The 70’s was by far the best era for music. This brings back memories of my youth and my first love. I’d love to go back. Robbie Williams was right youth is wasted on the young
God, the arrangement on this is so good! Joe Simon's rich, expressive voice, the exquisite harmonising of the backing singers, the soaring strings and all in time to the infectious beat. Never got the recognition it deserved (US: no.37; UK: no.14).
superb choon;; reminds me of a love I lost in 72-3 I was probably too young being 15' at the time' wish I'd told her how I really felt then '' actually still feel the same now after all these years'' so bitter sweet memories for me'' like a lot of us we would go back in the blink of an eye if we could'' I would do things differentely that's for sure......soulgray''' ktf.

Happy birththday to Bishop Joe Simon! Though he no longer performs R&B music, his great records of the '60s and '70s are favorites of mine. This is one of the first Joe Simon records I remember.
Not heard this song since I was thirteen and it was a huge hit in the UK. What a great soul number. Very danceable, which is probably why it was Simon's only UK hit.
Heard this about 1 month ago at walls club Gloucester, that was first time in probably 30years and it reminded me what a great soul track that was. John. Glos
