Yay! But you guys are to polite, don’t apologize for xyz, I’m very happy just to follow along on your adventures. Video angles and audio isn’t that important, I’m sure you will improve, no need to constantly apologize. ❤
Yes guys!! Martha you did amazing. Felt the fear and did it anyway 💪 This is a dream of ours so can’t wait to follow you on this new chapter. You know to call or message if you decide to drive the Americas! We know you said it will be a long way in the future but knowing you two, you’ll decide in a heartbeat and be off on a big adventure next year 😍😅
You did absolutely fantastic Martha. I got my bike license at the age of 54. And thank god I did. It saved my sanity through our severe lockdowns in Melbourne Australia during bloody COVID. You go girl. Chick bikers are awesome. And remember always, practice makes perfect. And mistakes are how we learn. I made many and still do. I loved this video. Good luck guys ❤❤
Dear Martha well done young lady for passing your bike test it takes guts and mitch well done to you for keeping calm dude don't go camping any more book a static caravan it wod be more safer and warmer
Well done Martha! It takes a lot of courage to get on a motorcycle and ride on the road for the first time. But as you grow more confident and the fear of riding recedes, you will begin to appreciate the pleasure of riding and travelling by motorcycle. There will be falls and mishaps along the way but I have no doubt that you will get up and continue. I look forward to seeing you both on two wheels again.
I started motorcycling in 2004 and I think I was about your age then (Now 20 years older but still very young!) I started with ordinary streetbike. The first Norway trip I did in 2013 and first trip to the Alps in 2014. I was riding both streetbike and endurobike from 2015 until 2021 when I decided to sell my streetbike. Now riding Enduro (or Adventurebike) only. I've had few times a proper training day about Enduro riding and even I'm getting quite often the feedback that I'm a good rider I'm still thinking that I have a lot to learn!! Luckily now I'm slowly starting to be old enough so that I don't think I have to ride all the most amazing (and dangerous) places... I think I will be very happy with quite ordinary rides and places. But one thing I want to say to you is that I hope you will always stay humble about riding! Don't ever think "Now I got this, now I can do anything!" Even the best racing riders don't do that. They always think they have more to learn, they still can be better! Here's one video for you to watch. It's a Nowegian couple about your age. They were trainig quite a lot before they decided to start the adventure. They started their trip from North Cape 3 years ago and this video is from the second day: ruclips.net/video/eaxbMswyCEk/видео.html Motorcycling and adventures with the bike can be totally amazing and I really hope you will have all the great adventures ahead of you!!! Best regards from Finland! GozaMite, the Linesman of TET Finland.
Well done! Took me 5 years on learners to get my full motorbike license so you are doing very well. Getting the license and doing the tests was single handedly the hardest thing I have done. Hope you do a motorbike tour (without the van) like you did in Vietnam. Keep us posted on your adventures and all the best!
Hi Martha and Mitch, Great to see you both planning a new adventure. Just watched your latest video with Martha doing her bike test ,she did realy well. Hoping to do my motor bike test soon . Had an ap 50, years ago ,to ride to collage ,but never did my bike test.Shortly after 17 i did my driving test and had a car. Now i live in Austrlia with better weather i should get on and do my test. Love all the content both of you have produced, I'm sure your new adventure will be a great success.Even if your home on wheels has to be sold , im sure you will have another, most inportant you have each other, and your familys.Wish you well , and look forward to watching all your great new material. Mitch is a great guy ,and has a good sense of humor.Matha you are always up to try anything and give it ago well done. Bye for now Tim Melbourne.
she is doing very very well for not having any experience you just need to relax. just put some music on not to loud and go out by yourself and just drive, after about 1 week you'll notice a big difference in your confidence and will feel a lot better about your abilities.
