That Parkhead goal is my first football memory. I know I watched Euro 96, but I don't remember it, per se. I remember watching McManaman's goal vividly. I remember where I was, what we did that day, what I ate, everything. Football can be an amazing thing.
Wednesday is 1 of my favourite days thanks to this pod. Keep up the great work, lads, brilliant listen every week 👏
Thanks for listening!
Great and unexpected shout-out for Corentin Martins, a somewhat forgotten but very nifty little 90s player!
Gary Neville is the most generous person ever, he helped me set up a socker school here in Dubai 😉👍
😂😂thats good of him but you run a football school and you call in soccer and you spell it with a k lmao what colour soccs do you wear😂😂
Wishlist for guests, Jose Mourinho, Harry Redknapp, Eric Cantona
Henry Bergkamp van nesteroy viera would be good to get the old rivals on wenger would be interesting 🤝
Yes!! 🙌
@@Peterbrendanalbert It's unfortunate and sad to admit but Roy would call in sick if they ever got Sir Alex on the show. That's a fact and tragic that Roy can't let bygones by bygones considering what he won under Sir Alex and made him the fierce player he was.
@ops7917 it works both ways doe.... I think fergie would be the exact same towards roy, and in Roy's defence, they were known for mis treating very loyal players when letting them go
@@Karl.c89ruthless and never hindered uniteds ability to win. Sir Alex is the best. EVER.
Well played lads, great content as always. Can you get Ali McCoist on here!? What a character he is, would have some incredible stories.

This is getting better each week. Love the stories of old. And the games from the 90s. I remember most of them. How football has changed. Brilliant again fellas.👍👍👍
Spluttered my tea when Roy said he didn't think he'd play Mick Hucknall, he's a comedy genius
Love this show ! so good. love the idea of the four of you taking over a team for the last three weeks of a season.
