MicroNeedling 👍👍 // YOUR BEST At Home SKIN DEVICE

- MicroNeedling may be your best at home skin device. Some people try Radiofrequency, HIFU, microcurrent, galvanics and LEDs. I believe these can be dangerous for many as the power output and depth of many of the DIY devices are so uncontrollable and varying. Microneedling on the other hand can be learned and individualized for those interested in taking some time to study and get to know their skin. My #1 for my patients is Anteage Growth Factor Microneedling kit. Firstly I like growth factors. Second the device is sharp and safe to use. Thirdly the solution is studied to be safe for exactly this purpose. As a bonus it is very very cost effective for the results.
NON Surgical facelifts, brow lifts and skin rejuvenation are driving aesthetic patients to practices. #wrinkletreatment #healthyskin #plasticsurgery #skintreatments #skincare

Could be nice lighting, but Bruh, look at his skin! Gorgeous.
I was thinking about the same thing.
Does he use Botox? He has pretty good movement. It's natural.
I also think he must have a very healthy lifestyle with very little, if any alcohol and no junk food etc. And being a nice person, like this good doctor, makes you beautiful inside and out.
Agree ❤️
My thought every time I watch one of his videos. #flawless
I love my Dr. Pen! Seriously ever since I started on my skincare journey a little over 6 months ago, I look almost 10 years younger!
I'm glad you posted this. My Dr. Pen just arrived today. Based on my research, this was well-reviewed. Prior to this, I was using a manual stamper. The roller was too painful for me to keep going.
What syrums do you use with it? I also have a Dr Pen but not really sure what to do?
Which Dr. Pen did you get? Thank you for sharing!

What serums do you use? and when? I 've just bought my Dr. Pen.
I have been microneedling at home on and off for the past eight years. My skin always looks amazing after the roller marks goes away. I do use a much larger needle without any numbing cream. It is painful and that is probably why I dread using it. I was never really sure when and what to apply to my skin before and after. This video really helped. Also, approximately six months ago, I purchased the pen. My eyebrows were very thin on top from taking a shaver to them when I was very young and I had to fill the spots in with pencil everyday. Since I started using it on my eyebrows (once a week) they have filled in beautifully and can go without any eyebrow pencil. Even my husband is surprised at how well this worked.
How often do you microneedle your face! thanks
May I ask what brand/type pen you use?
😍 happy for you
Shaving your hair doesn’t make it stop growing back or grow back thinner - if cutting hair did that, then cutting the hair on top of your head and shaving your legs would make your hair stop growing back as well.
Thank you for your comment! Was encouraging!!
This man's skin is flawless. Whatever he's selling I'm buying!!
Yes, love microneedling at home! Started DIY microneedling during COVID -- I deep microneedle 1x month with my Dr. Pen and .25 depth with my dermroller 1x weekly. I have changed my skin for the better. ❤
Do you do do these procedures in consultation with your doctor?
What product do you use on your skin when microneedling?