The rattle at certain revs sounds like the cam chain tensioner not putting enough pressure on the chain. Not a major problem but needs sorting as it may put unnecessary wear on the cam chain. Worse case scenario the chain could break or jump and that would write the engine off. Hope you get it sorted 👍🏼
You 2 are inspiration if you don’t like something you change it . Martha you are doing great. Keep getting out on the bike. I’ve been a biker for 36 years I think you’re a brave girl. I look forward to watching your new adventures
Really happy that I stumbled across your channel while looking for Vietnam travel videos for inspiration whilst planning my own trip! I've binged watched more than 20 of your videos now, from 2am (Singapore time) to 6am and can't wait to watch more tomorrow. As a fairly new rider myself and having done the Hagiang loop, knowing how dangerous riding can be, I don't know if I'll ever feel comfortable in letting my girlfriend ride on her own and even taking her bike license. I reckon I'll be worried sick for her safety all the time. At this point I would be definitely more comfortable with her as my pillion. But someday maybe I'll be finally comfortable enough to encourage her to learn how to ride and I'll definitely use this series to show her that's it's entirely possible for her to learn and eventually go on bike trips with me. Your content is absolutely amazing and I can't wait to see more! ❤ from Singapore Alex :)
Congratulations Martha, when I did my CBT I pulled away for the very first time on a bike and did a wheelie!! 😳😳 You’re going to love it, nothing like the freedom of being on a bike 😊
Well done you two, what a lovely couple! I'm from Leicester but now living in sunny South Australia, love hearing you accents, is that East Midlands? So, I've got a van and big adventure bike. The van is quite basic just room to sleep and fit the bike inside. You could, as an option (and what I'd do) is take it in turns driving the van and riding the bike, having just one bike between you. Then you've always got somewhere to sleep and a place to brew up.
Good teamwork guys, good support mitch, I think Martha's going great Confidence is key and don't trust car drivers at all! As an idea ADV China channel the early videos with them riding around China... were really good maybe there is something you could take away from that. Good luck stay safe
First of all the sound wasn't bad at all. I personally would prefer more van life videos, but the same time I'm really excited about what your future adventures are going to offer. Seeing all your videos I'm sure we'll see some quality content, doesn't matter if you're on 2 or 4 wheels. Here's a fun fact. I follow you guys as well as Overlanding Sophia and by mistake I posted this comment under their video at first...😂
OMG! How absolutely brilliant! Martha is a superster, she is doing so well. I really wasn't expecting your decision, I thought maybe you'd just be taking the Grom along with the van in future, but you'vemade the best decision ever! I've been riding all my life and it's the best way to travel. I live in Croatia where I host off road riders from all over the world here in the countryside where there are fantastic trails all around. If you do come through Europe on the bikes, please do get in touch and I will happily host you and take you out on the local trails which are amazing. My top tip for Martha? Slow control. Really focus on that and you'll be all good for the difficult manoeveres in the tests com ing up and for off road, slow control is super important for avoiding drops on the rough trails. I'm really excited for you both and totally hooked now on your channel, which I've really been enjoying up until now anyway.
Thanks so much!! Ah that’s sounds epic, thanks for the offer!😜 we’ll keep you updated on when we’ll be passing through. We loved Croatia last time we were there in the van! Thank you, I’ve been practising for the past couple of days with the slow stuff and posted on insta some of my progress too, it’s coming together bettter now 🤞🏼😊
Excellent well done Martha ! You are doing fantastic. I know how you feel as i did a 5 day access course at LDC in Burton from never riding before. Best thing i ever did !! You and Mitch i wish all the best for your exciting bike journeys ahead !
Martha, You do get blown around on a little bike, once you get a heavier one you'll not notice the wind as much :) Love the idea of more options for travel videos:)
Great idea! Get Martha on a week long DAS / intense course. She'll pass no problem. Bigger bikes are easier to ride IMO. Can't wait to see you guys explore. How about a Norway / Sweden adventure too?
She’s all passed now after a 3 day DAS course, you can see that in our more recent vids! We’d love to do the TET from the North all the way South to South Africa!
Well done Martha- very brave and you'll gain confidence with each ride.I am sure you watch Itchy Boots already but she will give you great ideas.Mitch ,I've got a few on you and I would embrace the grumpy righteous ageing man .Give it a few years and you will be lobbing that rubbish straight back at the vendor , hell, you'll probably even bash out a trip advisor review when you get home. Exciting times , can t wait to see them !
This was a fun video! But it seems like all your videos are fun Martha and Mitch. I don’t think most of us care about the audio quality or the video quality or the bibs & bobs of problems, just go with the flow & try to enjoy yourself. Yes definitely someone also said it: don’t try to apologize so much. I love your stuff! 😊
Absolutely brill idea, try not to sell the van. Martha well done you, you really made that look easy I'm tempted to try myself. The New Mr & Mrs Itchy Boots. 🤭
I watch because it’s you not the van life, I enjoy the adventures and this looks like so much fun. Martha looked great for her first few rides out and the idea of a North to South America bike trip will have me hooked. Content was great, not sure what you meant about the noise it’s a bike? I guess you feel you can improve things. Happy watching Martha’s progress until you’re ready for the next big adventure. Your content is special and I hope your audience finds you quickly.
