The police were very slow to arrive. There always seems a lot of them around but mostly in the wrong place. You would expect at least two to be out front where the horses are and not all in square at the same time. Come on police get your act together. If you have to be there then do a good job!

Well there were 2 choices. The first is to cause a fuss, arrest him, upset the horses and tourists ... or deescekate the situation and have him moved on in a couple of minutes.

It wasn't his hair style that gave it away. His entire 'uniform' was wrong his tunic was missing a button on the back, he was wearing HCAV Officer's tweeds, his cuffs were all wrong, he had grenadier collar badge for enlisted man, but shoulder straps for an officer. The less said about his 'bearskin' the better. Even young Frank does a better job and he's around 10.
He was just a kid having a laugh. No harm done.

How do these horses sometimes get crowded with tourists, and why do they allow this? If l was that horse, l wouldn't like it either. And why do tourists ignore the sign on the wall telling them what can happen, but they still do things? Does grabbing the reins and not reading the horse signal ear back mean a getaway? When someone gets bitten, they try and cause the poor horses what ideots

They are making a short film of some sort. The kind made for film school. Or maybe for TicToc. It’s just obviously not meant to deceive anyone into thinking it’s real. But they also obviously did not get permission to film on me litany property. That
“Hard working guards” is bit of a stretch. The only ones working hard are the horses. Having to stand still on cobblestones with 20 pounds of hardware in their mouths.
Of course they don't spend hours cleaning and polishing their uniform and preparing their mounts to look amazing - they have their servants do that for them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@@annie6413 @annie6413 I may have missed it despite the many times I've been to St John's Wood, and things may have changed since then, but I really can't recall ever seeing any horses cleaning and polishing their uniforms and preparing themselves or their riders to look amazing.
I'm sure I'd remember it, and I don't think I could have missed it ...