I use a derma pen depths 0.25 for nano (36 pin) with medical grade hydraulic acid every 2 weeks. Once a month I do medical at depths of 0.5 to 1.5ml (16 pins) with hydraulic acid. I drop all the actives and RetinA for a week before and after. I have seen alot of benefits. Before I had flaking skin, extremely red rosacea, uneven texture, scars, large pores. I have noticed my face feels tighter, smooth, less red, and i have a nice glow, and look well rested. I noticed the fine lines are improving I can hardly see them. I have been taking monthly pictures of progress since I started couple months ago. I use a fresh cartilage and my fingers don't touch the product.
You are gorgeous, smart and genuinely compassionate. Love listening to your post.
Thank you Terri
Dr Rajani can you please make a more in-depth video on microneedling? I started to use Dr Pen recently and it is definitely more invasive than dermarollers. There's a lot of conflicting information out there so would be great to get some proper advice. What needle length do you use on different parts of the face and body, can you microneedle around the eyes, on the neck etc.; how do you maximise the results while still staying safe, i.e. avoiding damage to the nerves, what should you use during the treatment - you've touched on it in the video, some people use vitamin C serum while others say it's unsafe. I've heard that it can help with hair growth. Can it also help with eyebrows in this case? You seem to concentrate on the facial treatments but I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on microneedling for stretch marks and cellulite. Thank you for the great content - I've been binge watching your videos over the past few days and have already made some changes to my routines/treatments
Excellent. Will do. Stay tuned
@@rajanimdskincare Thank you! Just watching your other microneedling video for some tips in the meantime 😊
I use Gin Amber Beauty's micro-needling tools and her serums. The best ever! Roll with .50 once a week and .25 roller 2-3 days a week. Avoid sun and gym the next day and don't use retinol the night I roll. Any other serums I use every day twice a day. I have not any problem and her rollers make a big difference!! Try them and love them!! 🥰
Everything I’ve researched says Micro needling should only be done 1 a month. 😮
I bought a package at my providers office. It's 3 microneedling (skin pen) with chemical peels, alternating within 4 to 6 weeks of each other. I had my 1st microneedling session, nothing infused into skin, just a heavy duty numbing cream. (is a surgical center) I wasn't as red as I thought I'd be! I was a bit pink and splotchy for 2 days, peeled a tiny bit for 2, back to normal by day 5. I loved it, I feel some of the texture that was around my nose mid cheek area is almost gone already, with just 1! I do notice some softening of my cheek lines. Can't wait to see what happens when I'm done with the whole series. My peels have always been mild pca peels and feel I like the microneedling better! It didn't hurt at all, the peels do burn feel hot.
I micro needle at home but I do it on clean skin and put on Cera Ve P.M. mixed with Retin A afterwards. I’ve seen videos of amazing results on crepe arm and stomach skin using micro needle. I’m going to give that a try. I always spray mine with alcohol when I’m finished to sanitize it. I want to get your device next. Thanks so much for your information!
Dr. R, you are actually just awesome. Thank you for wanting the best for us. The feeling is definitely mutual 😊
So nice of you. Its my pleasure. I trust it helps in your journey
Totally agree with you concerning Dr R.!! ⚡💯♥️💯⚡
I started dermarolling with Dr Rajani’s Anitage kit-it gave me confidence and peace of mind knowing the serum was high quality. I absolutely love the results. I’m 63 and dermaroll .25 weekly using the serum and .50 once weekly, too. Spider veins on chin are disappearing and the gentle peeling I get is making my skin look more even toned. Thanks Dr for the thoughtful expertise you provide your audience. Love ya!
Thank you for sharing and so glad you are enjoying it. I would love to do it twice weekly but with my travels I do it once every 2 weeks. I still love it but wish I was more vigilant. Even at every 2 weeks I get visible results. My goal this summer every week at least. Stay well and and tuned here.....enjoy!!!
so we can microneedle with the anteage serum too ?
Numbing cream scares me! As I am getting older, I have developed odd allergies and the reactions that have occurred make me hesitant to use certain things! Thank you Dr. You are the best!
Hi dr Johnny, i microneedle 6x / year with my dr.Pen, 0.5-1.0 mm. You give very important security advices! I only use high molecular weight hyaluronic acid from Cos de Baha, with hardly anything else ‘in it’. I do not use numbing cream and thanks for the warning about these creams. Hygiene and no-sun aftercare are indeed not to underestimate. But i feel secure to do this procedure on my own, being very carefully ofcoarse. Great video!
Excellent and thank you
I was paying stupid money for microneedling from a med spa until a friend sent me a DIY youtube on it and I fell into the rabbit hole!! I have the a6 Dr. Pen and I like to nanoneedle and microneedle stem cell booster, curenex, and bb glo. I love that you condone this!! I wonder if anyone in the Bay Area does the EZ gel too??? I want to try that now!!

The first time I did it was at a spa and months later after lots of reading I realized she put an oil on my face that was full of fragrance. I feel very confident doing this my self. Do your research.
Hi. Can I use the anteage micro needle serum at 1mm
I like the fact you bring awareness to allergies to the numbing cream . That’s something to point out for people to understand be more aware about that ..
Often people are unaware of the bad things that can happen. Unfortunately I m all to aware from the direct messages and emails from people with adverse events and issue. Not to scare anyone but to say....be very very careful. Everything has possible side effects.

