😂Doing crazy adventures while your young!? I am 51 and just bought a Vespa 50cc scooter and a tent… Going to Marocco from Norway… Safe travels & stay young 😂
I would suggest somehow locking the frames together as you only have to drop out both wheels and lift the bikes into a van. Soon get some wheels. My KTM was nearly stolen a while back and I had 9 locks on it attached to ground anchors. It was the fact that they used up cutting discs that slowed them down and my alarm disclock woke me up to disturb them.
I would suggest not making the decision before you finish the motorbike trip… I have done many trips on bikes and I can tell you after about 6 weeks bike trips get VERY exhausting.. if you then have to rent somewhere as opposed to just staying in the van that will get expensive fast!
I agree. Do the big adventures while you can! Life goes by so fast, so better to make the most of it than live with regret. Excited for your next adventure! 🎉
A little tip guys with a twin wheeled trailer whined the jockey wheel all the way down to lift the front two wheel and you will find it sooo much easier to move. But having a camper is best of both worlds .
Hey you two hope your well, we check every day to see if your ok but so hopefully you can update us followers very soon, hope all is well, Geordie, Kate, Dylan and Dutch the dogs x
Well this is some options to maybe consider, sold our original Van, purchased a Tiny apartment, then a later a new stronger Van. The Bikes can fit, in the Van, Got a new Trailer (can easily take bikes but sleep 1 extra person, solar panels & extra bike spares option) The van gets rented out (its new) for 3-6 months the Trailer also gets rented out. I currently own apartment but looking at 2 Tiny houses at possibly opposite end of the Country, use as a base station rotate every year and via a Real Estate rent them out if we are not staying in them (Travelling). Should mention I have my own Business, and Life Coach & Counsellor. Thanks Love the Bike stuff.
Erm. motorcycle tourer here who’s just built a van ready for van touring…. Motorcycle touring is more of a faff, colder, wetter… you will spend wet days trying to find dry places to hide for hours and the set up/down at each stop and campsite is way longer. Then in hot climates you need warm weather gear or you’ll be sweating your backside off in no time. It’s an amazing experience but don’t be fooled into thinking it’s less of a faff. We got the van to go touring with a bit less faff. (Still do bike but no denying van is comfier and less hassle overall)
Good luck with all your future adventures and decisions. Keep being fun and real like u both are . I will definitely be watching your future adventures.
Ah you guys are gonna have an amazing time going through Scandinavia to the NordKapp - we absolutely loved it there! Enjoy and can’t wait to see where you go there 😁🙌🏼
You have taught me so many lessons and so many alternatives. I dream to have a set up like yours. I’m a single dad with 50:50, so sometimes on my own, sometimes with the kids and always with the dog😂. You have opened a whole new world of travelling for me where I am thinking of getting rid of the caravan to do it! ❤
Hi Martha and Mitch, just watched your latest video. I have so enjoyed all your adventures, in the van and now on the motor bikes. Hope everything goes well for you both on your trip to Finland. Everything will work out well for you both. You are doing well and following your hearts. Keep looking forward, you have achieved so much. Your van would sell like hot cakes, it has been built so well and is a real home on wheels. Look forward to seeing your next video. All the best Tim Melbourne. 👍
Sounds awesome. I found your video due to the motorcycling stuff. It's going to be a shame to not have you post in quite some time, but I'm looking forward to all the motorcycle travel videos you'll be producing. I really wish I had the opportunity to do motorcycle traveling back in my 20's, unfortunately it's not something I can feasibly do currently, so I'll live the motorcycle travelling life vicariously through you.
I feel for you two - it’s a big decision, but one you’re not taking lightly and whatever you decide it will be the right one! Don’t reflect on it though…just move forward positively. I’m not so much into the van life part, I’m all about motorbike adventures so really looking forward to the Nordkapp trip. Enjoy! Mike❤️
Good night Martha and mitch i love you too so much for doing all of your videos of you and your adventures in your campervan and on your motor bikes i love watching your videos of you and your adventures in your campervan and on your motor bikes please keep up the good work up on your videos on your you tube channel please keep safe and warm
Just found your channel. Great work . Hope you continue with your motorcycle adventures . Recently bought myself a Husky 701 here in New Zealand . Looking forward to your bike adventures.
Not sure if bike life is my thing but always do what you feel is right for you while you can. I will still dip in and out to see how you are both getting on. Have fun.