First 10 minutes im thinking No no no The van is amazing Last 10 minutes Im thinking yes yes yes This is going to be epic Good luck With this I think you will smash it ❤
Martha , please always remember to do your find “life safety” turns of your head when pulling away , particularly at junctions & leaving roundabouts , when watching you , you don’t appear to be doing this but that might just be the camera angle , enjoy & safe travels guys 😃
Don’t worry I’m doing this loads as it’s something I need great practise for my test. It’s just because the go pro is on my chest so you can’t see me moving my head. With the chin mounts you’ll be able to see this moving forward, thank you
My wife and I ride. She's been on and off over the years. I could say you don't need advice and will be a natural but in truth after 40 years I still learn every ride. *You go where you look* *Don't target fixate* *Power can get you out of trouble* *Learn to countersteer* Stay safe both of you 🙏👍
Great video again guys. I was impressed with the quality of the audio so don't stress! I've been riding since I was 17 (20 years) and it's the best feeling and best way to experience places so you guys will have the best time! Take it easy and enjoy it!
Hi guys, I know it might be a while off but being a South African and having travelled in Africa I think you guys would really enjoy it! Another great video, you guys are getting better every week. All the best :)
As a motorcycle traveller myself, who also did Vietnam on a motorbike, I can't wait for your new adventures! Ride safe 🤙. And Martha, you'll be completely fine, just get some miles under your belt.
I am downsizing from my caravan to just having my Transit van, I normally have 2 bikes in my transit and tow the caravan but now it will be just one bike in the Transit and I have made up a bed, fitted a small fridge and power station, just the basics, hopefully it will give me more travel options here in Australia. Towing a caravan that is 19’6” and weighs 2500kg is not fun, but to a degree living off a bike can be frustrating at times, cold and wet not fun and extreme heat not fun, but you gotta do what you gotta do, fun is where you find it, motorcycle travel is the best travel but it does have its negative side, battling through bad weather and bad roads make you dig deep, unlike a van when you can just stop and jump in the back to rest or sleep, on a bike you have to keep going , and sometimes that ain’t easy.
Well done on passing your cbt.The best advice is that you double check before moving off anywhere. It's the best pastime ever. The biker community are fantastic. Don't hesitate to ask them for any advice.Enjoy and be safe.🏍🏍
Thank you, yes I’m getting into practise with that for my test and in general too. I love the bikers nod on the road feel part of the community😂 thank you!
Awesome you are both doing bike vids now, and we'll done Martha for passing her CBT. I had a CRF300L, great bike, sips fuel - btw that rattle you had is very common on them, around 5000 rpm. Had it on mine too. Nothing to worry about apparently.
Love this, can’t wait for more adventures…… Mitch giggling away at Martha getting blown around in the wind 😂😂😂😂 it’s all experience and she’ll pick it up in no time.
This is so exciting, Martha you are doing amazing, looking forward to watching you progress to you full license, and your future adventures. Ride safe both of you.
Well I wasn't expecting that news! Been watching you guys for ages. Martha I can't believe you are already on the road. Get the most protective leathers you can. Be visible. Can't wait to watch your new journeys, you are sensibly taking your time. Brilliant!
Hi guys, dont worry about that rattle on the crf, I had the same with mine, between 5- 6k revs then it goes away. Characteristic of the engine. Best of luck with your travels. X
My thoughts.. I would keep the van and buy one duel sport bike and rent another one. Travel for a while on the bikes, then travel for a while with the van and a bike on the back. Back and forth for a few months at a time. For me personally, as a viewer, I prefer van content, even though I own a van and a duel sport. My wife and I enjoy your channel. Do whatever makes you happy, and everything else will fall into place.
Thank you, I think we’ll see as time goes on what’s going to fit best with us and we’ll go with that and just hope that it’s still entertaining and enjoyable to watch😊
Brilliant,is very easy to get a bit complacent when you get the hang of it,always be ready for(I didn’t see you) motorists!Dont be put off if you have a little tumble, maybe when maneuvering,we’ve all done it!riding a motorcycle is great fun, you’ll love it shortly!
