Hahaha that was priceless. "I can't lean anymore. Just tilt the camera"
That's moto filmmaking 101 right there haha. ~RF9
Thought it was "I can't 'learn' anymore.
Just tilt the camera"
Lol
He could have pulled his feet back a little. The boots touched down, not the pegs.
Johan, I thought the point was that he couldn’t lean any further when clearly he could have leaned quite a bit further.
I can get way lower, although all the naysayers call it 'lowsiding', and 'outragiously stupid', but I get down so low I scrape the gas tank. Try me bro!
You guys should go the Doug Demuro way and borrow bikes from people if the manufactures won't give them to you! Amazing video as always!
This is a good idea. Paging FortNine fans in Vancouver... ~RF9
Only if you give it a "Doug Score" at the end!
FortNine too bad you guys weren't closer to Michigan. I have a 2018 Suzy you could use. 😜
GREAT idea.
FortNine you can borrow my FZ-10 if this is the sort of awesome content you keep coming up with! Hit me up if your interested. And welcome to the west coast Ryan from another north van rider.
“The transmission is a box full of neutrals”....my chuckle for the day 😏
Indeed. i wonder if there are more neutrals than in my Moto Guzzi from the 80s....
Everyone just gonna ignore the fact that they made 2 videos in one? That promo was actually sick
I don't think anyone is ignoring it just was pretty obvious that was the entire goal of this video and the 'gag'. So calling it out is a bit - oh cool story Capt Obvious.
@@BadazzShovelhead 477 people disagree with you
3 videos actually. Don't forget this is actually a review of the T100
@@Jumbocombo Cool. Majority doesn't make right, my man. Right does. And you're both right. It was both cool and the joke.
This parody of promo videos shines light on how pretty much every reviewer has to sacrifice some integrity to be competitive, love it.
Yes, but it also shows how they really don't have to as well.
@@uthrus Not everyone can be as gifted as F9.
Ryan showing great skill riding that street bike in deep beach sand, no matter how torquey and friendly that engine is...
Have you seen where J.C.Van Damme went with a Boneville?
I initially thought “that’s about as Torquay as it was in Point Break”. Then, “ahhhh torque/y”. Then, “hang on his surfing. On a beach that looks like it’s straight from the movie. The largest a,pint of confusion in the least amount of time. Yes. I’m baked.
Edit Torquay is the surf town with Bells Beach.
@@kize32 was that a Bonneville from his movie "Nowhere To Run"? I know he had a Triumph.
Finding out that turbine engine god watches motorcycle & production value god(s) wasn't on my list today, but here we are!
"Now laugh, or you won't get any dinner."
"Authentic!!"
“So funny”
-Iosef Stalin, probably
I run a T100(before the T120 was introduced), i went from sports bikes and wanted to slow myself down, cant fault it for a simple all rounder, always puts a smile on my face and its perfect for open visor, country lane, long sweeping fun, its a back to basics kind of bike and thats why i love it.
I recently did the same thing. I went from a Ninja to the T100. I’m 53 and don’t need to be riding like a hooligan anymore. The Bonnie is such a nice around town bike.
I have the T120 and gave up ADV top heavy boring machines (Vstrom, R1200 GS) for something which is an absolute joy to ride everytime. Short trips, back roads, highway, long distance. It's motorcycling with real soul, and high grin factor.
I’m 100% sure Ryan and the Fortnine team could make a video about belly button fluff and it would still be one of the best videos on RUclips.
Ben Tate OMG 🤣 That is so true!
Unfortunately, Ducati won't provide a bike...
I would watch that
I hope that he accepts this challenge for april fools next year
Haha, I love how every F9 moto review is so unique!
His promo was actually very good.
They are video essays, or short movies. The scripts are very good.
They're bloody good, the best out there
Hey Danny wassup.
Great Rossi impersonation...Sounded just like him.
Just toss an "alloraaaa..." and a "poosh very 'ard" in there and he's got it!
Dude what planet did you come from? Talent, charisma, smart, funny, and fresh all wrapped in great production value. Love what your doing, well done.
His office is inside the ladies washroom XD
Glad someone spotted that. ~RF9

