The fact that skateboard p actually wrote that hook, you gotta put him in the top 5 rapper/producers. Not just cause that hook, he also thought of one of the best acronyms in hip hop S. N. I. T. C. H. That maybe elevators remix is also fire and he got a bunch of other hooks and verses that fire. That dilla/madlib album champion sound is also dope, we gotta get quasi back in the booth. To long a statement but you're right it needs rephrasing as much as police need a re-brand badly
Why? "Defund the Police" is a slogan, not legislation. Politicians need to finesse the actual policy, people just need to vocalize their feelings.
Mike is on point when he talks about how the specifics of police reform need to be addressed- but doesn't seem to realise that people have been refining the police for generations- its a very complex system and takes A LOT of refinement and learning from experience- the idea that just rebuilding from the bottom up and forgetting all of that past wisdom is going to lead to different outcomes is very very misguided