Cracking job. There's nothing quite like riding a bike :) you'll love it, it does get easier once you get a slightly larger bike, gears are more forgiving and you don't have to work a slightly bigger bike quite so hard. Looking forward to following your biking journey(s)!
Go Martha! Love the biker vibe… you’re going to love it once you’ve gained some confidence, watch other road users very carefully, that’s where your greatest risks are. I’m excited to follow your journey together over the next few months. Xx
Sounds like a good plan - and the little CRFs are a smart choice. Maybe check out one of Austin Vince's events for a bit of big trip preparation? Best of luck out there 👍👍
Martha your a superstar 😅 you go girl you rode brilliantly….. and while you have no children go and experience everything you can… I absolutely love the pair of ya 😊
WOW this is going to be EPIC. Martha you're sooo brave and you're doing awesome👍. You will get even more confident each week... Ride safe both of you and remember to have fun.. atb Dixie❤
hmm motorcycling, it gets addicted quite fast, hello form Vietnam. it's kinda funny as i'm watching episode 6 of your Vietnam road trip and seeing your some of your latest videos are motorcycle related.
Love the idea especially because of how hilarious Martha is on the bike 😂 we’ve been chuckling the whole way through the video. She’s brill and a proper go getter. Can’t wait to see how you integrate van life with the bikes!
Just found your channel, you’re about to live out my dream! I’d love to travel overland by bike! I don’t think you have anything to worry about with the sound quality, background noise didn’t sound too loud to me! Good luck with the trip, will be following along!
I think your plans are great, looking forward to seeing them grow. Martha, you are doing brilliantly, especially for only your 3rd time out on the road. Much better than I did that’s for sure.
Another great watch well done on passing your cbt and so the adventure continues looking forward to whatever you both plan 🏍🏍😎 oh and mitch you should have taken them cold peas back and complained 100%👏👍
Hi guy’s you’ve done well Martha 🎉 congratulations on passing so far, I will endeavour to keep following you both because I feel like I know you both now and you feel like family lol, but to be honest iv never been a fan of motor bikes I did have one when I first left school many years ago now until I passed my car test, and the reason why I followed you and subscribe to your channel is because of van life 🚐 I fully understand about needing to jazz up the channel to keep it interesting but I worry you might lose subscribers when you sell your van and go full time onto bikes 🏍️ 🏍️ but heck what do I know lol 😂 I wish you both well with your new adventures and safe travels x
Thank you! We’ll be keeping both for a while and we’ll just see how it goes and hope the videos are still just as entertaining🤞🏼 who knows what will happen!
Just finished watching every video on your channel. Must have taken me near 4 weeks. Had a great time, you're both so easy to watch. Love the "Mitch" and "Mitchel!!!" moments. My favourite "Mitchel!!!" moment was on that bridge in Vietnam 🤣 Have you watched Ewan McGregor's and Charlie Bowman's biking series "The Long Way Round" and "The Long Way Down"? Sounds very similar to what you may be planning on doing? Mitch, are you a convert to the Macbook then? Or do you miss Windows?
You are doing fine. I got back into motorbikes in 2020 buying a crf250ralley and also being short (5’6” 29” inseam) I did find that it felt very tall, however you can get a lowering kit for it, takes it down 50mm which may help with confidence. I also took the bike over to Groningen (the Netherlands) where i was working and after 6 hours in the saddle I definitely needed the rest (maybe see if you can get a comfort seat on it if you are doing long days. Wind - on breezy days you will find that if you are overtaken by or overtake a big HGV vehicle the wind will catch you when you are clear, just be mindful. Potholes etc - if there is anything in the road that is a danger, do NOT look at it, concentrate on the line that you want to ride to avoid it because the bike will go where you look. Gear - you do not need all the latest technology, if you get layers, something warm close to the body, a jacket and trousers offering some protection and a lightweight waterproof store away jacket and trousers that you can put over when it is raining. Phone mount - I use quadlock complete with charging head and vibration damper (must have a vibration damper so that you don’t damage the phone camera) also get the weatherproof shroud because strange things happen when riding in the rain. Have a great time
Very cool plan, and well done Martha for smashing the theory and CBT! Loads of practice and you'll get your full license no problem. Can't wait to see more of you two bikers, it is such a great way to travel.
