Our planet is vast. It is difficult to comprehend the scale. It is difficult too to comprehend the scale of humanity and the vast changes we've wrought in a lifetime.
Population, production and consumption have grown exponentially. Roads, railways, airlines, shipping routes. The digital revolution. We've created a globally interconnected society. Evidence is mounting we've entered the Anthropocene.
Humanity is altering Earth's life support system. Carbon dioxide emissions are accelerating. Greenhouse gas levels are unprecedented in human history. The climate system is changing rapidly.
The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change assesses the risks and options for societies.
Its latest report states it is extremely likely humans are the dominant cause of warming in the past 60 years.
Without deep emissions cuts, it is likely Earth will cross the target of two degree Celsius above pre-industrial levels. The target set by international policy. This could happen as early as 2050.
If emissions keep rising at current rates, a four-degree rise by 2100 is as likely as not. This marks a vast transformation of our planet.
It is very likely heatwaves will occur more often and last longer.
The Arctic will warm faster than the global average. It is likely sea ice will all but vanish in summer within decades if high emissions continue. It is very likely sea-level rise will accelerate. Cities and coastal areas are vulnerable.
In general, wet regions are set to get wetter, dry regions drier. Monsoons are likely to become longer, their footprint likely to grow and downpours likely to intensify.
The acidity of the ocean has increased 26% since the start of the industrial revolution.
The full consequences of all these changes on the Earth system are unknown.
Humanity's carbon footprint is huge. Societies will need to adapt to climate change. The scale of change depends on decisions made now.
Can we remain below two degrees? It is possible. But it is up to societies now to decide the future we want. For a likely chance of achieving the two-degree target, societies can emit another 250 billion tonnes of carbon.
We burn about 10 billion tonnes of carbon a year.
At current rates we will use this budget in about 25 years.
That ticking clock ending though. Actually pretty intense.
This is an excellent video, full of good visuals information.
and we wonder why aliens never visit us
they never left
We already have carbon negative energy sources.... not just neutral like solar, wind, geothermal, hydroelectric, tidal, wave, ...nuclear-even... and, when processed in the most common way biomass is (corn-for-ethanol). We just need to start growing the right crop-types (self seeding perennials with high hydrogen density and fast harvest-rate (like switchgrass & miscanthus)... and processed in such that they're gasified via pyrolysis. Not only do these remove carbon, not only do they lock it into a molecularly stable for for over a century, but they also help to increase yields and, more importantly, when the biochar product produced from this is added to the soil, it ends up removing 3x more carbon in its promotional growth than it itself keeps removed. None of the other 'renewables' can say this. ... as well, very few other more-technological approaches. This works, is being done now, and integrates quite nicely into our current infrastructure. We could not just be carbon neutral, but carbon negative, as a planet, in a very short order, and, with an aggressive approach, bring atmospheric carbon levels down to 250ppm (or where they were at the start of the industrial revolution) by 2050.... and all for less money in initial investment than Apple made in profits-alone in QE4 on just their iphone sales.
I could give a tip that would save lots and lots carbon emissions: cut down your animal product consumption, specially dairy and meat, to half. The livestock industry is the number one polluter in the world, the main cause of deforestation and an enormous waste of resources: energy, water, land and agricultural produce.
See the UNEP's report "Assessing the environmental impacts of consumption and production"
So much easier to worry about OTHER methane... *sigh*
I had a real eye opener the other night watching Harrison Fords programme about climate change.
Fantastic programme! and I never realised how critical the forrests were in places like Borneo Indonesia for soaking up carbon.
Especially the peat underneath the forrest floor.
One thing I am abimant about now is to stop logging of Forrests in Borneo by not buying Indonesian Palm Oil of Indonesian made paper products.
I never realised Indonesia was cutting down virgin forrest to replant with palm oil trees or trees for paper manufacture.
So our family will be on the lookout for these products next time we shop!!!!

