    Thank you again, this video is exactly what I needed see. The past 2 weeks my productivity has been slowing down until its come to a complete halt the past few days. It feels kind of bad because I feel like I've wasted all that irreplaceable valuable time.. and now I have to re-build the previous momentum I had going from ground zero. I guess I'll try to structure my schedule for consistency and apply the tips you've given and hope for the best as well as accept that I may not be able to do everything I wanted to do in time for boards. Appreciate this vids as always, thanks

    I have a very physical cleaning job, and put in 10,600 steps in 8 hours yesterday. My workload has significantly increased in the past 3 weeks, and now I am afraid that it is just going to continue to increase, and my anxiety has been a lot higher (and my OCD has gotten worse because of it). I feel depressed because I cab exactly quit my job without risking losing my finances. Since almost every business owner doesn't like to put enough staff on in a shift, I know that I probably won't get away from this problem, which just increases my anxiety and depression. I seriously felt like throwing in the towel yesterday saying to myself, "Screw this! I need to start working for myself and sell art!" But that doesn't mean that it will sell. And so here I am, looking for a becon of hope, while trying to fake being positive at work.

    Hi Santiago I hope you're doing well, I stumbled upon ur channel when I was searching about burnout, I have finals in like 15 days and I'm absolutely have no motivation what's so ever it's my final year...I'm so devastated and overwhelmed when I sit down to study my mind just think about the exam and how bad I will do because I remember nothing and because of how much I think about that I get the worst headache ever and I just can't focus, I feel so bad like all my hard work will be lost and I'm just watching it go downhill

    Hey brother Santiago. I'm confused. You said teaching is what made you score high in the usmle but in the interview you mentioned doing lots of questions was the secret. so which one is it? The Feyman technique or doing questions.

    • @SantiagoAQ
      @SantiagoAQ  3 года назад +3

      My study method was doing questions (and IMO is the the best use of your time regarding prep) I emphasized that in the PDFs attached in the google drive link of the video “What really got me to the 99th percentile”. Having said that, the point I tried to make was that a lot of people study in the exact same way I did but get different scores. Why that happens is partially explained by differences in IQ and Conscienciousness, but that leaves a 0,4-0,6 variance unaccounted for, which in my case I think is explained by the fact that I taught a lot in medschool and I learned by layers. In other words, the video tried to address what underlying factors make for a great score besides your study technique, that’s why I didn’t touch on any particular method during the video, it wasn’t the point. Though I tried to be explicit with my method via the PDFs

      I periodized that too hah, during the easier parts of my prep I took a day off every couple of weeks / every week depending on how tired I was. In the toughest cycles (14+ hours a day) I took up to 3 days a week off