Hopefully see you in South East Asia during the winter! We escape the UK winter also and go to Thailand. Have a great trip, look forward to the content when you are back
All the best for your Finland trip, and I'll be looking forward to all the videos when you get back, I'm pretty sure they will be worth watching, and stay safe keep it rubber side down.....❤👍
You are right to do it now while you are both capable to enjoy the trips. Shame the Van may have to move on but I am sure it will not be the end. Looking forward to your adventures, to the cap. I follow the social media you guys put out so will hopefully see some peeks till your next youtube vid. GOOD LUCK AND HAVE FUN
I can't wait to see your adventures on bikes, amazing choice and yes its the next chapter go with your hearts, it don't matter what anyone thinks, its your choice, don't have to justify to anyone. Feel it's going to be the best thing you can do right now.
Good luck guys I wish you all the luck in whatever you do. It will be a shame to see your van gone, but it’s good you are doing these trips like you said why you are young lots of memories to look back on ❤
Great video guys, very positive, and great to see new adventures on the horizon, Best of Luck, and looking forward to seeing the next step on your journey
Great video and really like that lock. I could use of them for my KTM 300 in my enclosed trailer! Looking forward to your next video and have an awesome time! Whichever way you go….will be the right way.
Great video, congrats on the sponsor good ad short and sweet and meaningful 😊 good luck on your next adventure be ready for hardship and challenges you guys will do well 😊
Hi Marth and Mitch, I am just checking in on you as we have been 'Binge' watching all your vids from the start so we can catch up to were you are now. I wake up in the night now after watching the Thailand and Vietnam episodes lol, That first room you stopped in OMG I was scratching all over watching that, so brave of you both. Even the SAS would struggle going in there. Well done Mitch 'dodging death' lol from every angle riding the hire bike. You have got some big Kahuna's haha. Hope you are both OK
Hi, me and my bf are from Romania, currently converting a campervan. related to the shengen problem, it would be shocking if Romania managed to enter this year because for 2-3 years both Austria and Hungary have been blocking access due to the pretext that emigrants are entering from here. this in the conditions where it enters through Croatia much more favorably thanks to the Mediterranean Sea. And Croatia is now in Schengen. Well, I’ve discovered your channel weeks ago because of the Nord trip, and I’ve saw in 2 weeks more than half of your channel 😬😅. Can’t wait for the next vids, keep up the great content 😌
Good luck and safe travels! Can’t wait to watch your big bike trip. What will you guys do through winter if you don’t have the van? Looking forward to seeing what happens next!
Hi guys, follow your dreams and enjoy your life as you are both doing ,, we are not disappointed in you we are exited for the new journey you are taking us on ,so stay safe on those bikes and go for it 😊👍 ❤Phil/Tina x
Dont sell the van just put in storage. And hope yous have a great trip would love to do it as well hitting the euro tet. Ride safe have fun and stay safe. Martha dont panic over there just take it at your own pace. And enjoy the ride. Take care you 2
I don't know why you made the decision not to make videos during the trip? Maybe you're not taking your laptop with you? But anyway the mobile connections are super good in whole Finland and Scandinavia! You can easily upload a 15 minutes video to RUclips with 4G connection and it will be fast. You can buy a prepaid SIM card and it will cost 30€ and it will be limitless using for 1 month!
Finland trip sounds awesome, guys. Truly, wishing you both the best luck on your new adventures, and already looking forward to the new content you make... Ps if you are selling the van. Could you please send me details... been looking for one for a while now, mainly through watching you two build and adventure in yours... it would be a dream to have a chance of owning her 🙏🤞
Totally get you. Well done. Have a great trip. But a month ? OMG. I’m already missing your tv after a week lol But no. Enjoy it. I’m looking forwards to seeing your trips.. And as you say it’s not over. It’s just one chapter coming to an end… For the next… Good luck to Both of you. I’m trying to get out a bit more with my brother. But he keeps falling off 😂 Hope to catch you guys soon… Oh yeah.. a month 😏 😂 Kidding.. catch you soon ❤
I've only recently started following you guys, Me and the Mr's are 55, We both watched all your vlogs regarding the motorbike training blah blah blah, My Mr's asked me if I'd like to do that? (I love off roading on bikes) I said I'm too old now and not fit enough, So we'll stick with the mo home, What I will say as "advice" chase your dreams, This isn't a test rehearsal, Your both young, I promise you'll get to an age where you won't physically be able to off road, Its a young uns game. Go for it 💪, I'll ask grandkids to sort one of them Instagram thingys out 😂
Another great video.. Will be sorry to see you go.. out of curiosity should you wish to sell the van any ideas on a price? We're literally half a mile walk from where it's parked, drove past it yesterday and maybe interested.
Just started following you. I wish you both all the best.i have a question is the weight of the trailer in addition to the van or included in the payload weight. I look forward to catching up with you both in the future
Definitely do as much as you can while you can, especially with the way the world has gone mad. Certainly it would not be an adventure for me, I have got used to luxuries being older 😂😂😂 Good luck though in whatever you decide.