Awesome visual graphic illustration, SPREAD THE WORD!!
This is a very interesting video showing current thoughts on climate change and visually showing the confidence level with each statement. For such a polarizing topic, I think this video does a great job of keeping emotion out of it.
and Interesting and somewhat scary information on the future climate of the Earth.
Even if the entire planet agreed to change NOW, its still too late. Entire huge and complicated systems would have to be completely redone; transportation, energy, infastructure, governments, factories and farms, EVERYTHING would be affected. Who is going to pay for it? Who is going to build it? Humans are currently just too damn complacent. Its going to take a global calamity until people react.
A couple things i would have said differently.
1)The IPCC introduction at 0:56 should have gone like this: "The IPCC, an independent body created by the UN and composed of hundreds of scientists from 195 different countries which reviews the research of thousands of climate scientists from across the globe, assesses the changes..."
Some people don't understand the scope of the IPCC. This addition to the narration clears up any ambiguity about who the IPCC represents and what it does. The IPCC is not a "progressive/left conspiracy", it is composed of scientists and officials representing almost every gov't and type of gov't. Because of how large it is an how much over site is involved in its reports they tend to err on the side of caution, despite what deniers would like to believe.
2) Following from the last point, it would have been good to add that many scientists believe that a 2C increase is wishful thinking. Our lack of action has pushed us up into the 4C model. Even oil industry experts are preparing for a 4-6C increase.
www.dailykos.com/story/2015/05/17/1385496/-Shell-Oil-Caught-Planning-for-Deadly-4-to-6-Degree-Rise-in-Global-Temperature#
3) I like that the increase in ocean acidity was mentioned! But i would have put in a quick sentence describing the interplay of a hotter ocean on global warming; something like, " As the ocean's temp increases it's ability to hold heat decreases; leading to an acceleration of atmospheric warming".
4) The cost of inaction.
Other than those few points i like this vid.
Iron Charioteer The IPCC is composed of corrupt politicians who ignore what honest scientists say, and write conclusions that then must be injected into the original science report.
Using "Climate Change" as a meme is itself a deceitful approach. Climate always changes and always has. Ooo-oo, man comes along and suddenly climate changes? Think again.
When one lead IPCC scientist went to lunch with fellow scientists and found them talking about bending the numbers to make them look worse, he couldn't believe what he was hearing. Fraud! A number of scientists have resigned because of this fraud. One even had to take the UN to court to get his name removed from their fake "consensus."
Science is never, ever done by consensus. That was supposed to have ended with Copernicus and Galileo.
And the worst part of this corruption is that Global Warming is good, and the United Nations is pushing for cooling -- IN THE MIDDLE OF AN ICE AGE! Dumb! Just try to grow crops when the Holocene suddenly ends.
Rod Martin, Jr. Uh, no... The IPCC is composed of the worlds leading climate scientists. There are NO scientific orgs, agencies, or societies anywhere in the world that are not part of the climate consensus. I'll prove it right now.

If you deniers want to challenge that consensus then you need to start doing Primary Research and submit it for peer-review in prestigious climate science journals. But you don't want to do that; you would rather skip the scientific process and push your argument to the unwashed and uneducated masses because you know you don't have a scientific leg to stand on.
Now, if you don't have primary research by actual climate scientists published in prestigious peer-reviewed journals, just take your nut-nut conspiracy theories over to your Tea Party idiot friends.
Rod Martin, Jr. all over YT you are spreading your ignorant nosnense , and in each comment section you get your arse handed to you by people that are actually informed.

This video, while cool, wasn't enough alarming and scary. Should have been longer with more warnings, facts and analysis about what's coming.
Wow, i agree, and its scary that people still think it no doesnt exist.
JBWhiskey More alarm so we can push governments into cooling the planet? What a cool idea. We can end the Holocene early and plunge the world into the next glacial phase of the current Ice Age.... Too cool for me.
I'd like to see a lot more Global Warming. With compassion, help move people to higher ground when the sea rises (and it's not rising very much, lately -- only 1-2 cm per year at most).
The only other potential problem is a possible shutdown of the thermohaline cycle in the ocean from ice melting too quickly, like what happened with the start of the Younger Dryas. But we can stir up the oceans to keep that from happening.
With warming, we can see an end of deserts, end of strong storms, and have more plants, more food, more life.
I wish CO2 was linked to Global Warming, but if you look at the satellite data, instead of the fudged Climate-Gate data, you'll see that temperature does NOT follow the steady increase in CO2.

