Nice job! I’m rebuilding my engine too, and I noticed that the reed limiter blocks the passage to the "boost port" by 5mm. Maybe a spacer that moves the reed cage back 5mm would be interesting.
when you have the piston off you can grab the connecting rod and lift up and down on it, if there's any movement it will need replacing, side to side movement is normal, but up and down is not normal.
