I bought my first one a little more than 25 years ago when I was 15. I'm 40 now and this was on the first one that came out. I miss Butterball. RIP to him. He and Jerry Blavat were the only white radio boys who truly knew what it was all about when it came to R&B and black music listeners.

My dad loved this song so much he went to Rasputin and searched through archives because he couldn’t remember the name of the band. Placed a special order to get the cd and sang at the top of his lungs with the music blasting in his 2000 S550 merceders Benz with all the windows down. When I play this song I channel the same energy when I miss him the most ❤

Grew up with Booker on St. Louis Ave in Youngstown. I thought he was going to be the next Bill Russell, a basketball legend. His dad was a Ted Mack Amateur Hour alum, and you would hear the two of them singing, their voices filling the air with pure inspirational and relaxing lyrics. I was saddened to learn of his recent passing but know that he continues to make heaven an even more special place with his inspirational voice. RIP my friend.