A far more likely reason for observed climate change can be found in the Svensmark study. Now, that's science minus the big money corruption.
Excellent video. Thank you.
very useful! thanks for sharing
We're never gonna get anywhere if the governments don't push alternatively-powered vehicles instead of the outdated gas cars the majority of the world is still using. We already can deduce most of the information in this video. Hell, even all the people who don't use gas cars right now aren't helping enough. The oil companies are still reeling in the cash. The world won't push electric cars and green alternatives until its already too late. Honestly it's futile.
Superb!
Very helpfull to help comprehend what the probable outcomes are

They didn't explain why their model Earth was rotating backwards, nor did they include the sun in their model, and they assume the co2 just sits around in the atmosphere and not get used by plants.
To answer these questions they didn't include the sun in the model because sore output has actually been going downhill since the 1950s. www.sws.bom.gov.au/Educational/2/3/1 . There's a link to a solar output graph. And they didn't mention plants because they're not making a huge difference as you can see from the CO2 graph, www.co2levels.org/ . I have no answer for it or model but was rotating backwards. But it appeared to me like the camera was moving instead of the Earth but that's just speculation on my part. I hope that answers up some of these questions from 5 years ago.
How people can still sit around and act like we're not huge culprits is beyond me.
If only the IPCC's climate simulations were as professionally done as this graphical simulation. Google for "hockey stick found in NOAA ice core data" to see the bigger picture...

Pienso que es momento de crear conciencia sobre los efectos del cambio Climatico y cuanto podriamos hacer somos nosotros quienes influimos sobre el actual estado y debemos Actuar es hora.
Time for a change? Overtime!!
First thank you d.ahmed for this importint video .
The main problem is the carbon dioxied if we get back the tree and the forst we had take i think it should be decreases the level of it .
And if we use the pure power of the sun ,the wind ,( the water flow ,waterfall, dams) , and the geostrophic power that we make some holl in the ground and put a pie in it and drop the water and get water vibor and let the majek of torben machien start and thank agien
godzilla had a stroke trying to read this and fucking died
"Will society change?" haha no, we suck
Practice what you preach.
The Keystone XL Pipeline is a proposed 1,179-mile (1,897 km), 36-inch-diameter crude oil pipeline beginning in Hardisty, Alta., and extending south to Steele City, Neb. This pipeline is a critical infrastructure project for the energy security of the United States and for strengthening the American economy.
Along with transporting crude oil from Canada, the Keystone XL Pipeline will also support the significant growth of crude oil production in the United States by allowing American oil producers more access to the large refining markets found in the American Midwest and along the U.S. Gulf Coast.
As John Holdren said recently, no single climate event can either prove or disprove global warming!
Thanks for not including New Zealand in this.
Also, take "likely" with a grain of salt. A lot of things are likely. Like we were "likely" to have a super active hurricane season this year....but we had what, one? These are the same people who have now resorted to actually naming winter storms since the big tropical ones are on vacation. Gotta have their hype, one way or another.
They have set percentages for all estimations, do they not?
had the biggest hurricane (also called typhoon) recorded in human history to ever make landfall in the philippines this year right after the worst cyclone to hit india happened. sorry mate, the us got a break this year, unfortunately the rest of the world didnt.
Anamol Bisht
the world=usa, noob. nobody cares about some island in the middle of the atlantic
Anamol Bisht One. You said it yourself. One. Is that not what I said? We had ONE. *eyeroll* Why does everyone assume when I say "we" I mean Americans? I mean us. Humanity. The world.

