Probably the only guy who earned all his subscribers without begging them to subscribe.
Shouldn't have to ask someone to like your video either that's not how it works
@@chrishart8548 almost every other youtuber does this except for this one
@@alirehman4829 almost every one of them has added about 15 advertisements
Love the Scorsese tone
So stupid to ask, I’ve never once subscribed because somebody reminded me in their video. Don’t get why people do this tbh
Ryan: Perfect normal guy
Ryan with sunglasses: King of the canadian mafia
Dino Bravo sleeps with the fishes
Canadian mafia :)))))))))))
He's so badass he hasn't said sorry since that one time in 2015
Canadian Mafia - which one ???
@@glenholmgren1218 The maple syrup cartel?
That shot of the bike with the cards falling is just absolutely incredible
Somewhere, some overpriced production team is screaming about this guy being able to do their job for nuthin
True camerawork is just creativity and technicality. Go out there an film!
I mean if any motorcycle company had their wits they would pay him to do the commercial
RYAN F9 MADE BETTER CONTENT IN A CAVE

WITH A BOX OF SCRAPS
@@aldionsylkaj9654 that's one of the most accurate and inspiring descriptions of filming I've ever seen.
I read a comment from an experienced documentary maker with “40+ years experience” for some legit channels and mags. He wrote the best compliment you could hope for. Been watching ever since. Just sublime work.
You guys are what Top Gear used to be for cars, but for Motorcycles. Just Amazing.
Yeah just dont punch someone over a cold sandwhich. Lol.
Top gear is fucked up, always has been
Just call that show “shoulder pads”
...and I might add...Fortnine is a great place to buy Harley parts if you are a Canadian....lower cost that out of the US
Ah. Not enough riding twisties for me. It would be hilarious to punch every bike around a course or 2.
Your sound, the way of filming, the production quality, the review all alone makes it look there was a million dollar budget for this video. Absolutely badass.
Yeah, thats what I was thinking. the cinematography alone made the production value seem way high.
Yep, couldn't agree more
More effort in the review than Yamaha put into the bike.
What is the chance you will render the videos as actual 21:9 instead of rendering it at 16:9 by adding black bars at the top and bottom with 21:9 video? The thing I hate the most is watching a 21:9 video with black bars added to make it 16:9... Full-screen just means bars on the top, bottom, and sides because of this which kills my desire to watch the video
Biggest expense on this video was the "Domino's Pizza Budget." Those scenes with the falling cards made for a *really* long night haha. ~RF9
What the hell did I just watch? Whoever is doing these productions is either a billionaire with an unlimited budget or a genius. Everything is flawless. Jesus.
Man, is no one going to mention the homage to Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels here?! I love how FortNine always tries to sneak pop culture references in their videos, and I love the feeling when viewers (yours truly) can spot those references. Ryan even mentioned RockNRolla, also by Guy Ritchie. That's just top notch writing.
Should we name you the "God of Bike Reviews" already? *take a bow*
Top Gear on two wheels :P
How much money are you given to make these videos? Jesus Christ, it looks less like a bike review and more like an Oceans Sequel.
we do what we can on a tight budget ;) ~TeamF9
Well you wouldn't be able to tell, great job guys!
This could have been the next oceans film lol
Nailed it. Outstanding. These vids are getting better over time and the channel is fast becoming my default "go to" channel.
i think the inspiration was more likely from lock stock and two smoking barrels and snatch.
Lock, stock and two smoking carburators!
Spot on man
10 mins 39 secs of the best motorcycle review ever. Have watched it three times now, still shaking my head. Brilliant.
Gotta see the T7 review. Essentially pt2 to this one.
Wow, awesome production quality and content. Amazing.
don´t get jealous Matt, we still love you. You were my harley guy until they killed teh Dyna and gave us an over prized thing nobody asked for - yeah, I´m that guy... -. You are still the best Harley content on the internet.
Still my Harley guy, just transitioned into the Harley world from my Honda, proud new owner of a XL1200 Custom
My thoughts exactly. Love it!
You might also check PowerDrift reviews. They have been doing it for quite some time now. Similar production values I mean..
I agree. Makes other bike reviews look like bike reviews. This is art, good art. Highly watchable.
