I had a board certified plastic surgeon perform this surgery despite the fact it was wrong for me and my problem, & he was overly aggressive in some areas thinning areas out drastically. I had extensive stretch marks so the liposuction, after a 100lb weight loss , left me with loose skin that hung over my belly button. When I searched for a surgeon to fix it I chose the doctor who threatened not to perform the skin lifting surgery because I was interested in a few too many procedures. He told me I persisted , he would not operate on me but send me to a psychiatrist because that would be far more beneficial & people that people believing that if only the had whatever procedures they'd be happy never are & keep coming back for more but it isn't their appearance that needs treating but their minds. He also told me when I asked about implants when I weighed 110 at 5'7 " my chest disappeared. He asked me if I'm always going to have an extra 5k to get an implant replaced that deflates, ruptures or leaks and sit costs the same to do 1 breast as does 2 . He suggested I gain some weight or buy a padded bra. I use to say Wolfram Gottschalk , his real name , was the only ethical plastic surgeon in Oregon but I'm similarly impressed with Dr. Rajani , who may be the only ethical plastic surgeon in Oregon since Dr. Gottschalk sadly passed years ago.
I wish my Mom was still here. She would have ADORED you Dr. Rajani! She had some work done on her face years ago, like a chemical peel, face lift etc ontop of already taking good care of her skin...she took excellent care of her skin.( Man I miss her) but she SO would've bought ANYthing that you had to offer, sell, etc because you sir are what most plastic surgeons are not these days & that is this. Should I clean it in the last step before using with water ? Because when the alcohol is the last step on the roller, its to defensive for the skin maybe?
Hot tap water can recontaminate the roller. It is better to boil water then use half the boiled water to submerge the head completely into the sanitized water for several seconds and then poor the remainder of the sanitized water out over the head as a second cleaning.
I finally had the courage to try microneedling at home during this lockdown. So glad i did. Will definitely be a staple in my beauty routine from now on.

After rinsing in warm water, I like to put rubbing alcohol in the needle roller's container where the roller head lays. Put the the top on and shake the rubbing storage container to disperse all that alcohol into the roller head. Open the container, pour out the alcohol, and let the head air dry completely before storing.
At 67, dermarolling for a year caused my skin to look like a cracked, weathery drought land. I had to do 13 TCA peels to get rid of all the dead skin piled up, but my skin looks great now. Don't think I'll dermaroll again.

I'm 27 years old. I believe in taking care of myself, and a balanced diet and a rigorous exercise routine. In the morning, if my face is a little puffy, I'll put on an ice pack while doing my stomach crunches. I can do a thousand now. After I remove the ice pack, I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower, I use a water activated gel cleanser. Then a honey almond body scrub. And on the face, an exfoliating gel scrub. Then apply an herb mint facial mask, which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an aftershave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion.

I ordered this product and so excited about starting this treatment! I have a couple of questions: after 20 uses of roller use, do I dispose of the roller in a sharps container or regular trash bin? Does the growth factor get washed off after 2 hours? Can makeup be used after regular skin care product application, post use?
I will also comment here. I'm caucasion male, i used fake 0.5 mm dermaroller on my forehead around 8 times. Always used alcohol to clean it. But i did not use sunscreen after dermarolling but i never got sunburns. Never used exfoliator or serums. After a while i developed hyperpigmentation all over my forehead where i used it. looks like melasma. I had 8 laser therapies and still hasnt disappeared. So weird, havent found or heard of similar problem. Any advice?

As much as I love retinoids (in my case, Retin-A), Anteage is a game changer. I use the growth factor even when not microneedling.

@@AndYourLittleDog I do it four times a week, diagonally each way, vertically, horizontally. Only using .25 Retin A, so no irritation. YMMV!

I will also comment here. I'm caucasion male, i used fake 0.5 mm dermaroller on my forehead around 8 times. Always used alcohol to clean it. But i did not use sunscreen after dermarolling but i never got sunburns. Never used exfoliator or serums. After a while i developed hyperpigmentation all over my forehead where i used it. looks like melasma. I had 8 laser therapies and still hasnt disappeared. So weird, havent found or heard of similar problem. Any advice?

I've tried using it a couple of times but each it is quite uncomfortable, in fact very itchy. Upon pulling a sticker on the packaging i see that the needles are 1mm. Do you think it is the needle size that is causing the itchiness?