but not the jews, right?
Life affects climate through its role in the carbon and water cycles and such mechanisms as albedo ,evapotranspiration, cloud formation , and weathering . Examples of how life may have affected past climate include : glaciation 2.3 billion years ago triggered by evolution of oxygenic photosynthesis ,glaciation 300 million years ago as hered in by ling term burial of de composition resistant detritus of vascular land plants.
Another aspect of climate change that hasn't been talked about in this beautiful visualization, is desertification and its predicted spread. Some answers may well be found in Allan's TED talk: www.ted.com/talks/allan_savory_how_to_green_the_world_s_deserts_and_reverse_climate_change
We missed the chance, RIP earth.
Our children will be proud.
It just snowed in Cairo for the first time in over a hundred years and the record for lowest temperature ever was recently set in Antarctica at -135.8 degrees Farenheit.
The earth is spinning in the wrong direction in the video, giving one confidence in what it presents as science.
The subject is relevant. The message should be good. But, the music is too loud, the narration too soft. The message is lost.
so strange that nobody is panicking ... a few more years and K- Boom!
water vapor is the most insulating gas in our atmosphere. what year did we start flying jet aircraft? we have all seen the long streaks in the sky made by these jet aircraft, they are man made clouds essentially. these streaks trigger growth and spread out along the current of air, making the entire sky hazy. the general effect is more insulation in the atmosphere bottling in more heat. i wonder if carbon emissions are really the cause for this trend. i am not in favor of carbon tax as it is just a scam to guilt people out of their money and that does not fix anything. it just becomes a cost of admission than a real deterrent. we have all the laws in place to keep pollution under control, the problem is we let the EPA swap board members back and forth between the very corporations it is meant to regulate and massive corruption has taken over. regulations are now used as a weapon against general electrics competitors ans so forth. these laws and taxes will be side stepped by these very powerful entities no matter what we try to do. if you want to save the environment, sorting out your trash will not do it, guilt tripping people who have a larger vehicle than you will not do it, asking for more taxes and laws will not do it. we have a symptom here of a much larger problem, out of control government that no longer has the best interests of the people or the planet at heart. we need a revolution to occur in every major country and a new system that is not going to be co-opted by the powerful few at the expense of the many. so my point is that you can buy an electric car or ride a bike and so on, but that will not change the fact that the factory downtown is going to dump its waste into the river even though it is illegal and the authorities know damn well it is going on but they do nothing about it.
+LilTigerette K
there is no such thing as free energy.
and can you tell me wich GMO you think is deathly? so far not a single GMO has ever been found o be deathly..
good video ,but we so many problems ..fix the fukashima radiation ,improve diasater preparedness,etc..
Yeah that's all supported if we maintain the same output model for 100 more years. Why do these people almost never seem to mention that science and technology improve over time. Do people still seriously think that cars will still burn an average of 20 miles to the gallon, if we are still even using cars? You don't think there will be any breakthroughs in the solar industry, or wind, or cold fusion, or geothermal? I do, and that's why I tend to not take these videos seriously.
Methane release is not even mentioned in this shallow examination.
What is this video supposed to be for? What is it really for?
First let's stop flying (ourselves and out of season foods) around the globe. Choose local food and start a veg garden. Plant an orchard if you have land. Get chickens. Get a bike, we go to the gym to waste our effort when we could be walking, cycling and gardening.
There could be casualties: Big food, big pharma (we'd be healthy!), big transport. . but we care about them as much as they care about us.
Someone needs to translate this into Chinese to do any good.
China puts out less than half of the U.S.'s greenhouse emissions per capita and has already cornered the global photovoltaics market. They're taking this far more seriously than we are.
in the Long Run, we are all dead...
Welcome to the Anthropocene. This is a powerful visualization showing the multiple impacts of a planet getting warmer because of human actions. There is so much that we can do and should do to steer away from fossil fuels and towards clean energy.
climate change may refer to a change in average weather conditions,or in the time variation of weather around longer_term average condition . the climate change is caused by factors such as volcanic eruptions and solar radiation .certain human activites have also been identified as significant causes of recent climate change ,often referred to as global warming
The good news about global warming is that it’s not being caused by increasing solar output or any other natural uncontrollable cause - and also that mankind generally understands that it’s the ‘amplified greenhouse effect’ which is the source of increasing global temperatures. With this in mind, it behooves us to rapidly advance and apply our scientific and technological knowledge to the point that the burning of fossil fuels to produce electricity will become as antiquated as the burning of whale oil for light.
Quote: “Anxiety must go. It must be replaced by faith and solemn confidence in the outworking of the divine plan.”
Note: As sunlight (photons) is warming the surface of the world, surface heat energy is also radiating away from our planet in the form of ‘infrared radiation’ which passes freely thru the atmospheric gases of nitrogen and oxygen which do not absorb heat. Indeed, if it weren’t for greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide that ‘do interact’ strongly with infrared energy and ‘impede the escape’ of Earth’s radiant heat, then the planet would be perpetually frozen solid. Thankfully, even though greenhouse gases comprise only 4/10ths of one percent of the atmosphere, they are so powerful that they maintain a ‘blanketing effect’ by constantly ‘absorbing and releasing’ infrared heat energy over and over, again and again. In doing so, they gyrate wildly, thus causing them to vigorously collide with other atmospheric molecules which, in turn, collide with other air molecules, imparting the kinetic energy of motion throughout the atmosphere - and this vibratory state registers as temperature.

