) affects the impact position ? The push is still not clear for me!!!! I think we all have a tendency to push too soon!!! thanks . bruno
I absolutely know this is a key move. But I remain skeptical most amateurs can sequence this complex move in a repeatable manner. This drill is somewhat easy in slow motion but the minute you add speed it gets very difficult. Especially if you’re over a 10 handicap.
Outstanding instruction..!
Thanks,
William
I waited more than 10 Years for a Drill like that. Thx a lot 🙃
If only I knew this 20 years ago. Great instruction as always.
Dude...you just cured my early extension. You’re a genius.

Great lesson.
Great drill! Tried it yesterday.
Thank u for this video, Is this drill good for stack and tilt as well ?
Do u focus swinging with left hand or right hand?
up to you but I don't remember asking any of my clients to isolate a hand =)
Exactly what I need to work on! Thanks
Hi Larry, love your work. When during the downswing should we begin the weight transition ? Thanks.
I do no talk about weight transition with any of my clients, other than to tell them not to think about it lol =)
Great drill Larry.

Hi Larry! Nice drill! I am wondering if this drill that you are doing is what we should try to do at full speed as well? Thanks for your answer! 🙏
Not at full speed =)
Larry Cheung Golf thanks Larry for your response! 🙏

hard to say without seeing the swing =)
Hey Larry this drill totally changed my iron game. Does it work for the driver? Would I rewind from the driver impact?
I wouldn't do it with a driver, but if your swing is getting better with an iron, just try to do the same thing with the driver =)

tough to say without seeing the swing, you're probably not exaggerating enough or feeling the same thing as the rewind drill when going full swings =)
Awesome, thanks Larry. I love these drills that help me correct my posture and sequencing problems.

Canyo talk about the weight distribution at impact in this drill and full swing?

How much of my weight should be on my left foot when the club is back at the ball just before impact?
At what point here do you throw the club?
Great drill Larry. Looking forward to trying that out.
What a great drill!. Thank you sir!
Should the 80% weight load stay in the trail heel?
depends on the player and what they need to feel =)
...more good stuff

OK
Cool insight but what are the chances an amateur can replicate this without an instructor on site
