- In this review we look at the Harley Davidson Pan America 2023 model. I go through some of the specs and do a real on road review of this bike in real time. I do abit of highway testing and hit some twisties so I can provide an accurate opinion of this bike. The Pan America is a motorcycle manufactured and marketed by Harley-Davidson, introduced in 2018 for the 2020 model year to dive into and compete with the adventure bike market. Guys i have had every harley in the lineup over the years.Mostly cvos.Im glad i tried the Pan .I bought one in dec of 23 . Its the best harley i have ever had. PERIOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bikes and periods?
FRIDAY (in the States, so, it must be GNARLY HARLEY day!! My friend, who's only ever road Harley/cruisers recently bought a new PanAm, and he absolutely loves it! Last few times I've seen him on the road, he's been riding it. He took a chance, for something different and experiences and hasn't regretted it.

Suprised by the power to weight of the Pan, very quick and seems like it would make the perfect tourer/ dirt tourer for the harley lover. The lowering for short peeps is different, wouldn't want it to lower itself in the bush but 😂 another great review mate.

I ended up buying the Triumph Tiger 1200 Rally Explorer as my ADV bike. Still love my 14 Breakout but the Tiger is packed with tech and similar spec as the Pan Am.
Oh hell yeah mate. The triumph tigers are awesome ! Know a few people who absolutely bloody love them. Been doing ADV stuff longer too !

I was at the dealershit picking up my new FXLRST and I sat on the Pan Am to confirm if maybe i was taking home the wrong bike that day. I'm 5ft9 and I was struggling to touch the ground even with the suspension in the lowered position, I didn't take it for a ride, and I'm sure I would've loved it, but I'm stoked with my ST and I don't really get enough time to get off road often so I did indeed bring home the best bike for me, at least for now. I've watched plenty of reviews of these PanAms over the last couple years, but not really any by Australians on QLD roads. Good review man, thanks

Hello Matt!!! Wow... a new Pan America! Nice review of this motorbike! I believe that Harley Davidson will be forced into making all their motorbikes water cooled in the future. That is going to be the only way they will be able to match the pollution standards that are heading our way. 150 horsepower? Now that is very impressive! I like that power and the lowering of the bike at stop is really nice for us shorter riders! Overall... this looks like a very well designed motorbike! It has so many awesome features that are not only cool, but very practical too! I think this Right 2 Drive company is pretty damn awesome too! I don't think we have anything like this in the states. You are making such wonderful videos and people are recognizing that too! When company's are contacting you to review their products... that is impressive Matt!!! You're almost at 200K for subscribers too!!! You the man!!! John...
Hey John, cheers mate, yeah I definitely agree with you there unfortunately harley have to keep up with the times and the tech. If you live in the past that's where you stay and get left behind. Love what they are doing to get into new markets.

Always wanted to know what the Pan America is like, wish you could have taken it off road though, just to test the suspension & comfort. Looks a lot of fun. @@Gnarly_Harley Yes I hope the weather does stay better for you. Been chatting to Mal & it's like the weather we had last yr. Just you guys have it now. I had never seen anything like it before. This year the weather has been back to normal & pretty good. Today was on & off, however got a 300 km day ride in, was a great day 🙂

That road you were on when you did the wheelies with that other dude .. I was on that road today, bedding in my new brake pads I put on yesterday .. I live in the area before you got on the long road ..
I been looking at them, not sure If I fit on them as I am very tall LOL
I read somewhere, when you load the bike with gear and passenger, you all load up first before you start it so it learns the weight etc..
Should pop around and sit on it and see how it fits me long legs.

Well if the rolling shot gives you an idea, I'm 6"3 and I fit comfortably but if you're taller than that it may start to cramp up a little ? Worth going for a test ride anyway man.
Yeah it has that adaptive suspension, absolutely crazy haha. Very cool technology !

Nice bike but as with all bikes today - TOO DAMN COMPLICATED. These are adventure bikes, they are meant to ride on and off road, they are meant to ride in a rough terrain. If you're in the middle of nowhere 100 miles from nearest town on a dirt road and computer decides to crap out, you screwed.
I hear you on that, I was thinking the same thing mate. Definitely prefer something like a dr650 etc to go out and get lost on. Keep it simple. It's a bloody cool idea in theory but practically hard to keep reliable! Thanks for watching 🧡 🖤 🤙

I did notice that but I'm honestly glad there isn't haha. The front wheel was coming up alot as it is, especially with the mrs on the back 🤣
It is also a high revving bike so most of the time I stayed in a lower gear and it was an animal. But I do see where you're coming from for sure. Not like my harley torque I wheel spin if I take off hard enough 🤣🤣 thanks for watching 🧡 🖤 🤙

Mate, here's a tip; STOP filming your own face! Put the camera on the bikes, we DO NOT want a video where half of it is you pointing the camera at yourself!
Anyone can grab a go pro and point the thing at a motorcycle. What makes a channel different from another if we all do the same thing...

When I first heard about Harley making adv bikes my first thought was why? But they do look good. With other motorcycle companies heading in the same direction I understand 🫤👍