Very cool video, and scary as hell if you think about it. What is scarier is that people still don't seem to be taking it seriously, there is no serious decision making going on about what to do in the future in terms of alternative energy sources. If something happens and we lose the global grid without any backup plan for the masses, it will be chaos.
We need species-wide life extension. If we don't make people (especially rich people) live substantially longer they won't care about a future 20-50-100 years from now. Only by developing treatments for making humans live 150-200+ years do we grow the required long term incentives to start planning. We MUST get rid of short term thinking.
The terrible thing is that Anthropogenic global warming is/was a real phenomenon, but the culprit was not carbon, but CFCs. The United States is the single largest consumer of CFCs, not for domestic use, but for the massive refrigerant power needed to cool facilities used in the making of nuclear bombs
well we dont appreciate a lesson until it is in our face.. perhaps humans demise is inevitable..
Not to sound selfish but these videos need to stop making it sound like it will effect me. I'm in my 30s already. Sweet, born just in time.
I can't decide which is more depressing: Human caused climate change or the willfully ignorant regurgitations of those who think it's a farce.
This is quite the dramatic video.
Humans like to think they're sooooo great. Well, I've seen something on tv showing that billions of years ago, there was already a complex system of a lot of different species of plants and animals. They all vanished at some point. If they didn't, we wouldn't even exist. Why can't humans just let nature do its job (what we do is part of nature) and just be ok that we won't be there forever? It's like everyone is desperately trying to hold on to something that will slip away eventually anyway. Let's just live and see what nature wants with the world.
What are you talkin about, I seriously can't understand with the pointed his comments trying to get across. I'm not even trying to be mean I just don't understand what you're saying.
Why is the earth rotating in the wrong direction at the beginning of the video? Scientific indeed.
we'r done
nuce Video
What if these changes have doubled
That will be more dangerous and destructive
Mustafa Kamil I care about the planet, too, but warming is good. Cold is bad. After all, we're still in an Ice Age.
Try growing crops in the snow when the Holocene suddenly ends.
So much pollution, contamination, and environmental damage by non-natural gases out there, which we all want to see cleaned up, but all everybody talks about is the weather.
I hope the Earth's climate continues to warm so things can be like they were before the Ice Age LGP. The Ice Age LGP is what almost killed all the early humans in Africa, leading to widespread trauma and psychopathy within our species. This near extinction ultimately led to the rise of civilization and the creation of industrial technology. May the pluvial earth heal us of our neurological disorder so we can return to our natural habitat. Wetlands and beaches are our natural habitat according to the Aquatic Ape Theory.
Is this video available in Spanish?
greenhouse gas levels unprecedented in human history
I felt like I was at Epcot watching this.
Number of Global Warming people selling their cars, quitting their jobs and growing their own food: yeah - I thought so.
C Dob Good things it's the responsibility of the politicians and not yours. Otherwise you'd have to do something. Yeah, politicians have a long and rich history of doing the right thing. I bet you're on the right track.
C Dob Yes, it is your responsibility to delegate responsibility to others. I think that's a fine idea. Surely politicians never lie or break promises. And since you've delegated responsibility to others you're now absolved from any culpability. Any failure to act is not a failure of yours; it's a failure of others. I say keep your car, buy fast food and believe in politicians - DO YOUR PART.
bobbygnosis What this comment has to do with the question of whether global warming is occurring or not: yeah - I thought so.
C Dob The Super Powers both current and emerging rely on fossil fuels to continue their economic and geopolitical might. How convenient that nations are being told not to use fossil fuels, to pay taxes to the UN, IMF, World Bank for the green fund, whilst all the time those that promote the green issues are actually planning on using fossil fuels on an unprecedented scale to build their economies.