You guys are making the best content on RUclips
I don't leave comments often so let's just let this cover all your vids: This channel's videos are damn good. I've been binging through them, and the style of editing is great for delivering information, without being cringey and repetitive like everything on TV that's trying to do the same thing. Great job to everyone involved and please keep up the good work. Love this shit. 💯💯💯
That rear wheel flipping the card in the dirt, that magic Yamaha to ADV transform that I didn't even notice happening the first time around, and everything everyone else mentioned - the cards falling, etc. Just amazing production value.
God I love these videos so much! Just the writing, the production value, and the time put into them. Plus all done on a tight budget. My opinion, best motorcycle content on the internet.
P.S. Love how you guys respond to basically everyone in the comments
Thanks! Talking bikes is one of our favourite things to do, so responding to comments is a pleasure. ~RF9
FortNine any thoughts on the ducati scrambler sixty2, perhaps a review? thanks
I bought one of the first SCR950's to ship to the US, I work at a dealer and have been working the same side of the argument from the beginning. A scrambler is a horribly inappropriate converted cheap simple street bike that looks and sounds cool as hell, and makes you feel like a hooligan. You are exactly right, modern "scramblers" just turned into dualsports and adv bikes. Revzilla dropped the ball on their review calling the SCR an underperforming parts bin special while riding around in the sand treating it like a wr250r. The bike has character and style, and mine also has completely rubbed down peg feelers and a skidplate so dinged up by rocks metal polish no longer helps. It's not particularly fast, very heavy, has painful ergonomics (muh shins) , no special electronics, a roar to set off car alarms as you stroll buy (thanks vance and hines) and it's hilariously bad at dirt riding. I love it. And it was so cheap by the time I get half way to wearing out it's indestructible cruiser vtwin I'll have money to buy another. Cheers.
An alcoholic might have character and style too, but at the end of the day? Just another drunk. Personally? I don't get it ...A.lot of things in motorcycling I don't get though so maybe it's me. I don't get harley's either or cruisers for that matter....I don't get 700 llb adventure bikes with knobbies. ....I have to admit being attracted to one impractical genre or at least the concept .. idea of a "tracker" style bike ...which I realize I would probably not like if actually ever bought one....they just look cool as hell and I fantasize sliding one on fire roads ....if I HAD to buy a "scrambler"? I'd buy a "tracker" and pretend it's a scrambler ...one thing though. I dont care what anyone thinks I would have a front tender on it!
Thanks for talking about the bike instead of the fucking video production. The info you shared was very useful.
@@liv4music lol yeah, the comment section seems a desert when it comes to talking about the bike itself. It's like people pouring praises on a porsche... for it's sound system or something.
@@sriramranganathan1569 yup...good video though, right?😉
I also got one of the first SCR’s (California Model too).
20,000 miles and bulletproof reliability.
I road it across the county and back.
It’s my preferred commenting machine.
I ride it basically wide ope 80% of the time.
It’s definitely not fast but will pull the wheel up with a little bit of clutch finesse. Lol
It rips, makes you feel like your tearing up the road. My peg fellers are long gone...
For the price you can’t beat it...
Its just such a classic, standard motorcycle.
If you wanted a brand new bike but only wanted to pay $4000. This is exactly why you would expect.
Seriously you can go by a “New” 2017 with zero miles for like $4000 dollars in mid-west America.
How could you beat that?!
I love my SCR950... so reliable and an absolute hulk in terms of bang for your buck. Only thing I'd recommend is better tires for longer mileage riding. I did the CA coast ride twice w/ 2nd trip using Michelin Anakee 3 and was absolutely a blast being able to hang with the Triumphs. Also always love the compliments at gas stations... very unique looking bike!
I love mine too bro. It was hard at first because I rose CBRs. I’ve been taking it camping here in SC. I dig it more and more as I break more into it. Hope to hit the west coast soon.
2019 and this is literally one of the smoothest, most technically amazing bike reviews I've ever seen. Stunning O.o
2022 and your comment still holds.
Dig the production quality. Cheers!
Everyone is praising the production quality, but it's the exquisite poetry that gets me.
