RED DRUM OR BUST! Surf Fishing Paradise

  • North Carolina offers great surf fishing from early Spring all the way through late Fall. We are in the middle of June and there are a variety of species to catch in the Summer, including Red Drum, which was the target on this day. I like to use sand fleas if they are available but live Striped Killifish and cut Mullet are hard to beat. Swarms of Pinfish made fishing difficult today, but we managed to catch a slot Red anyhow. Get out there and be somebody!

    I'm going to ocean isle nc area in late November throu early December and I'm so new to surf fishing and I was wondering if that's even a good time to go ive caught little whitings and stuff like that and I've caught reds on a guide but I wanna catch some cool stuff by myself I rlly wanna catch a shark, flounder, and redfish if you can help by letting me know if that's a good time and what to use and what rigs that would be great please and thank you!

    There have been alot of big chopper blues caught this year. Probably what you lost. Love the content man keep it up

      Thanks for the comment, yeah that was my initial thought. I lost another hook in the same way. Shark or chopper blue would be the likely culprits.
