I wanna say a massive thank you for having that "time remaining" loading bar and the warning when the sound returned to normal! Might seem like small things but damn if they don't make the biggest difference!
I do appreciate all these keyboard reviews, however they are almost all on keyboards that don't have the numpad. It would be great to see some reviews on mechanical numpads once in a while, because sometimes games do use the numpad. Thanks.
Very glad to see Redragon moving away from using blue switches for everything. They started with Otemu (which were an unknown entity for the western market, but actually really good), then moved to use blue switches on everything and now it seems they are branching out again. If my Logitech G815 needs replacing I'm definitely gonna pick one of their low profile switch boards to replace it.
As mnentioned in the other video: I have the K622 (Horus). It's everything I wanted in an upgrade from my previous Redragon KB. Ultra-low profile | RGB | TKL | Dedicated Media Keys & Volume/Light Scroller. Typing is soft to the touch and low-noise.
I've had a SteelSeries Apex 3 TKL since I got my first PC, back in September of 2023. I really like it and have no need to get another one. I know I can't customize it, but I'm not a DJ or anything so I really don't need to. LOL. I'm happy with it, though. :)
hey Frank i love all ur content! i Would like see a vid where you show of some of ur pokemon collection!? like showing some of the more expensive and rare cards that you have!
My dearest Frankp, I come come to you for tech suggestions to often see you display splendid keyboards, however I don't often see love for us 85% and 96% layout (compact full size) enjoyers. I would appreciate if you would guide others to see the shining light to an under rated layout so companies would start aiming to make better creations in such format. My sincerest gratitude.
I actually use the full size Apex at work. I like the membrane, cause it still sounds nice, and you don't disrupt people in an office environment with the noise of clicky switches.
The Gskill felt to good to be true would be better if it had south facing leds instead of north facing and if you are wondering why it's a problem it can have interference with cherry profile keycaps on the middle row if you do want a really customizable south facing led keyboard get the eppomaker ek68 it's a pretty budget 65% keyboard with a volume knob

I personally loved the the sound of the Redragon K621 Horus, then Redragon K632 then the Womier ….. both switches are nice but the replacing crystal switches that RFP are a lil bit better than stock ….. but not heaps imo 🥰💪😇👍
was able to get the g.skill keyboard before they sold out and it is an amazing keyboard, its crazy what you get for the money, theres not much that needs to be done to this keyboard to make it any better, its the perfect keyboard for me
That red dragon seems shockingly good haha I was gonna pick up a nuphy air96 but now I’m gonna have to consider the RD. I would love to see a video about low profile keyboards and/or good keyboards for hybrid gaming and productivity.
i have the apex 3 tkl im using it right now to type this lol its a very good keyboard

Brands like ReDragon and Funtech shouldn't be ignored. Sure, they make a lot of cheap stuff, but they also often make great clones and a lot of great stuff for not a lot of money. Almost every year they sneak up on top X lists of keyboards and mice.
I will stand by any redragon keyboard with hot swappable switches. Easy to mod, I made my older low profile keyboard feels and sound better than the $200 ones fairly easily.
I was waiting for a video like this! Good work Frank. Sadly I wasn't a big fan of them perse but i think they are a great option. Any chance you make an under $100 dollar epsiode before lets say prime day? :)
Redragon products aren't bad at all, I actually just bought a Redragon K624p 60% keyboard and have been enjoying the typing experience after I did the usual mods for it. You do need to put in some more elbow grease than normal for the stabs with the Redragon keyboards though, I had to add in "3M Nexicare" medical tape foam into the base of the stab housing and then add in heat shrink wrap towards the center of the spacebar wire.
Thanks frank! I just bought the blue version of the RD K632 😁 I'm replacing my piece of garbage Razer Blackwidow V2 Mini... I want to love it, but it has so many issues with double I put. My tab button, E, V (off the top of my head) double input and spa out, often making it so I'm not able to rez my friends when I need to hold them down. That baord wa like... $150. After a coupon, my Amazon rewards points and a gift card I had, I paid $7 for this new lil red dragon board! I'm excited to get it tomorrow. Now I just need to get my hands on a full size pulsar RFP mouse. Too bad that's probably impossible now 😢 they've been sold out since like... Day 1.
You are right the double input is crazy on Razers. Return them at the 1st sign. All keyboards.can double input if you are not as fast as their actuation.
I added the Kemove Snowfox to my collection a few years ago for $55. Hotswap 60% wireless keyboard with Bluetooth. Incredible for the price. Got some Zeal V2s in it and 😍
I wish that some keyboard manufacturers would make the volume dial easier to rebind to different functions, for instance I'd prefer it to be a scroll wheel (like on a mouse) and not volume, for I have and use an audio interface
man that womier sounds so good. there's another "womier" and i put that in quotes because i dont know if the xvx womier is the same brand, but they have the k87 tkl pro one that looks good with gateron yellows that i want
Womier keyboard looks to be the same as Deltaco's GAM-160-T pretty much, except deltaco has no F keys, and has a vol knob on top right. Same aesthetic with swappable switches though. Keys look similar I think they may even be produced by the same company.
I really wanna find a nice set of clear, black top pudding keycaps that aren't wildly expensive. I know it's a niche but my keychron K8 has disappointingly subtle lights and clear keycaps would solve the issue more or less, but fully transparent look that little bit too tacky.
I would def pick up the wormier out of these, and do what you did swapping out the switches to linear. There's just something about transparent that's so cool and charming about it, plus the extra RGB power it gives and it sounds the best IMO out of all the others, and as you mentioned the stock stabs are great.
@kevinyates7273 if i wanna be realistic, i would get the gateron yellows they're a budget linear switch but is said to be the BEST budget linear switch. If price isn't a problem then u could get something more expensive, some very popular options are the novelkeys cream and gateron black ink (i hope i remembered their names right). Gateron switches in general i would say have great option.
Man i have one of these, just want to say these are usually 125Hz keebs. They look good and sound decent, but for gaming performance... just do your research.
I like redragon k621, I almost placed the order on Amazon when realized there’s no numpad on it, can you recommend one with all the features and numpad?
@randomfrankp , what do you think about the keychron k2 pro? I ordered a c3 pro (wired) and they send me the k2 pro(BT) instead. Second question what are some good keycaps to purchase?
As a German who needs the Qwertz layout with ä, ö, ü and other shit, it really hurts to see these type of videos because they show you all kinds of cool keyboards you'll never own 😢

