Hey! Great channel im watching all your vids now, what are your plans after you graduate TUJ ? Do you want to stay in japan and find work? And if so what would you be looking into? Im getting out of the navy soon and looking to use my GI bill at TUJ and live in japan for the longterm, your channel giving great insight.
Im also a navy vet and about to transfer to TUJ. I'd say the biggest thing is to gain yourself experience in whatever job you wanna get into. They look for experience the most, really doesnt matter where you get your degree. As long as you show that youre a perfect candidate for the job, as well as know Japanese, you'll increase your chances at working in Japan
Hi sorry, I stepped away from RUclips for a bit but now I’m back. Thank you for watching my videos. I’m flattered and grateful :) I went home for a bit after I graduated but now I am back for the long haul (I hope). Honestly I’m working a couple of part time jobs while studying more Japanese so that I can have a better shot at landing a good job here. If you are planning to come. Study study study. You really do need Japanese to live here. Well, to live here and be successful.
Thanks for the video! Are you still at TUJ if so is it for your Bachelors or Masters and do they help student find housing outside if campus? I’m applying to get my Master there next Fall and been wondering how they handle that lol.
Hi. Yes I’m still at TUJ. I’ll graduate in the spring. Bachelors. The school is pretty great. Admin is a little iffy at times but it’s fine. They do have an apartment hunting fair but I skipped it. I went my own route. As far as the masters course I don’t know anyone in it so I can’t speak to that. But the campus is pretty great. It’s brand new and pretty centrally located.
There are a ton of share houses in Tokyo. The one in the video is a company called Neighbors. Just google Neighbors Sharehouse Tokyo and you’ll find their site. They have a TON of properties. I’m actually about to move into a sharehouse from a company called Oakhouse. They also have tons of options. The one in the video is Neighbors Musashi Nakahara. It’s comparable time-wise to get to TUJ from there. About 55min ruclips.net/video/GtFWfQcIRmc/видео.htmlsi=u980CGazG05lap8T
