This is why we shouldn't have spent the summer chasing a player from another Prem club, they were neve going to sell him to us without taking out pants down first. We need to get away from the Prem and be hunting in Europe like we did for Isak, Bruno, Botman etc. where the relationships aren't tarnished and can be beneficial for us. Pick up the odd Osula, Barnes etc. for sure but we shouldn't be looking at getting tied up in long negotiations with these clubs, they're not friendly to us.

If City get a points deduction from the 115 charges and ultimately get relegated, would that then mean that they are not signed upto the Premier League rules so could in fact take them to court?
If the rules were confined to ensuring clubs could not go bust (i.e. spend what you like on players, as long asthe club can withstand an owner walking away) the danger of one club running away with the league is not that high. Look at PSG: spending fortunes doesn't guarantee dominance. Also, there is a limit to how many players can be on one club's payroll: those not getting enough minutes are evntually going to leave. I think the solution to how much a club should be able to spend is simple. They are all allowed to spend the same. Pick a figure and say that's what everyone can spend.

I don't understand how Keith thinks if we got an interest free loan from the Saudi's we could have complied with PSR and kept Elliot Anderson. The loans only help with cashflow, not PSR, as they are not recognised as revenue in the accounts.
