Very glad to see Redragon moving away from using blue switches for everything. They started with Otemu (which were an unknown entity for the western market, but actually really good), then moved to use blue switches on everything and now it seems they are branching out again. If my Logitech G815 needs replacing I'm definitely gonna pick one of their low profile switch boards to replace it.

The Gskill felt to good to be true would be better if it had south facing leds instead of north facing and if you are wondering why it's a problem it can have interference with cherry profile keycaps on the middle row if you do want a really customizable south facing led keyboard get the eppomaker ek68 it's a pretty budget 65% keyboard with a volume knob

I would appreciate if you would guide others to see the shining light to an under rated layout so companies would start aiming to make better creations in such format.

Brands like ReDragon and Funtech shouldn't be ignored. Sure, they make a lot of cheap stuff, but they also often make great clones and a lot of great stuff for not a lot of money. Almost every year they sneak up on top X lists of keyboards and mice.

Redragon products aren't bad at all, I actually just bought a Redragon K624p 60% keyboard and have been enjoying the typing experience after I did the usual mods for it. You do need to put in some more elbow grease than normal for the stabs with the Redragon keyboards though, I had to add in "3M Nexicare" medical tape foam into the base of the stab housing and then add in heat shrink wrap towards the center of the spacebar wire.

Thanks frank! I just bought the blue version of the RD K632 😁 I'm replacing my piece of garbage Razer Blackwidow V2 Mini... I want to love it, but it has so many issues with double I put. My tab button, E, V (off the top of my head) double input and spa out, often making it so I'm not able to rez my friends when I need to hold them down. That baord wa like... $150. After a coupon, my Amazon rewards points and a gift card I had, I paid $7 for this new lil red dragon board! I'm excited to get it tomorrow. Now I just need to get my hands on a full size pulsar RFP mouse. Too bad that's probably impossible now 😢 they've been sold out since like... Day 1.

@kevinyates7273 if i wanna be realistic, i would get the gateron yellows they're a budget linear switch but is said to be the BEST budget linear switch. If price isn't a problem then u could get something more expensive, some very popular options are the novelkeys cream and gateron black ink (i hope i remembered their names right). Gateron switches in general i would say have great option.

You should consider taking a look at the Kiiboom Phantom 81. It's somewhere in between the Womier keyboard from this video and the Idobao ID80 Crystal. It's a full polycarbonate board with transparent linears and polycarbonate caps, but what sold me on it was the sound with a little extra love. The stock switches have a lot of potential that's ruined by a bad factory lube job, but if you take the time to open them and do it yourself, you get an impressively smooth linear that is extremely stable with basically no stem wobble and a nice, thocky sound signature. It also has 2.4ghz wireless and Bluetooth in addition to a type-C wired connection. I built one myself and loved it enough to get one for my fiancee as well.

Try Langtu LT84 3 mode version. The wired only is also dirt cheap

What are your thoughts on the Akko 5075B Plus? Its $100, but seems good for the price.

hey frank, I'm looking for a nice wireless 60 or even 75% keyboard, I'd prefer the smaller 60% but if there's a 75% that's worth it, I might go for that, saw the boards from this video but I'm not convinced they're the one for me, I was looking at razer with their 60% but I want hot swap switches and extra buttons and wheels, any suggestions ? appreciate the help !

Womier S-K75 is definitely looking like a keyboard I might get and mod in the new future, but that cable is already in my cart!