Don't worry about what other people think it's your life enjoy it. I've been riding for 45 years and sometimes I ride in walking boots and fingerless gloves. Utube seems to make people very on edge that someone will be making some negative comments. That's the beast that's utube. Relax and do whatever you want to do and enjoy the experience. Film whatever you want to film and stop apologising 😂 Will follow your journey..sounds exciting. I think you will find the sooner you are riding the CRF you will feel much safer on the roads. Groms are great but small wheels and limited suspension have their issues.
This is a sign!! About to book my CBT...a first on a bike for me too. We're watching Paddy Doyle on youtube, he's doing all 70+ provinces in Thailand on a Honda Dream 50cc. Worth watching, but maybe the length of Thailand would be cool?
So glad you have put your brave on lovely. You can do it. Give yourself a chance to learn and get confident. I’m looking forward to you guys doing this bike journey, can’t wait. Oh and there is a better bicky it’s a Tim tam.
Damn, had to wait until I finished work to watch. Martha, you bloody little legend 🎉 knew you'd smash it. Love the plans...an American or Sth American trip sounds ace. I think you did a fabulous job Martha and Mitch always supportive. Enjoyed the ride you did and camera and sound was totes good. You'll work out what suits best as you go. SUPER excited for what's to come. 😍🙏🏍️
Great to watch and hear about your future plans guys. Love seeing your life journey unfold. All the best Martha with your riding and hopefully getting that test passed ASAP. Just wish I was 30 years younger and having my great life so far, start all over again. Keep up the great videos. Regards Rob
Yes!! Looking forward to the moto adventures guys, well done Martha you're doing great! You could try the GoPro Jaws mount on the side of your handlebars to capture you and Martha behind, works great for us.
Fantastic plans Towing trailer behind the van My thoughts keep the van as well there could be those days or weeks you fancy a van holiday And you can always fly to Vietnam and ride bikes
Well done Martha! Bike licence is the only one I don’t hold! I’m very tempted! I took my Class 1 HGV test back in November and passed my PSV (coach license) 30 years ago 😂 ….. you may just have inspired me to crack on with it 😂……. Videos are brilliant by the way
I've done a lot of touring on bikes, and the best advice I can give is to stick with bikes that are physically small enough and comfortable enough for you to ride off road. I reckon Martha is going to struggle a lot on the 300, especially when it's loaded up with kit. The thing is though, you're on the road now! Nothing stopping you doing some touring of the UK as long as you avoid motorways, which is a lot easier than you may think. I knew a woman who toured Scotland on a CBT with full camping gear on a CG125. I would definitely recommend you doing a test trip on the bikes you've got now, especially if you're planning on carrying camping gear. Even if you can get your gear weight under 20kg it completely changes how the bike handles and how easy it is to ride. Also I live pretty close to you by the looks of it, more than happy to come for a ride out and share what litle knowledge I've built up over the years of bike touring/camping. Could even organise a biker subscribers meetup? 😂 Honestly looks like Martha is doing absolutely fine, I had similar niggles when I was new to road bikes, and I'd been riding trials since I was 13. Definitely did better on the CBT than most do who haven't ridden bikes before IMO.
Thank you, we’re going to add the lowering link to the bike and a different suspension kit to get me comfortable on it. I really want to learn off road and the crf will be perfect for that. Thank you, a bikers meet up would be so fun and something we should plan in the spring 🤪
Gotta be honest, as a van guy…I’m jealous!lol 😉 I’d love to do something like that!! The places you can get to and all the tracks and trails you go on will be epic!! So much more freedom with a bike I’d imagine! You absolutely smashed it Martha 👍🏼 fair play, hopefully your confidence will grow with more trips I’ll definitely follow along… I’ve already googled CBT prices and trail bikes whilst watching 😂
The excitement when we’re thinking about all them places is high!! Just so much more you can get to on two wheels compared to a lwb van😂 thank you so much!! Hahaha join the two wheel club🤪🏍️
Yay! But you guys are to polite, don’t apologize for xyz, I’m very happy just to follow along on your adventures. Video angles and audio isn’t that important, I’m sure you will improve, no need to constantly apologize. ❤
Thanks so much, we appreciate that. New chin mounts have come and already the filming is better from them, so excited to keep improving for you☺️
Totally agree
Brilliant video. So excited for you. Sound and vision were fine. Good luck.
