What about them. The Mars family happened to source cocoa beans from a third party source which utilizes child labor due to either lax or nonexistent child labor laws. While the Mars corporation should’ve been more diligent about where they source their cocoa, it’s not like they personally used child labor. And after the story got out, they ceased businesses with that company.
@@henrylivingstone2971 They are actively enabling and perpetuating this inhumane behavior. It simply cannot be justified, as ultimately the only thing that matters to them is profit.

How are they enabling it? They stopped their business ties with the child labor companies. Of course engaging in a company with unethical child labor practice is abhorrent but it’s not like the Mars company did it themselves. Also, “the only thing matters to them is profit”….of course it is! They’re business people! That’s their job!
Look at how carefully the founder of Mars was in distributing the goods of his many recipees until one of them was bought more by consumers and became Maras and then Mars. Brian Tracy would have liked that story, because for him, this is the way to start a buisness. Anything else in the aftermath, such as family disputes, is beside the point.
A bit sad. From no family connections to cheap ways with charity and the food eating issues with their kids. But some of their habits to reach to the billions are impressive.
