    new subscriber here! I have a budget keyboard from Machenike K500, and I'm planning to put some Akko V3 Cream Blue Switches on them. I'm soooooo new at this so your content helps me see different ranges of options. Thanks so much! Good job 👍

    I also bought the same keyboard and the knob is very wobbly and turns crooked when turning. I noticed the same situation in your video. Do you have any solution or is this normal?

      Unfortunately, with the price so low, they have to cut some areas. Knob is probably one of the place that they don't mind going cheap on.

      @@ImSquint Yes, the first thing I did was replace that Knob with a better one.

    are there any just of out of the box keyboards with "thock" or close to thock that require no modding?

    • @ImSquint
      @ImSquint  Год назад

      Absolutely. Lots of Akko's products come completed. Some of the factory hand lubed prebuilt finish from them are incredibly good to use right out of the box.

    There's a "sand flowing" sound after your mods, could it be that the pins of those switches are scratching against the pe foam, causing the sound?

    • @ImSquint
      @ImSquint  Год назад

      Actually, those are my fan noise in the background 😅 it was really hot in the room

      @@ImSquint Pretty sure that's not from fan noise. I can hear some some scratching sound. It sounds like trying to flip pages on a book.

      @@maozedowner5915 tbh its probably whatever noise canceling algorithm he was using haha

      @maozedowner5915 Honestly, I don't know if I hear that. Even from the raw audio. It could be the video rendering or noise canceling from editing software.

    Was the typo intentional?

    I don't recommend this based off the sound. Def can do better as proven in many videos for the same price.