Has somebody been watching ‘Itchy Boots’ ?
Glad to see you are both "dressing for the slide, not for the ride".
Yes guys!! Martha you did amazing. Felt the fear and did it anyway 💪 This is a dream of ours so can’t wait to follow you on this new chapter. You know to call or message if you decide to drive the Americas! We know you said it will be a long way in the future but knowing you two, you’ll decide in a heartbeat and be off on a big adventure next year 😍😅
Thank you so much!! Yes we’ll 100% be picking your brains, haha you’re catching on to exactly how we are, that’s so true 😂
You did absolutely fantastic Martha. I got my bike license at the age of 54. And thank god I did. It saved my sanity through our severe lockdowns in Melbourne Australia during bloody COVID. So very true, thanks so much🥰
The amount of friends you will make when riding, holding ride day meet ups to give advice to newcomers and the like. 👍
You guys rock. Traveling on two wheels is the best. Go slow, lots of stops, don't worry about trying to cover distance. Have fun.

Martha. You will be fine. Practice is all you need. Look forward to the upcoming adventures.
Thank you, practise makes perfect🤞🏼

Worse case scenario the chain could break or jump and that would write the engine off. Hope you get it sorted 👍🏼
Knowledge plus experience = WISDOM. Well done both and do take care of each other. xx
Yes! Thank you!
Every one started at the bottom, experience takes time, you’ll get there, make you a better rider. Safe one
You 2 are inspiration if you don’t like something you change it . Martha you are doing great. Keep getting out on the bike. I’ve been a biker for 36 years I think you’re a brave girl. I look forward to watching your new adventures

Well done, Martha. You need to believe in yourself more. You've done amazing. ❤
Thank you so much!
I think you are doing fantastic Martha, and Mich will look after you.
Yesssssss mitch gold bars are the elite biscuit 👌👌

Good teamwork guys, good support mitch, I think Martha's going great Confidence is key and don't trust car drivers at all! As an idea ADV China channel the early videos with them riding around China... were really good maybe there is something you could take away from that. Good luck stay safe
First of all the sound wasn't bad at all. I personally would prefer more van life videos, but the same time I'm really excited about what your future adventures are going to offer. Seeing all your videos I'm sure we'll see some quality content, doesn't matter if you're on 2 or 4 wheels.
Here's a fun fact. I follow you guys as well as Overlanding Sophia and by mistake I posted this comment under their video at first...😂
Thank you! Haha that’s so funny😂😂
Ah no way! Thank you so much🥰
Martha, You do get blown around on a little bike, once you get a heavier one you'll not notice the wind as much :)
Love the idea of more options for travel videos:)
Thank you, yes we love Itchy Boots! Haha times are changing for Mitch😂
I Think we might live in the same town 😂 . Well done Martha, welcome to the lady bikers club xx have fun you guys x
Hahaha no way! You might see us out on the road😜🏍️ thank you 😊
Congratulations Martha on getting your bike license etc and your doing really good while riding and talking etc 😢on your bike
Thank you!!
Thanks so much, we really appreciate it❤️
Absolutely brill idea, try not to sell the van.
Martha well done you, you really made that look easy I'm tempted to try myself.
The New Mr & Mrs Itchy Boots.
🤭
Hahaa I really don’t think I do I was so nervous 😂 let’s see how it goes 🤞🏼😝
I watch because it’s you not the van life, I enjoy the adventures and this looks like so much fun. Martha looked great for her first few rides out and the idea of a North to South America bike trip will have me hooked. Content was great, not sure what you meant about the noise it’s a bike? I guess you feel you can improve things. Happy watching Martha’s progress until you’re ready for the next big adventure. Your content is special and I hope your audience finds you quickly.
First 10 minutes im thinking
No no no
The van is amazing
Last 10 minutes
Im thinking yes yes yes
This is going to be epic
Good luck
With this
I think you will smash it
❤
This is the best comment ever🤪 and exactly what we’d anticipated happening and glad you’re excited for it! Thank you 😊😆
❤️thank you ,
for your fantastic videos week in week out
Can't wait
*You go where you look*
*Don't target fixate*
*Power can get you out of trouble*
*Learn to countersteer*
Stay safe both of you 🙏👍
Thanks so much, great advice. I’m looking forward to learning more and more each time
Great video again guys.
