How to download voxel for UE5: • Installing The Voxel P... In this video I quickly go over how you can go about testing the destruction in any voxel world you create.
Can you make it so that the world you are destroying 'regenerates' over time so that the world is destructible, but not fully removed. Like dig a tunnel but after 2min the world starts to heal and close the tunnel unless you put something in the way like mine shaft walls and tracks etc. ?
yeah ofc just check if the removed terrain has given structures within it's range after a certain time of destruction just a theoretical way, im not a game dev. lol
@@blake3dcakei didnt reach this level right now - so if make another tutorials like importing a building mesh to be a voxel mesh that we can make it destructible - would be very helpfull since there is no tuts about it
Interesting concept, I haven't had the chance to mess around with voxel a whole lot since this video but that is definitely something I will look into see how you might accomplish that. Ill keep you updated. For this video though it is all based off the voxel generated destructible landscape
Really appreciate this tutorial! Seeing as how the Voxel documentation doesnt even seem to easily contain this info. ...pro tip... maybe don't make rape jokes in your tutorials... that will for sure come back to bite you in the ass...
Hahahaha I loved this video man 😂😂 you made me laugh quite a few times, but also we’ll pet together and quick and ways to follow!
Thank you!!!❤
My character is not walking when i use the cubicDestructionGameMode

i want to make a construction game, how can i use this with the edited vehicle template turned backhoe to dig up the ground?
How do I select this pawn if I'm already using another one from a pack??
Very good project, like, and can you give me please complete this project ?
what do you use to record?
StreamlabsOBS
Does this work if you import a landscape via USGS
can I keep the TPS template and destroy the environment by jumping?
thanks dude
No problem! Voxel bindings are a bit weird outside of the first person example map, figured others may have ran into similar issues

Awesome thxs man
How did you get it to go into 3rd person?

Could this technically work for UE4 as well, as long as you follow the steps?
This is basically useless, because you will never use the default gamemode or default character from the plugin
is there a way to stay in 3rd person while u do it?
