He has 20 after yesterday's 19.52. Could have as many as 40 by careers end. Including a few sub 19.40s..because I think he will get faster. Michael Johnson was nearly 29 when he ran 19.32.

Bolt was 31 by the time he retired. Lyles is only 24. I believe he will have at least 36 sub 20 times by the time he finishes. Including at least one under 19.40.

It looks like Noah Lyle frequently had the best turns at the bend for the 200m. And he can sustain his speed in the second half of the race.

Don’t know. The final race from Mt Sac in May, I read in an interview with Lyles, this week, going into that race, his body was very sore from his intense training. If that is true, he more was running on instinct and raw talent, compensating running on “tired/dead legs”. From watching his videos, he has been trying to develop more strength, more to get out of the blocks quick and powerful. He also mentioned about peaking at the right time.
I believe he will be fine for the 200m, even though the competition has stiffen since 2019.

I'm not an expert on 200m running, but in most of these races he seems to be labouring slightly the last 30m or so - i.e. slowing down.
Would people say this is to do with pace control, a lack of endurance training, or just something that happens to every 200m runner?
If he could work on this, he could be another 0.2 faster in pretty much every race shown here.

Well in the 200 you are supposed to get out relaxed at 90% and build to max speed during drive phase while staying relaxed, you’d want to achieve top speed by the 100 meter mark and hopefully hold and float till the end while holding form and having high knees with good transition aka b step.
