What feels really weird with this marriage is how it's done. It looks like the hero never actually marries Gemma, he instead have Drustan alter reality to make it so that they have been married. While Gemma's memory has been altered to accommodate the new reality, it seems the hero's memory is unaltered, meaning he didn't get to experience the wedding. This can get embarrassing if Gemma asks questions about things he did in her, but not his, memory, like "do you remember what you told me during our wedding night?"
Heck, why does he even need Drustan's help? If Gemma is willing to marry him, proposing to her should do the trick and has the bonus of actually letting him experience the wedding. If there's any chance she would have said no, the hero has to be a scum to make the marriage go trough anyway via supernatural means.

Lol during the trials thought all the wishes were going to be different for each trial so I got most my wishes from the first trial.

You can go to either Trials and you will see Drustan again, he will ask you to fight another boss and will grant another wish for you. As you can see most of the 5 wishes were granted already for me.-MD
Do you gotta be maxed level to do all this?
No just rebuild Cobblestone and wish for it after a trial boss.

Gemma has a longer relationship with the mc more than any of the party memeber. She's irrelevant from the adventure but she has always been with the mc since childhood. It's not forced at all, but rather poor writing and lack exposition.

@@KanemiX3 When somebody has almost no interaction with the person they're married to in the actual game, it feels kinda forced. I'd rather marry Jade, who has loved you since you were a baby, swears her life to be by your side, and will never let you come to harm. That sounds a bit more lovely than little miss boring NPC here.

Nobody wants to marry Gemma. Gimme Jade. They had way more chemistry and seemed like it was meant to go somewhere. Besides why would he return to such a boring backwater village after traveling the world in adventure. He's a prince not a farmer.