That’s great to hear!! Thank you☺️
That's a beautiful area for motorbiking - the Derbyshire Dales. I think I would be as nervous as Martha though. Bicycling or walking is more my pace!
The Derbyshire Dales are so beautiful and on our doorstep!
As a motorcycle traveller myself, who also did Vietnam on a motorbike, I can't wait for your new adventures! Ride safe 🤙.
And Martha, you'll be completely fine, just get some miles under your belt.
Awesome! Thank you!
1. click random video from youtube suggested. 2. oh that's a familiar CBT centre, i went there too!
Hahaha no way! Thanks for watching😃
Awesome you are both doing bike vids now, and we'll done Martha for passing her CBT. I had a CRF300L, great bike, sips fuel - btw that rattle you had is very common on them, around 5000 rpm. Had it on mine too. Nothing to worry about apparently.
Thank you and ah ok that’s good to know, cheers
Welcome to the club!
Love this, can’t wait for more adventures…… Mitch giggling away at Martha getting blown around in the wind 😂😂😂😂 it’s all experience and she’ll pick it up in no time.
True love at it’s finest 😂😂
This is so exciting, Martha you are doing amazing, looking forward to watching you progress to you full license, and your future adventures. Ride safe both of you.
Thank you so much!
Only 2.40 mins into this video. And wow. So cool. So happy for you both. What a life to have. Great stuff.
Wish you both the best 👍👍👍🏍️🏍️🏍️🏍️
Thanks so much!
Ha ha you just gone through my home town - Uttoxeter !! Well done Martha - welcome to being a lady biker !!
Our home town too🤪 thank you!!
Well I wasn't expecting that news! Been watching you guys for ages. Martha I can't believe you are already on the road. Get the most protective leathers you can. Be visible. Can't wait to watch your new journeys, you are sensibly taking your time. Brilliant!
Thanks so much!
It was the Vietnam trip that made me subscribe and although the van trips were great they were nothing compared to that trip.
Exactly how we felt, hoping combining the two will be the perfect mix🤞🏼
Hi guys, dont worry about that rattle on the crf, I had the same with mine, between 5- 6k revs then it goes away. Characteristic of the engine. Best of luck with your travels. X
Good to know, thank you!
Great developments!! 🙏. Look forward to seeing the bike trips!!
Can't wait!
Yes of course, got to be patient with the process and enjoying the ups and the downs! Loving it more and more each time!
Xx
Thank you!
Sounds like a good plan - and the little CRFs are a smart choice. Maybe check out one of Austin Vince's events for a bit of big trip preparation? Best of luck out there 👍👍
Thanks for the tip, we’ll check it out! Thank you😊
Martha your a superstar 😅 you go girl you rode brilliantly….. and while you have no children go and experience everything you can… I absolutely love the pair of ya 😊
Thank you so much!!
WOW this is going to be EPIC. Martha you're sooo brave and you're doing awesome👍. You will get even more confident each week... Ride safe both of you and remember to have fun.. atb Dixie❤
Thanks so much!❤️
Absolute love it you two are so inspiring pure gold and for them chips should have chucked them at them lol 😂 take care.
Haha thanks so much!
hmm motorcycling, it gets addicted quite fast, hello form Vietnam. it's kinda funny as i'm watching episode 6 of your Vietnam road trip and seeing your some of your latest videos are motorcycle related.
Love the idea especially because of how hilarious Martha is on the bike 😂 we’ve been chuckling the whole way through the video. She’s brill and a proper go getter. Can’t wait to see how you integrate van life with the bikes!
The nerves were real😂😂 thank you so much!
Just found your channel, you’re about to live out my dream! I’d love to travel overland by bike! I don’t think you have anything to worry about with the sound quality, background noise didn’t sound too loud to me! Good luck with the trip, will be following along!
Welcome aboard! Thank you😀
and great to see the subscription numbers going up by the week.....almost 20k now!.....hats off
I know it’s so crazy to us!! Thank you!
Do whatever makes you happy, let life take you wherever it leads. More than happy to follow and see whatever happens next.
Thank you so much❤️
I think your plans are great, looking forward to seeing them grow. Martha, you are doing brilliantly, especially for only your 3rd time out on the road. Much better than I did that’s for sure.