Saw it. Laughed.
Where do ladies actual go for washroom then?
@@FortNine basicly the first thing i spotted haha
Box full of neutrals... 😂😂😂
its not...The gearbox is amazing. Butter smooth
Interesting. Mine was awful. ~RF9
FortNine: Hmm. Ive ridden 2017 t100 2018 t100. 2016, 2017 and 2018 t120. And 2 street scramblers. On alll of them i loved the clutch and gearbox. Smooth as hell and a really nice feel
whenever I hear box full of neutrals I remember the guy martin interview after his crash in the isle of man tt 2017
eberbacher007 yeah same here :D
Can we all just stop and appreciate the effort and time put in the making of the videos. This is just levels above the top class.
Gold. That Valentino impersonation was pure gold!
"Yesss this isss valentino yorr contryyymann"
This intro was dope! Y’all are serious cinematographers. The Italian accent was hilarious too.
The accent was pretty spot on !!
Ya, Rossi ALWAYS uses the word funny in place of fun! Probably not the best impression to try to get a Ducati, though. Maybe the only one that would be worse is Iannone. :-)
Tbh I think it sounded more like a french accent ;) Still really funny tho
Ze uhh, yamahas, they're not funny

@@waltermorgenroth7872 Being an American and a fan of RF9 and co. I don't really think that matters much.
I totally agree with you.
How the hell hasn’t Ryan been snaffled up by Netflix for his own series!! Always learning some new camera tricks too! 👍
I like how the gearing shot was not only timed to the beat but also accurately portrayed the short gears. The whole video was really well done. You guys are a blast.
Ryan, I can’t say enough positive things about you and your team. Thoroughly entertaining and informative at the same time. It is a complete gift to my life that your content is about motorcycles!, if it wasn’t, I would’ve missed out on your bottomless creativity. I LOVE YOUR CHANNEL!
As someone who is genuinely scared of the smallest patch of gravel, seeing ryan go "offroad" on every bike he rides is just majestic to me
You should try some! its not that hard and it greatly improves your skill! It'll help if you lock your rear wheel or your reaction to sliding! On asphalt it's like grip grip grip grip, slip shits on fire sudden grip again. But on gavel it's all smooth you can position yourself give more weight to the front and let it slide :) Also its sooo much fun!
@@MaxMustermann-bm7qt Couldn't agree more. In 3 years, I had ONE big rear slide under hard braking on a highway, and I think it gave me a mini heart attack. Compare that to dirt riders who never seem to be going in the direction their wheels are pointed (never mind MotoGP riders like MM93), and it totally bears out what you said about skill improvement.
What kind of motorcycle did you begin with on dirt/gravel?
@@UVjoint Depends on the kick you want, and the budget. I started with a klx250 2013, which is veeeryyy weak and heavy (120kg, which is a lot for dirt in combination with very little torque). But it was enough for 2 years. Generally there are three roads to pick. 2-stroke enduro, 4 stroke enduro/sumo and the dual-sport. The two-stroke is by far the lightest/quirkiest around 95kg and endless torque. But it is also the wierdest from the engine characteristics (i.e. no engine break/ wierd torque to rpm dependency)./ I personally prefere the 4-stroke. They usually come in 350 and 450cc. While the first is enough for all offroad terrain I ever encountered, the latter is more "comfortable" on the highway (gear ratio) and overall faster. You can also go for the 4 stroke travel endouro or the 700cc ish supermotos. Which work great but are too big and heavy for me (65kg) guy. I think there are currently a honda dual sport as 450cc and nothing much else. As mentioned above, my kawa was not ideally fitted for the dirt nor for the street. It was a classic compromise in that is wasn't great on dirt or on the road. If you wand to do some donats on the dirt, a normal bike (old, because paint) or scrambler will do. For light dirt and small trees, an old/used dual sport (You do not want a high performance engine for maintenance) will do. If you really want to get into the dirt, the cheapest option for new bikes are swm (base 2009? Husqvy). Beta has a beginners 2-stroke (X-Trainer), and KTM has the freeride (4 stroke). Gas gas might also have something cheap. I do not advise you to buy a used 'real' (high-performance) bike except, when you know the pre-owner they require much more maintenance and care than i.e. my old kawa that never had any issues. If i could start again/ my next bike will prob. be a 350cc 4stroke husqvy (bc. i want the 4-stroke and the clutch is hydralic, the suspension is slightly better than the x-trainer i own, but this are marginal upgrades for around 2000$). Hope this might give a brief overview of some possibilities. Cheers
@@MaxMustermann-bm7qt Thanks so much for the detailed reply!
I got into riding in the dirt because I rode my first bike, a road bike, through a gravel parking lot and had the time of my life. Now I'm a hardcore ADV lover and KLR fanboy.
Not enough praise in my dictionary for this quality and well thought out production
We love you ryan ❤️
Don't forget the Dude behind the scenes; Aneesh Shivanekar
I guess I am just old school, I love Triumphs.
So do I. My next bike is a T120, hopefully this week.
Ironic
Me too Bruce, ….. me too. 😁👍🏻
same, but with any cruiser/harley
I also love them, (from afar!) but when I eventually get off my 125cc 10hp beast machine (lol) I hope to upgrade to a big black naked street triple, but one of the older models, not one that looks like a new electric shaver, the new ones really don’t do it for me!
This, along with all of your content, is stunning! I really appreciate the meticulous attention to detail, along with the professional-quality videography/cinematography/screenwriting! The combination of your knowledge and skill makes for a very unique, stimulating learning experience throughout each video you publish. Excellent work, as always! Thank you for your dedication to the craft, it is truly inspiring!

