Junkie asshole. In many ways I find it embarrassing that such a full of himself twat influenced my young life. An artistically gifted, philosophical schmuck. The. End. lol
yeah the 90's is when he went from changing constantly, to do almost the same thing for 13 years. got rid of any keyboards which were always present before... had different reasons.... perhaps more obligations, less space to experiment, had to make a living .. as he said "when you become old enough when you need money , and you don't have any, that's when i had to do this enormous long tours...." it really started to look good for him, by the time of the millennium. then was the wonderful reunion, and i am so lucky to have seen so many shows!... 88-89 was a fantastic band. two biggest crimes of his carrier is that he never recorded it in the studio. and of course that he never recorded with sonic rendezvous. collaboration with them was perhaps the best he ever did. just listen to Copenhagen and Helsinki on a high volume.
i just waiting patiently when more of this footage will turn up, in the beginning from follow the sun tour. such a highpoint of his carrier. it's around same time as sf81. same outfit. in the 82 interview, to the right, can be seen the German mistress Eshter Friedman. his first serious long-term relationship, that went from 1976 to 1983. that was near the end of their relationship, as the end of the golden age of his carrier. the Suchi-period went till the end of 90's, and then there was Nina. yeah, this periods of his life and carrier, are very personal and geographical related, first was the Stooge. then was Berlin/Eshter, Suchi/NewYork, Nina/Miami.
+Janko Takac Absolutely. In those years I admit thinking he made "weaker" albums with Zombie Birdhouse for instance. I'd turn back time and 'd be standing front row at his concerts knowing what was coming :-)
I love Iggy don't get me wrong but.... just guys... in rock.. Joan Jett... I wish we had more badass women in rock (who became well known there might be some I've never heard of, then again I know underground music)
Hes very charismatic, and hes very good at talking to people and getting them involved in what hes saying his book is about.
"Zombie Birdhouse" is one of my all-time favourite albums, a work of pure Iggy genius!
Absolutely !
Aquí esta medio acelerado Iggy, pero me encanta tan bello 🤣🤘😘😍🔥❤️
He knows what he's talking about.

I couldn't even talk when I was flying on coke .my hats off to Iggy!
coked out of his mind!
And weirdly has the composure to wright a book.
Because he's the ooooooooooonly person in the woooorrrlldd who's ever been that coked out. Get real.
Heroin was his drug of choice, he also did a number of recreational drugs. He's clean now, so it's a non issue.
@@markrago5024 he did everything..but by this stage it was coke n alcohol 'drunkie'
Oh my gawd,,,this dude is truly something else...his mind was still reeling but his bands weren't rocking in the late 80's through the 90s.

It´s funny how - at the time - this was considered as the absolute lowpoint fo mr. Pop ...
+Janko Takac Absolutely. In those years I admit thinking he made "weaker" albums with Zombie Birdhouse for instance. I'd turn back time and 'd be standing front row at his concerts knowing what was coming :-)
Zombie Birdhouse was awesome
God he looks so strung out
I love Iggy don't get me wrong but.... just guys... in rock.. Joan Jett... I wish we had more badass women in rock (who became well known there might be some I've never heard of, then again I know underground music)
Oh man, not that cliched Joan Jett.
Wendy O Williams, Debbie Harry, they were there
Does it really matter? Just enjoy the music
so fucking stoned.
1:07 check for coke bougars
Coke boogers? Is it o.k. to eat them?
Iggy strikes me as more of a speed freak here than a coke head.
Holy cola 😊
What's the song name
?
The Villagers, off of Zombie Birdhouse
1:02
what about it?
No, the fake laugh is at 1:03.
In 1982 who would win in a fight, Iggy or John Lydon?
Iggy for sure! As 'hard' as growing up Nth London Irish poor Lydon makes out..Ig grewup in rural Michigan in a flash trailer...but still a trailer
@@richardmcgrath9729 Iggy for sure... he woz a body builder in the 70's, hardest of the lot probably
Prime iggy vs prime Lydon? Iggy. However Iggy vs Steve Jones I’ll go with Steve.
Those were the drug days, crazy stuff always high
jeannie.becker
he touch his front and touch down nose because are relaxin copunture ponits
Eh??
Say what?
Sergi Esteve Carbó
He touches his third eye when expounding critical thoughts.
Pretty sure touching your head like that is an illuminati thing.
Nah it's a coke thing.
An escene of proto - trainspotting, 10 years before 😄. It's not the Iggy I like the most...it shows a person with a very low selfsteem....
I have seen some drugged out people. But jesus christ, the amphetamines is almost smelling from the screen.
LOL "hatian rythms"
