Perfect summary as usual. Bravo!
Just what I need as I'm sitting here preparing for a HUGE presentation. Now, I'm excited;)!
Thanks
so how did it go after 2 years - are you a corporate lawyer now?
@@Bugsbunny808 haha.. No, I burned out and am still working on my recovery! Still, HUGE life insights as a result of this whole lide hick-up!
I’m an ER doc - life saving situations ONLY occur “under high pressure situations” - I’ve never lost a life in the ER - some feed off pressure
The points he got from the book is usually very high density and summarized. It should not be treated as a list or checkpoint, rather topics to for you to think about and develop in your life. This is what I got from watching a lot of these.
This is most definitely my favorite youtube channel!!! I'm addicted to your videos!!!! I wish I discovered you sooner. It doesn't make sense how you don't have MILLIONS of subscribers. KEEP UP THE AMAZING JOB!!!!! I'M TRULY GREAT FULL!!!
You are just awesome! These small videos are quite inspiring and motivating.
One question: How much time do you take to read a book?
read the book deepak?
@@johnrebeiro1066 yes
@@deepk82 great
Hello, the way you describe them makes me to read all these books. Thank you for this shrinked knowledge
Great videos ,practical & useful information , professional presentation.
Thank you very much😘
Excelent job! That was one of the most creative and effective videos I’ve seen from you! Keep going, you have it under control😊
Thank you for summarizing this book, now I want to read it.
This was just incredible. What an amazing video. Love your content. You deserve more than 58k subscribers. You said that before you start a speech you only worry about controlling your breath and posture. Can you please tell me what is exact nature of breathing and posture one should maintain while giving speech.. And how much practice is ideal?
Hi Joseph, I like to nasal box breathe before a high-pressure moment (4 seconds in, 4 second hold, 4 seconds out, 4 second hold) and fix my posture by keeping my shoulders back and head up. The ideal amount of practice is enough practice that allows you to perform without thinking (enter a state of flow while speaking).
You make book more easier to understand
You got a lovely sounding voice, too! :) Helpful videos with nice voice....
Very informative. I loved the fact you used science based facts... I learned a lot
Thanks. These videos are great!
You are a seriously talented individual Im loving these videos
Thank you for this great content !
Very insightful and helpful. Awesome video and style!
You are really great at what you do. If you continue this i'm sure you are going to be big.
I agree with last two strategies but excitement has its adverse effects if things don't turn out as per your expectations. we need to calm down as nothing is more important than peace of mind. Which directly effects your focus & standard behavior in any circumstances
Great video from such great person . thank you
Stoicism is all about focusing on what you can control and there are modern scientific versions of it, e.g. Pigliucci, Massimo.
Thanks man , it was very good
"Leave it to the Tao."- Lao Tzu said this against vigilantism, saying that if you play the executor you may get hurt.
I’m going to read this book. Thank you for your time and summary.
finished?
@@johnrebeiro1066 yup! Its a great book
nathan , maybe you can include this book "The Way We're Working Isn't Working" by tony schwarz in your book summary list , and i am already excited thinking about it .
GREAT JOB
That is a great book! I highly recommend it as well!
1) I can fix this with enough heavy metal.
2) Performing to lots of people is the same as performing to a few of your friends...
3) Because those people don't really matter.
Good recap Loved it
Thank you Nathan!!!
that was an awesome summary. u deserve more than 58K subscribers ! :-)
Awesome summary!!!
Thank you.
This is gold
Could you please share us , how to make videos the best like this , and what kind of tools or software need to use.
Great work! Overall I would caution against portraying public speaking as a "performance" and equating it to a "rehearsal". Those who view it as a conversation and not a performance exhibit significantly less anxiety.
This was really good!
Great info, Nathan! Now it's over to us to put this stuff into practice! Let's do it. :)
Great summary ! Thanks ! Could you do a condensed review of Jessica Abel's Growing Gills at some point ? Best
You've been doing a great job!
I love your videos.. Good job.. Keep it up!
Another excellent video!

I like the taste of your videos-.
Great video.
Very useful, thanks

Queen performed Under Pressure better than anyone. Prove me wrong.
I tell people that no one works better under pressure, and they seem shocked. What do you say to people who think they need some pressure to perform well?
I love it! Dont mind sharing any link to donate something. I am happy to do so
God bless u bro
Epic thanks
Awesome
superb vedio
this kinda contradict MEASURE WHAT MATTERS by John Doerr with setting crazy goals etc. Guess there is no one fits for all approach
All depends on context. Just like most quotes are useless, because most of them are out of context. So yeah, you still have to use your own discretion.
Great
The control one ain’t doing any favors for my mad OCD 😭
Nice
For some reason, the first solution sounds contradictory to the last two.