Keep the van you won't always want to be on the bikes. You can't always live under canvas . And having the van gives you a secure roof over your head's
What are you guys using for finding spots, I always Park4Night... which I found to be great. Are you guys planning on showing ur route to the north cape? Have you though about Disc Bikelocks?! I mean swedish outback is not that known for bike theft.
Philly & Keely learned the hard way what happens to your van when you leave it for a few months, it's not pretty. Have you considered hiring it out while you're away?
Guys, you were in the city centre of Bath and did not come visit me... Could of parked outside my house lol. XXX Myself, I would bung the van on a transport and go to America... But thats just me lol
To get over the issue of the Schengen zone, could you not just apply for a work visa as you are full time self employed travel bloggers/vloggers? Isn’t it like being a freelance journalist?
bike travel can be very difficult both mentally and physically. if that what you decide so be it. I'm still gonna watch cause I like the people I'm watching. dont forget tires wear out fast, bikes break down for no good reason or for the stupidest reason and make sure you have a tent the can withstand horrible weather. if you want adventure you're going to get it. if this doesn't work maybe you can try sailing. ¯\_( ͡❛ ͜ʖ ͡❛)_/¯
17:26 oh when you get to Lapland, dont call them laplanders they class it as an insult to there race ,take care you two ,safe journey ye ,rubber side down .
Don't do anything rash about the van, biking and camping is great if the weather's nice, but miserable if the weather's bad.
so true
😂Doing crazy adventures while your young!? I am 51 and just bought a Vespa 50cc scooter and a tent… Going to Marocco from Norway… Safe travels & stay young 😂
I would suggest somehow locking the frames together as you only have to drop out both wheels and lift the bikes into a van. Soon get some wheels.
My KTM was nearly stolen a while back and I had 9 locks on it attached to ground anchors. It was the fact that they used up cutting discs that slowed them down and my alarm disclock woke me up to disturb them.
Do it while you're younger. You'll never regret having those adventures. I'm old and still having adventures. Be doers, not dreamers! :)
I would suggest not making the decision before you finish the motorbike trip… I have done many trips on bikes and I can tell you after about 6 weeks bike trips get VERY exhausting.. if you then have to rent somewhere as opposed to just staying in the van that will get expensive fast!
I have been watching you both from the beginning, no matter what you decide I will continue to watch. Enjoy your travels
You are right, do it when you are young. Stay safe, have a great trip. I will be looking forward to your videos of the trip.
You only live once guys! you have to do what makes you happy!
I agree. Do the big adventures while you can! Life goes by so fast, so better to make the most of it than live with regret. Excited for your next adventure! 🎉
Follow your hearts, not the voices of strangers.
Ya had handbrake up Mitch on trailer when you and Martha was trying to push it back👍🏽
I saw that😂
A little tip guys with a twin wheeled trailer whined the jockey wheel all the way down to lift the front two wheel and you will find it sooo much easier to move. But having a camper is best of both worlds .
Good luck. Stay safe. And I'm sure you'll have a great time. Ade.

The gift that keeps on giving, for the young
don’t overthink it, just go for it while you can do anything.. have fun, never look back, life is short 💫

Have a good trip to Scandinavia. Love and Respect from Norway.
Have a great trip and stay safe. Interesting to hear how you find the relatively small capacity CRFs loaded up on longer road rides.
Good luck with all your future adventures and decisions. Keep being fun and real like u both are . I will definitely be watching your future adventures.

Idea :- How about Appletags hidden on the bikes so if something happens at least you can track them
I would love to do what yous are doing, I've got the same bike, but don't have a car licence
Before you sell the van, what about America? Seen a dutch family go there. Looking forward to the bike trip!
I think the trailer may have moved easier with handbrake off, it looked like it was on when you were trying to turn it.
Just started following you. I wish you both all the best.i have a question is the weight of the trailer in addition to the van or included in the payload weight. I look forward to catching up with you both in the future

Where do u tell insurance companies for everything (van, bikes, contents?) your address is?
Guys, you were in the city centre of Bath and did not come visit me... Could of parked outside my house lol. XXX Myself, I would bung the van on a transport and go to America... But thats just me lol
D locks are all well and good. But they just take the front wheel off these days. Takes 2 mins with an impactor
Just in case you guys wasn’t aware don’t leave uploading vids for 3 months as I’ve seen peoples channel views drop a lot as a result👍
To get over the issue of the Schengen zone, could you not just apply for a work visa as you are full time self employed travel bloggers/vloggers? Isn’t it like being a freelance journalist?
2:14 take the break off mitch
Hi how are you doing
Wy not get a nomad visa? Could spend the Yr in Croatia and still 3 months at a time see everywhere else?
11:08 hiploks the best martha and mitch
Leaving a channel with no updates can be a mistake in some cases, just saying. I'm going nowhere though👍
19:50 oh say hello sometime ye
