Thanks This is a walk around and ride review of the 2006 Triumph Scrambler 900
Triumph have a fantastic habit of nailing a bike in terms of its styling and in 2006 they absolutely smashed it out of the ballpark with the beautiful Scrambler. Based on the firm’s iconic 1960s off-roaders that were made even more famous by Steve McQueen riding one in the 1964 International Six Day Trial (ISDT), this modern take on the scrambler theme arrived before everyone else jumped on the bang wagon and made the scrambler name as common as muck. However as well as making the bike look good, Triumph also gave their modern classic its own unique feel.
I am hoping to buy me a Good used Scrambler next year!
They are a nice classic bike! I hope you find the perfect bike!
You’ll love it! I could buy me the last model of the Scrambler 900 in 2016. It’s a beautiful and powerful bike. Not for going so fast and has limited off road capability. Enough for having lots of fun!
You need to buy an Arrow exhaust 2:1 on that bad boy. Makes your bike sound like a roaring Lion.
that would make for a better sound for sure!
Thanks for the Tip!
and thanks for checking out the video
carbs are great because now you dont have to mess with that pesky fuel injection lol
Exactly!
Ayo 69th "like"👍! Nice 👌

The carbs are messed up, look how blue the exhaust pipes are. The thing is running too rich.
Thanks, for the tip, I had always felt that would be the case too!
as it turns out (and looking in to this a bit) chrome exhaust will "blue" or discolor when the surface temperature reaches 900°F. This temperature can be reached with a Lean, rich or property jetted engine, a down side of having a chrome exhaust system.
Was this bike running rich or lean? I don't remember, but it was off just a bit as I remember, it was tuned after this video
Thanks