Watching this 6 years after it was posted and still some of the best content I’ve ever seen
The production quality and this team is just unreal... I always watch their videos on repeat... never got bored...
These reviews need to be nominated for some award. Oscar, Tony, Grammy... Whatever! The world needs to recognize the quality and effort that went into these type of reviews
Blown away every time in terms of production, story telling, and all around entertainment. You're making reviews fun, and interesting with a twist that makes you think about it from another perspective without saying "This is what this bike/part does". Keep it coming!
Best motorcycle video yet. You really stepped up with incredibly high production value. I love the cards falling slowly then in reverse. The dirt track scene where the tire pushed that lone card was extremely well done. The info on the bike was solid. Wth with the damn 5 speed? You really nailed it.
damn the production quality on your reviews is through the roof , easily the best motorcycle reviews out there . Love all the work you guys do.
Man your videos are second to none, entertaining, informative, well shot and justified opinions. Hats off to you good folks 👏🏻
Holy cow that is the best introduction I've ever seen. So clever and well written! 👏
These reviews simultaneously inspire me to be creative with motorcycle based content and also absolutely discourage me because I know I'll never be as good. Keep it up RF9 you're killing the game!
The well-researched, informative, valuable reviews aside, it's been very enjoyable watching the writing, production quality, and presentation on your content mature. I especially like the move toward centralized concepts, like the card motif in this video. You have a talented team; keep up the good work.
I probably watched this video about 5 times this week (it’s tuesday)
Just keep finding myself back here, the video quality is just absolutely amazing!
Can’t stop binge watching your channel. The production quality is way up there and you’re texts are so detailed and honest.
Your candid reviews and quality are entirely refreshing. Thank you.
MAN!! This is the best production i've ever seen in a motorcycle video!!
This was by far, the best Review i´ve seen so far
Wish more Reviews come in this style!
keep it up
I've watched three reviews by FortNine so far and these are absolutely the best reviews on YT. Production quality and writing are top notch. Subscribed.
These videos are incredibly well made!!!! The beginning nearly gave me chills, the shots, effects, the props, all perfect!!!
This kind of an intro is so well made. I like your high-quality videos.
Another freak'n beautiful review that skirts that line between high-art film-making and consumer reports...your aces.
Your videos have such incredible production value, writing, and stories, for being "just" motorcycle reviews... absolutely brilliant!
Watching this a few years later (you know 4 or so) and still brings a quirky smile to my face. This vid is still Aces!
This is by far the most beautiful and entertaining review i have ever seen! You guys are amazing!
Never seen such a great review with story behind it. Great job, enjoyed every second of it.
Going back and rewatching some of the older reviews it's so fun to think about what movies you guys are riffing on. Recently rewatched "Rounders" for the first time in years, and here we are.
The writing, man! The writing is amazing! Keep up the good work. This is the third or fourth time I've watched this and I finally understand what you're saying. The other times I watched I was too impressed by the cinematography and editing to get the gist of the story.
This has got to be my favorite video on this channel. It's not the topic most relevant to me: even now that I know what "scrambling" is, it's not for me. Rather, it's the conceit of the video, and the polish, and the way the info is dressed that instantly draws me to this particular storytelling gem of an informational motorcycle video. What a fantastic watch!
Wow, Extremely great production quality.
Proud to be Canadian.
Man, your videos are a gem in youtube this days. Love it. Intelligent, well produced, great content and so elegant...! congrats!
I know its an older video and everyone else has said it already but my god the production quality you guys put out is amazing. Top tier. Love the channel.
Another excellent Fortnine production!
The FZ/MT 7 would be an awesome platform for a high-pipe scrambler.
Does the T7 count? ~RF9
Not yet!! Though I'm looking forward to seeing the T7, I was thinking more along the lines of a bike that looks like a traditional scrambler as opposed to a truly capable ADV/dual-sport =D
Can't wait for it.
orangelion03 have seen or heard of the retrofied version of the MT-07? If not, Check out the yamaha XSR-700.
So excited for the T7. Hopefully it's not a pig and they don't add too much weight. Under 450 please...