Thank you very much for this video. I don't use anything with microneedling just wash and pat dry my face naturally then I have a a go.
Every 2 months I do at home radiofrequency device and straight away after I do dermapen, the benefits are double and I noticed that the healing process from dermapen are quicker than usual .
I really recommend to do this 2 procedures at the same time.
If you do very often radiofrequency you must do a break from it because otherwise you can destroy the collagen with too much radiofrequency.

I use the Sora once every 3-4 weeks and use moisturizer afterwards. Using sunscreen too.
Great video Dr. Rajani! I would like to hear about the Nano-needling and how often you can use it. Thank you.
I love microneedling and do it at home often. Really enjoy the freedom of a shallow needling because I can use more stuff and not be limited to hyaluronic acid (not a big fan of that over-hyped ingredient). Really like using Neogenesis Recovery with a 0.25 treatment. Have a Derminator2 for deeper medical needling with a 12-pin cartridge. Also have a Dr.Pen M8 for nano-needling (which I don't do anymore since starting on tretinoin as I don't want to irritate my skin). Also have the AnteAge package with the needling solution. Did a deeper needling two weeks ago so ready for a CN treatment now. Sometimes I just use a little roller when I just want a little deeper product penetration. I try not to use numbing cream because I don't like that cold sensation on my skin or the risk of not getting all of it off and it getting into my skin
Thanks for sharing this with our group
Which one are you using
So on another's recommendation I bought the Derminator during covid period maybe late 2020 or early 2021. I have been way too chickensh*t to use it...do you have some solid step wise instructions? I think the reservation comes from the fact I went to a clinic once for my enlarged pores (due to all the masking during pandemic) and it was quite painful even with the numbing products. Plus the sound of the device - it's certainly easier when another person is doing it but if i had to do it myself I find that quite intimidating. So my derminator is just gathering dust at the moment
Dr. Rajani, can you please come out with a microneedling pen, or possibly have some of your staff, do test runs on microneedling pens. And which ones y'all prefer the most? I know Dr. Dray did one on infrared mask, but I'd like to hear from you. Thank you! As always, great content.

Yep, I'm too afraid of scarring etc. I use the dermawand and retinol. I have really good skin, a little sagging in the jowls.
I just got a stamp. I used it for the first time yesterday. I think I like the stamp better. It has a depth control dial so that is pretty cool too.
You are correct. Rollers are AWFUL for the skin! PERIOD!
Where can you get that?

I have the stamp as well. I like that you can adjust the dial and vary the depth. You can "hear" the needles puncturing the skin. It's very clean and clear. I disliked using the roller. It hurt and was hard to maneuver.

Thanks Doc! Years ago I was using dermaroller after experiencing in treatment at office MD. Later I discover dermapen and I found more easier and precise! And my very old acne scars on my chin area fading away, not completely. But I’m happy! I use since years tretinoin OTC. Get used very well. People say it’s an invasive treatment! I strongly believe it’s not when you use brain and a good practice! Never used numbing cream to better control the feeling on my skin because I don’t want bleeding! Don’t think it’s necessary for a best result. Am I right? Much love from Italy xoxo

I usually microneedle my under eye area and forehead. Numbing cream I got from my injector, so I'm sure it's safe for me. Does it thicken skin? Could shallow depths be used around/under the eyes to help with those problem areas?
Great video! One subject you maybe forgot to mention is the sterilization of the skin before (at home) microneedling. This is also a step where some things can go wrong (e.g. forgetting this step altogether, using the wrong antiseptic or too harsh of a solution etc.) With regards to a sterile gliding agent: Most people microneedle at home due to the cost of (recurring) professional treatments. These sterile hyaluronic acid ampoules are quite expensive and hard to get, causing people to use all kinds of other, cheaper and more easily available, but non-sterile options. Maybe for regular at home use a sterile saline solution would be a better option, based on the costs and availability?
But would saline give glide to the skin ? What do you use ?
Or I wonder if glycerin is a good cheap option?

