Another great tip we forgot to mention for removing the blade when it comes to blade right/blade left: You ALWAYS remove the blade by spinning the bolt in the same direction the blade spins. That ends up being lefty-loosey for blade right and righty-loosey for blade left saws. Remember to "loosen WITH the blade."

Yeah we used to always turn a worn blade backwards to cut metal roofing .
We've done that with Hardieboard as well.