Man, the quality of your videos just keeps getting better and better! So many funny things but I think I liked the "box full of neutrals" comment the most...
I've got a 2014 T100 and love it. She isn't the fastest or best handling but something about this bike just makes you smile when you ride it. When I want to go fast, I pull out my other Triumph which is a 2001 Sprint ST with a ton of hop-up mods. Fun bikes indeed. LOVE this channel!
Love your style man..... I can't help thinking that you would have made a perfect teacher, no one would have been late to any of your lessons mate! 😄👍
I would actually buy a T100 after seeing this promo! Great video!
Right heh?
see this Ducati? now lend us a bike!
Yeahhh that's not gonna happen haha. ~RF9
Want mine?
Lucky escape tbh.
They should be asking you to review their bikes, instead of the other way around. Hell, you somehow got me interested in a 950 Scrambler!
Anyone else catch the 5 up shifts that put him into the elusive 6th gear during the promo video? Lol
He was just shifting through the box full of neutrals.
Brilliant, witty writing, beautiful shots and editing. Love how each F9 video is so unique and engaging.
Quality, engaging unique content as usual, so much more interesting and entertaining to watch than the bland procession of 10 mile test ride “first impressions”.
It ain't easy shooting out in the cold. I tip my hat to you sir. love your style and asthetic.
Amen to that. Although after the DOT video, this one felt like the Bahamas. ~RF9
So nice to see someone on RUclips who appreciates the importance of good storyboarding.
Just had the good fortune to stumble onto your channel. I have never not owned a bike (or three) since 1969 and have seen/done everything bike related since before and after the internet was invented. You guys rock and have the best channel on RUclips. You deserve to be at a million subs and climbing and I hope you get there soon. A sub from me felt like an inadequate gesture. Awesome to see local scenery in your vids too! You have the talent to go a long way and I wish you and your channel a speedy journey. Thumbs up!
I just love these vids man, just pure authentic..... Ehh,
who am i kidding. I’m from Sweden, so just thank you guys

I'm getting into bikes recently. Has it stayed good, and would you recommend it for a new biker?
@@lego856 It was my first bike. I have gotten 3 others since. (love bikes) I high recommend it for new biker, since you dont have to exchange for a better bike, and its really easy to ride