Redragon is such a great brand for cheap, reliable keyboards! I've been relying on them since I started PC gaming back in high school.
pls make a video like this but about mice under $50
viper mini, that's ur best option
Or the Logitech g305
just don’t include the logitech g502 because it still double clicks
I have a 203 and I love it.
There’s only two options. Razer Viper Mini and Glorious Model O/D Wired

Could you do the same video for full keyboards with numpads? Seems like a great video idea and there are many of us that cant live without the numpad!
Just buy a num pad and used it separately so it’s not in the way when u don’t need it
I remember buying logitech g502 because of frank last 2018. The mouse is still rocking till now.
I actually use the full size Apex at work. I like the membrane, cause it still sounds nice, and you don't disrupt people in an office environment with the noise of clicky switches.

Loved the video. Part 2 with $50-100? Would love to see full sized
That Redragon K621 kills me because i bought the Logitech G915 for $200 years ago. What a value holy hell
The K632 Pro is pretty sweet but the thing I want is that galaxy desk mat you used during the typing test…
G.Skill bottom tier? Interesting. Been using their ram since 2015 and nothing but amazing performance and longevity.
probably just meant as in gaming accessories and peripherals

Sad to see the LTC NB681 Nimbleback didnt make the list. Great keyboard with good reviews, under $50.
Thanks for all the great content Frank!
I would love it if you could find ergonomic options. Everything I find is expensive. Keep up the great work!
Matches his watch with the first keyboard. What a great play 🤙🤙

I'm in the same boat. Wanted to buy the nuphy air96, but the ones with prebuilt Wisteria switches are sold out.
What did you go with?
RFP with the crazy uploads recently !
Love the vids bro, keep it up. Love from Australia
Not even a mention of a full-size keyboard 😭
i feel your pain. he doesnt like them lol, so he very rarely reviews any
For gaming.. full size keyboard really isnt the best option, i keep hiting my mouse on my full size keyboard. I use low sens so i move my mouse more
I m thinking of switching to to smaller cuz numbpads are for losers
i have the apex 3 tkl im using it right now to type this lol its a very good keyboard

reddragon ones look great! gonna start window shopping...

i'm getting the womier sk75 and it looks so cool! i think a 75% keyboard is good for gaming since i need arrow keys for some games
Really like the Wormier keyboard, where did you buy the key caps? Do I need to know how to lube them/etc?
Can you please mention the cables for the detachable wire keyboards?... The cables shown in the video looked great!
just bought the k621. thanks P!
I would love the steelseries apex 3 tkl.. .. wait... this is not giveaway! ooh
I’m curious how the womier clear with the new switches compares performance and price wise to the redragon elf clear unmodded.
"Recently, I picked a bunch of gaming keyboards under fifty dollars, a lot of them are trash"
Best intro ever
The wormier is impressive because of the customizability
I would def pick up the wormier out of these, and do what you did swapping out the switches to linear.
