In 1993 I was born in Morehead City in the Hospital Carteret Health Care along with my three sons, I've been here all my life for all my 30 years and I'm proud to be a local. I'm never moving from Carteret county, Morehead City and Beaufort is my life (my world wouldn't be the same without these places and I would definitely be home sick if I moved). I have many wonderful memories of this amazing place, it will always hold a special place in my heart. All of Carteret county is my stomping grounds, this place is so beautiful and it has so much to give. Thank you so much for this incredible video, also nice background music. 💙💙💙💙
Just came across this video. How truly wonderful to see this view. My memories flood back to me again and again when I recognize so many spots. My precious husband loved going to Atlantic Beach, Moorehead and Beaufort. A piece of my heart will always remain there.

For some reason the best part of this video to me are all the navigation lights blinking on the water, with the boat lights, as well as the lighthouse way off in the distance!
im a sailor from Philippines . I've been sailing to morehead city several times since 2016 our cargo is rubber . i really love this place . .. i wanted to move here . hahahah
This is great drone video! Thank you. The first several minutes are of the town of Atlantic Beach, not Morehead City. Views of Morehead City start at about 4:15 or so.
That was my initial thought as well. This is the heart of the Crystal Coast though. All 3 of NC's coastal regions are so different. Atlantic Beach seems to have many more miles of accessible sand and surf that not's a hassle to reach. Wilmington and OBX traffic is as bad as Atlanta's in the summer. It eats up too much of the day. I love this area and have been almost every summer since 1973 including spending 2 whole summers there in the late 80s.