Thank you so much!
Martha, you are doing great, you will get over the jitters.
Thank you, I hope so
You did great, Martha! I think a trip to South Africa would be absolutely amazing.
Thank you!! It’s a dream of ours so I hope we can make it happen🤞🏼
I am in South Africa. Let me know if you need some help with anything.
We hope to see you in Morocco one day.take care
Well, that came out of leftfield!......i think the bike idea is great....if it's half as entertaining as your Vietnam series you're onto a winner! 😎🤟
More to come, thank you!
Another great watch well done on passing your cbt and so the adventure continues looking forward to whatever you both plan 🏍🏍😎 oh and mitch you should have taken them cold peas back and complained 100%👏👍
Thanks so much!!
Fingers crossed! Thanks so much!
You will smash it! Another fab video 😁
Thank you!! 😁
Well done for getting your CBT .Looking forward to your bike adventures....Stay safe.
Thanks, will do!
Film whatever you want to film and stop apologising 😂
Will follow your journey..sounds exciting.
I think you will find the sooner you are riding the CRF you will feel much safer on the roads.
Groms are great but small wheels and limited suspension have their issues.
Well said, Thanks so much ☺️
This is a sign!! About to book my CBT...a first on a bike for me too. We're watching Paddy Doyle on youtube, he's doing all 70+ provinces in Thailand on a Honda Dream 50cc. Worth watching, but maybe the length of Thailand would be cool?
Thanks so much! We watch Paddy and also looked into this, the possibilities are so endless with Motorbikes we can’t wait 😆
By FAR my favorite youtube channel right now, reminds me of Top Gear or something
Thank you so much!!! This comment means so much🥹
So glad you have put your brave on lovely.
Hahaha 😂😂 thanks so much!! ❤️
2 very nice bikes there
Great to watch and hear about your future plans guys. Love seeing your life journey unfold. All the best Martha with your riding and hopefully getting that test passed ASAP. Just wish I was 30 years younger and having my great life so far, start all over again. Keep up the great videos. Regards Rob
Thanks so much Rob, fingers crossed🤞🏼
Brilliant vlog, can't wait to enjoy you going on proper adventures in this way. Well done Martha you did really well 🎉
Thank you🥰
I think you're doing great, Martha! I'm looking forward to seeing all the road trips on bikes to come! 😊
Yes!! Looking forward to the moto adventures guys, well done Martha you're doing great! You could try the GoPro Jaws mount on the side of your handlebars to capture you and Martha behind, works great for us.
20k subs!...woohoo!! 🍻 well done you two ....smashing it 👏🚵🚵
Thank you 🙌
Fantastic plans
Towing trailer behind the van
My thoughts keep the van as well there could be those days or weeks you fancy a van holiday
And you can always fly to Vietnam and ride bikes
Thanks! We’ll see what the bank account allows for at the time I think haha
Well done Martha! Bike licence is the only one I don’t hold! I’m very tempted! I took my Class 1 HGV test back in November and passed my PSV (coach license) 30 years ago 😂 ….. you may just have inspired me to crack on with it 😂……. Videos are brilliant by the way
Hahah do it! Congrats on passing your HGV! Thank you😊
Yesssss. Can’t wait to see the bike training and journey
Honestly looks like Martha is doing absolutely fine, I had similar niggles when I was new to road bikes, and I'd been riding trials since I was 13.
Good on you both and yes I’ll be watching, I’ve been riding from 50cc to 750cc and it all comes with practice and experience 👏🥳
Thank you!
Another brilliant video. Love the plans and Martha, you are knocking it out of the park. All you need is to keep getting out there and riding. 😊
Yes! Thank you!
Gotta be honest, as a van guy…I’m jealous!lol 😉 I’d love to do something like that!! The places you can get to and all the tracks and trails you go on will be epic!! So much more freedom with a bike I’d imagine!
You absolutely smashed it Martha 👍🏼 fair play, hopefully your confidence will grow with more trips
I’ll definitely follow along… I’ve already googled CBT prices and trail bikes whilst watching 😂
The excitement when we’re thinking about all them places is high!! Just so much more you can get to on two wheels compared to a lwb van😂 thank you so much!! Hahaha join the two wheel club🤪🏍️
very excited for you both, more adventures the better and if Bikes is the way to go then I cant wait.
Amazing, thank you!