Wtf are "global warming people"? People who read science articles and know how to analyze data? People who care? People who think about long-term consequences instead of just the day to day?
Seriously. Fuck off.
Each individual has the responsibility to make some kind of effort. If you don't feel like contributing to the betterment of our world, then you're a piece of shit.
PS: I sold my car, eat less meat, donate, volunteer and do my fking best every day. So there, you now know 1 person who tries.
Earth. Spinning. Backwards. Can't get past it.
It is sad that this is all happening and you have a good chunk of one of the most powerful countries on Earth not only denying it and going back to the old "going into ice age" argument but they say basically "oh it was cold this winter climate change doesn't exist".
This graphic has the world turning in the wrong direction...... lol!
haha quarantine geography go brrrrr
If we could find a way to pay a global warming tax I know we could solve this highly debatable issue.
are you serious? you must trust known liars and thieves to the point of granting them even more power to steal from you. boy, if only there was a way we could just throw more money into the furnace making the rich richer. that will teach us scumbag civilians for merely existing in the world those people have created for us. the everyday person on the street is not the problem, it is the ruling class and their corporations operating above the law that is the problem, handing them more of your hard earned money will not change a damn thing. maybe the media will start telling you it is working, but it is all just propaganda at the end of the day.
albert einstein
no, I wasn't serious and I agree with you except it is the everyday person that will ignorantly buy into this ploy to give up more of their freedoms. These "everyday people" can't wait to be ruled over. They want the gov't to give them jobs, food, shelter, entertainment and will line right up for you and me to pay this coming carbon tax.
WAIT the Earth rotates to the East! Did any scientists see the movie before it's release?
Could it be that the images used were sourced from a satellite in West to East orbit?

No. I reckon scientists had NOTHING to do with the making of this film...
greed vs. selflessness. that's how it's always been for the human race
Hey guys! I'll see you around :)
this made more understand about climate system change , I like the sentence said "at humanity is altering slight"
Thank you Dr. Ahmed to make us see this wonderful Thread
abbas Hameed Thank you Mr. Abbas
Of course now is warmer since 16-17th century, but cooler than 9-11th century. Those middle ages was warmer than present times.

that is sea surface temps only....
Aanthanur DC Sea is more important... over 2/3 of Earth.
tom jack
no, we are talking about the global average temperature.
you said it was warmer in the middle ages, it was not. had you said, the ocean suface temperature was warmer, ok, but you didn't
Assuming oil doesn't run out by 2100? I'm sure we'll find a better way to generate energy. The oil companies will try and put a stopper on it though.
i think your date projections are way off. every day the process is accelerating more and more and more pollution keeps coming nonstop. 50 years it could be uninhabitable, you never know!
How the heck did they miss that the earth spinns in the other direction?
2:46 watch a hurricane (path it took; it had to be Andrew) slam into new orleans. Looking at it in the context of the globe it looks rather insignificant
The Earth is spinning in the wrong direction in the video.
One way, or another, living creatures will adapat.
My big Q is: what is the UN doing about this?
but still there are people not believing this fact.
Why does the carbon dioxide increase LAG the temperature increase, as shown by the Vostok ice core data?
What we're doing can't have an analog in the ice-cores, for those we're 5-times outside natural variation for the Pleistocene already, max was 305±5-ppm for 180-280-ppm variance = 9%, at 405-ppm it's 45% variation.
There's nothing like it in the geologic record, it's such a heavy carbon load the oceans are acidifying 10-times faster than the PETM, hardly trivial.
There are much larger variations than 100s of ppm; natural or otherwise they are not trivial; While we have a lot to answer for the way we "first-worlders" live - variation is cyclic; this is clearly evident; The ice core data and lake sedimentation data is clear.
Frack! We are screwed.
every time we drive
every time we use too much power
and if we changed our power then things will impove.
I would expect climate scientists to know which direction the earth turns.
I Say we should increase research in nuclear power and it's safety. (Although this is unlikely because most people are frightened by the reactor)
isnt earht heading to a new iceage?
Please fix your spelling mistakes. And no it's not heading into a new Ice Age.

