I am using my Switch more and more handheld with OEM joycons and totally getting those controllers. I have regular switch with screen protector, but that carry case fitting your larger controllers (that I’m getting) is pretty tight.
Finally. This is what I needed for my Lite with grip. I initially bought my Lite when there was a regular shortage, but stuck with it because the buttons were larger. Neuropathy.
I have the regular switch version og switch grip and max carry case I put my JBL wireless buds and my pdp little wireless controller in the bottom center compartment ..micro xd cards and cables up top in mesh compartment..and the power adapter will fit in bottom compartment instead of the wireless controller if u prefer ...over all great grip and case ! ps my grip is also dockable ...also try you a gstory flip case for your switch you will love it !!

But what’s the point of the grip case being "dock friendly" if you need to remove the joy cons when playing docked? You would need to remove the grip case every time before docking to remove the joy cons making the dock friendly feature pointless?! Am I missing something here? 🤷♂️
I got the NeoGrip from Skull & CO and really enjoyed them, however they don't fit well in my dock, they force the front size of the dock enough for it to bend a little and it doesn't make me comfortable using it like that... have you noticed anything like that? (I should mention that I have screen protection as well so that might be part of the problem too) I do love the case too, it's super nice and sturdy. Thanks for the review!
I'm bothered by the grip case's vent holes. I wonder why Skull & Co didn't go for a more open vent structure? The other grip looks bad A though, along with that case. Very nice.

Have you had any issues with scratching or Joy-Con damage with this case? Only thing stopping me from buying.

Most people in docked play with a controller, if you use the joycons in dogface mode won't be as useful