I microneedle my whole face with a .5 roller once a week and I don’t use anything before or after except alcohol to disinfect before the process. The dry feeling afterwards is uncomfortable but I developed what I believe were granulomas on my lips from getting too close with the roller and applying lip balm shortly after. It took about a month to go away so less is more for me.
what do u do after? do u rinse ur face or not do anything at all? not even removing the blood if there is any. i watched some people do this and just rinse their face in the morning. i'm currently researching bc i'm planning to do this. and i can't get the skincare recommended
You probably shouldn’t use alcohol on the skin. Just cleanse normally, and use glycolic acid toner on your face. Sterilize the roller with alcohol and let it dry. After I would apply serum. Alcohol is drying and can make your sebaceous glands over produce oil.
@@tilllemonade5877 I don’t even rinse afterwards since I don’t bleed. I use a .5 needle because there are some studies that show just the act of micro needling alone is enough to produce collagen. Turns out you don’t have to tenderize your face into a bloody pulp to get results. I don’t remember the doctor who produced these results but he has a book and it’s been referred to on RUclips by Penn Smith. But you do need to disinfect your skin with alcohol prior to dermarolling just as a clinician would if they were doing a blood draw. The alcohol is temporary.
A .5 should only be done every 4-6 weeks. Ounce a week is way too soon. That's causes granulomas . You can Cosmetic needle more offer with a .025 - .o3.
A good alternative to alcohol is hypochlorous.

Once a month I do microneedling with dr pen. I use a strong numbing cream from overseas. For slip I use something that is intended to be used for micro needling and is sterile. But I have used aloe before and while it was fine, I probably shouldn’t again because it’s not sterile. I clean my skin and wipe with alcohol to get all the numbing cream off. I had Morpheus 8 done and was not impressed. Hurt a lot since clinics can’t use strong numbing cream and it was expensive. Real expensive for what you get. But I only did one session for $800, not the 3 sessions for $2400 they recommended.
800 is great. Many are around 1400

There is more in your videos than skon care. thank ysoooo much from germany Cori
Thank you. Sometimes the Led s are not powerful enough to work
I'm new at diy microneedling and bought mirical touch up from Korea will be using the Dr. pen and I hope this doesn't scare you lol love your videos thank you!!!
I would like to know what would be apropriate to use right after the microneedling, other than growth factor and hyaluronic acid, please... I understand that microneedling is a great opportunity to inject directly something good into the skyn, and that is why it would be a sad waste to use anything that does not only help but also might damage it. Thank you very much for all the information and objectivity, you explain very well!

Most professionals say not to do it at home so interesting that you are saying to go ahead with micro needling.. I’d be too scared to ruin my face but I’ve always wanted to try on my stretch marks too
Because business is business. don't listen to them, and try it at home, you wil have greats results
I m sharing what I advise my patients but the one I have them use is the kit with roller and solution I mentioned at the beginning of the video. In this way there are no surprises, good roller, great solution and safe.

I have mix of ice pick, round, box like scars on my face.
I purchased dermastamp for microneedling.
What should be used:
1. before stamping to clean dermaroller/dermastamp and face?
2. same day on face after stamping/microneedling session?
3. next day onwards after the stamping/microneedling session?
4. Can we use Retinol/Tretinoin, Vit c, Hyaluronic acid, Glycolic acid, icing, collagen supplement etc. next day onwards after dermarolling/microneedling?
Please recommend generic products instead of something that I can get only with a certain brand.
You can suggest the brand along with the generic product.
Thanks in advance (:
Great Video!👏
What's best for marionette lines done at home
love u dr rajani..u are the best ...thanks for everything
Very welcome 👍 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
i've been microneedling once a week at 0.5-1mm depth and using retinoid and hyaluronic acid right after the procedure and never had any issues for the many months ive been doing it
You need to do it every two months, otherwise you're not letting collagen to form adequately . You'll be interfering with the inflammation cycle and deposits of collagen.
Just for optimal healing, retinoids or acids are not ideal. 1 mm should be done once or twice a month at most. Hyaluronic acid is all you need during down time and after a few days introduce vitamin c.
@@surette2012 Hi Diane, I use Tretinoin, but usually give my skin a X2 day rest before and after. Should I avoid this treatment altogether if I'm using Tret? I wonder if this is why my skin never seems to change with any treatment I try...
Thanks in advance :)
@@Elvenboadicea I say discontinue Tretinoin a week before a deep dermaroller over 0.75 mm. And wait until healed until picking tretinoin back up. A lot of people do shallow treatments like under 0.5 mm and stop 2-3 days before. Having a esthetician examine your skin and access is your best bet.

