Silhill Morris dance "Formerly Known As" at St. George's Day of Dance at Walsall Arboretum

Sunday 21st April 2024 - Glorishears of Brummagem Morris Dancers were delighted to welcome Ansley Morris, Silhill Morris, Three Spires Morris, and Jockey Morris to a St. George's Day of Dance at Walsall Arboretum.
Silhill Morris is a Morris Team based in Henley in Arden in Warwickshire.
We have male and female dancers and musicians and dance in the Border Tradition of Morris dancing . We appear at various events throughout the year.
The origins of the team were in Solihull, hence the name - Silhill is an old name for Solihull - but we have had a long connection with Henley in Arden , dancing there most years around boxing day.
We practice on Tuesday evenings in St Nicholas church hall, Beaudesert Lane, Henley in Arden from 8.15 to 10pm. We are always open to new members joining us, either as dancers or musicians.