Wow, as always entertaining and informative. That promo near the end was priceless! As a old school road rider enjoy watching your channel the best. As others and I aggree Ryan and your team great work of talent(s).
This feels like Triumph gave you a bike and said “Roast me”! And they loved it!
Vancouver: When I arrived in Vancouver my friend pointed toward North Van and said, "If you can see the mountains, that's north. If you can't, it's raining!" Good work guys. Ronn
Dude, I’m glad I got back into riding motorcycles. If I hadnt, I would have never found your channel! Thanks for the GREAT videos! You and your team do a awesome job!
Ryan, I have been working in the video production world for over 20 years, and (while under my headphones) this video forced me to laugh loud enough to raise the suspicion of my coworkers about what I was doing at 10:30am. Thanks for almost geting me fired man! Keep up the good work, and let me know if your ever filming in Winnipeg. "Box full of neutrals".......love it!
After this video officially there is one way to call motorcycle enthusiasts who are not fake and are the best at rating, showing, exploring and presenting the bikes in the most creative way, and this is: Ryan F9 and his whole team :)
PS
Wooow, this video has hit the spot on so many levels.. Mind blown :)
I feel this bizarre need for a T100 in my life now...
...great vid dude, probably the best bike promo I've ever watched!
I’m a T120 owner but i still thoroughly enjoy your video’s and your take on the world / ride. You are really a good dude.
This guy is so eloquent in using his words that you always need to wait till the end if a pre could be a con and vice versa..My best friend owns a 900 thruxton and when he got bored of it, bought a 1200R as well..I like the retro style looks of them both..But they are heavy non flickable pigs compared to a ktm950 or the Ducati Desert Sled which I enjoy to ride..But each his own;-)
Amazing top quality production as always. You and your team is hands down the best bike content creators on YT.
Alrighty...going out of character...now:
Dude, this was so good in so many levels! Loved the scripting, sarcasm and well just about every aspect of this VDO. To think this is from a Motorcycle retailer...It was dope. From the rain to snow to 6 foot 3 inch surfing dude, I ate every nanosecond of it. Not sure if it's the wine, whiskey or beer I had tonight, but just sayin' . So no, your Promo shot did not work for me one bit... I'm now going to buy a T100 RIGHT now, despite not wanting one at all.
Good work FortNine (Ryan F9), keep up your passion for us riders out there.
... Back in Character...Now.
PS. Miss your Ride Days @ Jos Patate in Grenville.
Since I first saw a Fort9 video on RUclips, you guys became my favorite channel. Plenty of useful info and I like your humor. One can see you also enjoy doing the job. Btw the final cut you show at the end here is awesome. Not that the rest isn’t :) great job! Keep it up mate
Your productions are really getting awesome!!! Keep up the good work. I had a break from F9 for a while, but got back intoo you channel again lately, simply because its just awesome the way you present, film, edit, give facts(and real facts) and make it entertainable :)

Once again, the most creative reviews out there. Ryan and gang, you guys are breathing new life into the industry and leading the way.
Gosh. Your vids just keep getting better and better and SO much more entertaining than literally all others’. Bravissimo!
I've watched a ton of your videos, but this one stands out for enjoyment. Nothing in particular, it's just perfectly made. Superb!

Stickin' it to Ducati. Very nice F9.
I loved this review! "Box full of neutrals" - hillarious! I like your style of reviews, I think I watched all your youtube videos, and from time to time I need to come back to some of them, they are so good!
BTW, I just traded in my Tiger 800 for a Scrambler 1200, because I love the Bonnie, but I needed more practicallity. (Yeah, I know, that exhaust will fry my leg, but I am living in Bavaia, Germany, so we don't have so many crazy hot days here, and for me that exhaust looks sexy!)
Keep the videos coming and I'll make sure I wont miss any of them!
The final clip was iceing on the cake ..Thanks . I gave up a 1700 Road Star for a little Street scrambler this year and feel completly set free..I Ride 20% dirt roads 10% highway and 70% really bumpy back roads .. If you can afford only one bike you pick the bike that fits your main use and laugh at what it cant do with love for what they do so well .. A T100 can do so much .. I might need my 29" inseam to get comfortable on the thing .. Thanks again , Guy
Was that a British Customs, after market, extended surf seat you were laying on? I need one of those for my Speedmaster. Does it come with twin trained squirrels to shift and apply the rear brake? Gotta say, best motorcycle promo video EVER.