thank you Dr Jani. should i better get a pen to get better results instead od the roller?
I HATE the dermarollers...
But dermapens are amazing.
I use the Nira laser and tripolar stop with consistency yes they work 🙏
I use the Derminator2 with 1-1.5mm
I have just started getting back into micro needling at home. I stopped last fall because my skin was getting irritated and dry. I did use a roller and Anteage microneedling solution. I am still using Anteage solution. My question is if I keep to .25 needles and am using microneedling strictly for product absorption , can I return to regular skin care routine the night after I microneedle? I know when using deeper needles or getting it done in a professional setting-best to wait 5 to 7 days before and after treatment to start using active ingredients again. Thanks!
This is great information! Can you use this with a laser like the Nira? What do you think of the Nira laser?
Thanks for this useful video!!! I bought a dermaroller although I still have to find "courage" to use it. I'm 38 and still don't have wrinkle however I want to improve my skin. I was thinking of using it in winter due to sensitive skin after using it... I m happy I watched this video before using dermaroller🤣! I wanted to ask you: can I use salicylic acid in summer? Can I alternate it with retinol?
Thank you for another great advice, what is the best/ safest product/ ingredient to use during microneedling for slippery purposes?
So handsome I can’t resist him 😍
I use Velatox. What do you think about products approved by KFDA.?
The question Im always looking for to be answered in your derma rolling videos is how many needles need to be on the derma rollers 192 or 540 needles
I couldn't do the microneedling at home bc i would prob have the bad luck of getting a granuloma and i hear they are hard to treat if not impossible. yikes.
Thank you dear DR Rajani for keeping us up to date with all the beuty tips.
Could you please give us feedback on endermolift?
Many thanks.
Regards from Belgium-Brussels
Thanks. I m not a big fan of it
@@rajanimdskincare there's no result? I'm 36 years old, young looking, but I would like some collagen production, skin tigtening and little cheek/eyebrow lifting.
Can you give me some advice please?
Many thanks,

Hello Dr. Rajani! Could u do a video or a quick story on the skin pen?? Thanks so much!!

Your videos are awesome.

Hi doctor. Can I micro needle the anteage home serum at a deeper depth of 1mm
Im planning to take it for my scalp to enhance hair growth.. is it suitable and safe?
Hi Dr Rajani, can you do an updated video on the best way to microneedle at home?
I did one last week. Search....rajani dermaroller
@@rajanimdskincare thank you :)
Thanks for your advices! I love them. How frequently can I use microneedle therapy (3 mm) at home?
If I use this without the GF will it still be beneficial?
Was hoping you would give us brand products we can buy to use for microneedling
Yes! That would be very helpful. Also, please include products from different price points. Not all of us can afford high end for everything. Thank you, Dr Rajani! Your videos are super helpful and informative!
I did. At the very beginning so as not to waste the time of those wanting the bottom line. I shared my #1 that I recommend to my patients
SO helpful! Thank you for this! Do you deliver your products to the UK? Xx
Very welcome. No UK delivery unfortunately
Great!! i'm planning using dermaroller (0,25mm) maybe once every 2 weeks, and I was wondering If it's a good idea to put on a Niacinamide 10% serum after it. The serum I have is "B-bomb" from the brand "Geek & Gorgeous". Oh, and is it ok to put it also under the eyes area??. Thank you Doc! ;-)
