I need to make a trip back up there from Wilmington soon. Still working on finding a great place up there to get mud crabs. it's kind of inconvenient having to get them here before we go but we can do that.

Oh yeah my son thru out a mullet and caught two baby cobia about 2-3 pounds.

Also only hit on urchins, no mud crabs touched.

Bro went sheepshead fishing same area as you. Decided to go with moon timing like you have. About 1/2 hour ahead of it and as soon as we got in that time range they turned on. Craziest thing ever.

Just started watching your channel earlier this week. I like the content. Im an avid fisherman in the piedmont area of NC, and video a bit, but love to fish the ICW and ocean. Last time i was out was when flounder season was open for the few days they give us. I fished the Basin at Fort Fisher and had a great time. Y'all need to look into the rope lures for gar fishing. I like to make a smaller version of the rope lures and use them with a hook and bait. I only use very small tremble hooks or small circle hooks. But the frayed nylon ends of the rope easily tangles and holds in their teeth. Yes they work a little too good and you either have to cut the gar off of your line and put them on ice, or take a little time with gloves, ( which you should always use when handling gar fish.), and a good pair of needle nose pliers. It'll take a little longer to untangle from the gars teeth but it's a surefire way to catch them much more consistently without a lot of misses.

Any advise to where i can find some urchin from Atlantic beach to swansboro? We just got moved to swansboro a few months ago and trying to figure out the salt fishing. Big difference from trout fishing in Tennessee.
