My grandparents and mum lived here they had a chemist shop and my grandfather offered a photograph developing service as well to make extra money they left in the sixties thank goodness they would never believe how it’s changed if they were still alive 😔

I went there yesterday for round 2 with my GoPro this time. Not many shops were opened, I don't know if they are definitively closed down. I am definitely going to take your advice because I realised that some people are not happy at all that I film certain areas...

You will find that these particular areas are very territorial and unless you beling to their community you risk being abused or driven out. They are VERY suspicious of strangers.
I lived in Leamington Rd, off Ladypool Rd, (Imran Tyres now but it was a Pork Butchers before) until I was about 3 years old. My mother insisted we leave and we moved out to Cofton Common near to where my father worked at the Austin.. I'm so glad we did 😂

Hello Shoeb, yes because Moseley is quite large and this neighbourhood is closer to Balsall Heath (which is another district of Birmingham)

Last time I ventured on foot down Ladypool road was to visit VJ Richards the TV shop in 1979. How times changed. The majority of that rubbish is commercial waste which is not removed by the council and the shop proprietor has to pay to have removed. Looking at all the black bins sitting on the side of the road and adjacent to council litter bins I would suggest that this is commercial waste. Council enforcement officers need to patrol this area identify and prosecute the offenders. I guess that this road will not be part of the commonwealth games marathon nor road race then. Disgraceful..

Myself and my husband lived in a bed sit in strensham road years ago , I would sit at the window which was upstairs and my husband would sit behind me , and when the men slowed down by my window and , well , you know , my lovely husband would jump up and scare them off 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