Ryan, this video is so good, it suppose to run in cinemas, not on youtube.
the quality of this video is just mind blowing - everything from text to the shooting is epic
the production value of these videos are ridiculous good. Great work as always, F9 and team
This production quality is amazing.
I want to thank this review for finding my motorcycle for the rest of my life... Thanks Ryan.... You pointed out history, and remembering that bike are to be modified by individuals who appreciate their own personal machine, thanks again.
The scene with the bike and the cards hits my soul, incredible cinematography !
Holy the quality of these videos and the amount of effort put on this just amazing
I don't know why, but I've literally watched this video at least twice a week for like a month now, I just love it. It inspires me, makes me wanna ride like crazy and take the shakiest of bikes into the unfairest of roads
Now I don’t watch it twice a week but I still love this. This is how motorcycle companies should make their ads.
i love how he also reviewed all the other scramblers in 10 seconds at the end
This must be my favorite review of your channel by far. Filled to the brim with Guy Richie inspired goodness.
This is by far the best review channel on RUclips. Bravo!
I keep watching this review over and over... Brilliant art! ....Also got the 950... Keep up the good work!
The production, and in fact the writing, in this video is stellar. Easily as good as anything BBC Top Gear produced when they were at the top of their game. Bravo!
5 years later this is probably still one of your best movies. amazing work
Not only have I fallen in love with the SCR950, but I also love this video. The style and production values are excellent and is totally a cut above what you'd expect for a motorcycle review.
I've watched this video multiple times just because I find it entertaining.
I find better storytelling on tour reviews than on several "filmmaking" channels, thanks for so much passion and care on your reviews
I watched this so long ago that I thought it was a new vid.! Wow, this is my favorite video that you have done ☺️
Insane! That's the first thing that came to my mind while watching this one.
Whoever writes the script, shoots the videos and edits them... Brilliant job there! And of course, Ryan.
FortNine is my favorite channel at this point of time!
One of the best video reviews I have seen! Great production!
Where's the "Directed by Guy Ritchie" credit?
How do they make such a good and interesting video about something that could be so simple and boring. Love it
Your post production quality is literally top of the game. This was like a movie.
Still the best motorcycle review ever. I always come back to watch it.
This is a beautiful mix of Steven Soderebergh and Guy Ritchie. And that’s not even to mention the bike review.
Loved the way you put this together
This production is wonderfully detailed, well written and perfectly edited. Surprised the viewer count hasn’t passed the million mark by now.
production value of this video is pretty good. I'm looking into riding and I've been tuning more into your channel. noice stuff my dudes keep it up
A very nice way of explaining a niche subject to public. Great review as always
Awesome yet again. You take bike vids to a whole new level. Very inspirational.
FortNine has the most entertaining bike review I've ever watched in youtube...keep up the stunning work!
Your delivery of information is so creative and awesome. All of your content is so appreciated and entertaining.
Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels. I'm digging these film homages.
You're the very best regarding bikes !!!
Thanks Ryan.
Watched it a couple of times since 2017...
This is such a wise video.
What a storyteller.
Amazing video! The way you merge a review and a movie is something special! Keep up the good work!
Amazing job. I'm getting the scr950.
Three years later, they released the true scrambler: the Ténéré 700
Best bike reviews on RUclips. Filming/editing astounding!
I love the lock stock reference. Production quality of this channel is so high.
the cinematography is top notch :D
cheers from singapore
As per usual, cinematic asf! I could give a flying rats rear end on any bike you review, as Ive already got my dream bike but the quality in which you make said reviews makes me go hell yea I want that! Keep it up Ryan and F9!
I swear, you guys are just cinematography geniuses that happen to point the cameras at motorcycles.
Amazing quality, as always.
Hands down, the best motorcycle videos on RUclips. Informative and oh so entertaining.
I had a Yamaha Bolt for a while before the SCR was out. There was no way i thought that bike would be make into a scrambler. Ok entry level cruiser but no scrambler. Great review as always.
This is Top Gear/Grand Tour quality... amazing
Probably the best review I've seen for anything
This video is a masterpiece. I find myself coming back to it again and again. Hell, i think I'm off to by an scr, just because I want to feel a part of it!
Never stop, guys, this is cinematic excellence
Damn man! It cannot get any better than this!
