Grew up part of my life in Goldsboro, NC and BBQ is at the top of my list of favorite foods. Eastern style BBQ will always be my preference.

I was stationed at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in Goldsboro North Carolina. We used to go to wilber's barbecue to get our barbecue and then McCall's open up just down the street. I prefer either one. I understand wilber's had some tax problems and went out of business but somebody came along and rescued it and open the back up glad to hear that

Example ..sassy sandwich n a Scotts dream plate with various meats to keep the history of the original founders in that area of bbq

I'll admit, when I make my own bbq sauce, I'm probably a heretic... I will do a base of vinegar, add in some tomato, and also add a hint of mustard. Sounds crazy but actually tastes amazing

Be nice touch if a sandwiches were named from the long tradition names of pit masters

That extension agent is misplaced. As a western BBQ guy I enjoy my barbecue. My biggest deal isn’t the sauce it’s the main side. Barbecue without “BBQ” red slaw