What does everyone think about HAARP, Chemtrails, and Geo engineering by the governments of the world? Could this be the reason for climate change and not CO2 and green house gas emissions. Thoughts everyone?
Let's be Eco Heroes 🌍❤️
We have already had many eras, sometimes glacial ones and sometimes torrid ones and we were not there with industry.I'm tired to hear that I'm guilty just because I am living now instead of one hundred years ago. I'm not responsible at all of anything. You are free to put your bottles and papers into the recycling places and to do like in Swiss three different containesrs for each colour of bottles if you are thinking to save the universe while the collecting companies are making money to recycle this stuf received for free. Swiss it's one of the most expensive countries in the world and the taxes are not lower because people is recycling better than in the other countries, so, it's time to understand that there is somwhere something wrong and not to be afraid about the changing climate. It can be even a good thing to have warm temperatures. In Spain in many regions they already not use heating in winter, so, the don't pollute the athmosphere any more.
recycling of glass has very little to do with climate change. and glass recycling is a very old bussiness just like with some metals, they are recycled since 100's of years. it would be dumb to not recycle it as it is so easy to recycle.
and why should we listen to you ignorant guesses about our climate system instead of listening to the experts around the world that show us and provide evidence for their theory that CO2 levels are indeed a problem?
when you have a mdeical condition, do you go ask random laymen on the net or do yo ask your doctor who is an expert on medical conditions?
Aanthanur DC Experts are not more trustable than you and I. I just say my opinion and you say yours following what we know about this question or what we can win to divulgate rumors pretending that this is the truth. For 70 years all the experts of the world pretended that drinking milk was good to prevent
fractures of bones while now we know that it's the contrary (The more your drink milk and the more you risk to have bone fractures).
For many years many medications killed million of people in the world before FDA decided that this medication was wrong. So, about doctors and about experts don't be so sure about what they pretend to know. Many of them have interests to say what they say for the money that they receive from those multinationals which are concerned to divulgate that rumors that they are pretending truths.
See statistics about doctors strikes in the hospitals around America and Europe and you will discover that just after some weeks of strike the deaths of the year were reduced from 10 to 30% in that hospitals.
Mario Sommarti its not about trusting , its about expertise. experts are the ones with the highest levels of knowledge on a subject. wich does not mean they are always right, sure not. but they are much more likely to be right than the non experts.
and I fear you have fallen for yet another myth about Milk. where do you get the idea that "now we know that it's the contrary" ?
www.hsph.harvard.edu/nutritionsource/calcium-full-story/
I said the contrary like a joke but in the link you add, the Harvard institute, doesn't say that milk is recommended. You can find on internet plenty of literature about milk studies. Among others a statistic about the country which counts more milk drinkers and has also the highest rate of bones fractures (Sueden).
Cow milk is done for veals. Veals has to grow as quick as possible to be abble to survive in the nature by their selves. It'a a matter of fact that people of all the countries which start to drink milk after the first world war became taller and continue to grow. The milk started to be promoted by the producers after the end of the war to compensate for the loss of the contract they had developed for the armies during the war.(Dried milk, etc).Thierry Souccar wrote a book about the myth of Osthoporosis. A lie completely invented to sell more milk. Hope this has been translated in english

and even 100 years ago people were inefficiently burning coal in every household causing thick black smoke to fill the air in the cold months. today the coal plants emit very little pollution. take a look and it is white steam coming out of the stack. we have catalytic converters in our exhaust systems to remove the worst of the by products in our vehicles. better technologies have been made but have been supressed by the big corporations as well as poor implimentation of sound tech like wind and solar to make them seem less effective to discredit them. none of these things are the everyday persons fault. but look at the vegans and the bicyclists hatred for anyone who isnt like them and see that they latch onto this propaganda to feel all high and mighty. this is why they will not be convinced, they hate you and your life so much they will fall madly in love with anything that make the rest of us look bad.
first ----the earth is rotating CCW
The aerosol masking means global dimming will be reduced and temperatures will increase if we stop polluting. We're toast
