I was watching this and genuinely had to take a double take when I realized this wasn’t some super popular RUclipsr. I love the understandable explanations while not being overly complex. Keep up the good work.
I love seeing what people choose to implement in these. Some people do greedy meshing, others multiplayer, others LODs, others make a more complete MC clone… I could (and will!) watch these forever.
I wish I knew how to code just so I can attempt thing like this! Awsome job man, you should definitely expand on this idea and keep adding things one piece at a time!
I couldn't even imagine a much needed Unreal Engine 5 Minecraft clone that loads faster on mobile and if it had the same texture quality as RealSource - WOW, just WOW! Now, imagine a Dungeon Rouge-like & Souls-like Action RPG where you have to dig yourself a Dungeon Entrance or a way to a Treasure Room. A game world where you literally build your own Castle to wage war in an open world MMORPG. New subscriber here, I've always wanted to develop a Minecraft open world random map generated game in Unreal Engine 5 but always doubted on how to go about it but thanks to your idea I was inspired.
as a sophomore cs major i’m continuously floored by how talented and dedicated other cs people can be. game design isn’t my cup of tea, but major respect to you for all the effort you put in. truly 1337 :)
This is a great video! It's amazing to see what can be done in a week. Of course, if it were to be made into a game there are some QoL changes to be made, but as a proof of concept this is great. Glad to see this in my recommended, I'll be sticking around. Gonna be the next Game Makers Toolkit 😉
this is fucking insane bro. can't believe this doesn't even have 1000 views yet at the time of watching. you deserve all of the clout for this, keep up the good vids man, you just gained a new sub ! :D
Oh wtf ? Yeah !!! o: Who are youuuuuuu I thought you were a bigggg tech person heavy youtuber (not saying you aren't, you remade minecraft :)) More like, not well known o: It's so cool ! It's so soft and simple, accessible ! I really appreciate how you speak like the riddle people of youtube, explaining calmly and softly... nice :D
Incredible work man, all the effort you put into this really shows. If you keep up this level of quality I’d be shocked if it doesn’t guarantee success for your channel. Be careful not to get burnt out, but I am excited to see what you create in the future
How did you make the realistic shadows? ProceduralMeshComponent does not support Lumen, and baking the lights would not be a viable option because the blocks can change.
For beginners in unreal, this is a neat concept for a "first project". Maybe make another video with a lower-level explanation for those trying to code along?
This is so underrated, you deserve definitely more subs man! Also, keep it up with this Minecraft copy, you could make a video where you like update it and add things Minecraft hasn’t but are should have … You gained a sub!
Graphic cards will become a second computer connected to the main computer at some point 😂. Actually it would be cool to have multiple motherboards connected, kinda like they do for flexible smarthphones, that way every time you upgrade you get rid of the oldest one and subordinate the newer one to the new one, so any processes that start annoying the main processor get sent to the main processor. Or for maximum performance two motherboards with all the same.
1:38 🤓👆 Erm actually. The “Perlin noise” that you are showing here is not actually Perlin noise. This is actually a 2d representation of 3d fractal Simplex noise. 🤓👆 Get your facts checked buddy.
Watching this so I can also make my own ripoff on roblox. Also, thanks for the multithreading reminder. By just using coroutine.wrap chunk generation times went from 0.005 to 0.00000858306884765625
make someting like 7 days to die next, that game has like smoothed voxels that gradually degrade if u hit them, it's even more poorly optimized then minecraft. Should be a walk in the park for u
I literally spent 1k+ hours in Minecraft playing TechMods. I hope some day someone will recreate MC + TechMods in an Engine, that's capable of running all technical stuff without the issues javascript MC always has, when you build a lot of machines, pipes,.... That would be a dream.
I was watching this and genuinely had to take a double take when I realized this wasn’t some super popular RUclipsr. I love the understandable explanations while not being overly complex. Keep up the good work.
That's some seriously kind words, thank you for that! Glad you enjoyed!
The mood you're setting with the synthwave and your voice and your overall theme/ambience in the looks is just so damn good
Appreciate the kind words 😄
This is an underrated video and you deserve wayyy more views, I know you’ll become successful in the near future.
You're a legend, thank you!

The algorithm is about to perform it's magic. This is an amazing video!
How has this not blown up?? Amazing work dude!
I wish I knew how to code just so I can attempt thing like this! Awsome job man, you should definitely expand on this idea and keep adding things one piece at a time!
girl i dont know what you did but you've got the algorithm excited. so many people are getting recommended this
This is an insanely well produced video. I like the end result of the game produced also!

So glad the algorithm put this in my feed. Great vid, great editing and production. Magnificent! Subbed.
I was watching this and I genuinely thought you were some 500k youtuber this really shows how anyone can be successful. Keep up the good work mate.
Appreciate you, legend!
Honestly I'd love to see what this would look like with a few months of development and all of the tools unreal 5 has to offer. Great job man!
Thank you!
This video is outstanding. Was recommended on my home page as of 1.5k views, so boosting for the algorithm
Thank you!

Thank you! 😁
Very underrated RUclipsr, good video, like your content
Appreciate you! 😁
I don’t get how your video other got 1 million views but you are still only at 7 thousand subscribers
@@Fhoams LOL it's been awhile since I've posted tbh, but I've got a lot of free time now so I'm looking to post more!
Looking forward to it
It's an advanced level video, but it the idea that a person can make real Minecraft in UE inspirates a lot. Thanks
This is actually so good, you're so underrated, here before this blows up🙏🙏🙏
Honestly I would love to see how this game turns out with another like 6-8 months of development

This video is unbelievably good, you explain everything so well. Very underrated
please sell this as a template in the unreal marketplace dude!
Hi! Can you explain how you use FRunnable or publish your source code?
Nice work mate ! 🎉
Great vid 👍
keep the video grind going!
This is gonna blow up really fast!
pure amazing work, I really enjoyed watching this video
Awesome video, knew it was going to be epic the moment I clicked on it.
commenting so the algorithm picks you up
Real one! ✊

How did you connect Lumen and Shadows?
This is gonna go viral bro

Nice.
Good animations btw.
Thank you!
Wow, impressive! Great job 👍
6:29 try texture arrays
Very inspirational video ❤
what a coincidence I saw this video because I was planning on remaking minecraft too but in vulkan instead.
I'd love to see something like this done in Vulkan!
FInna riot if this doesn't blow up
Jesus dude you deserve waaaay more subs than you have. Keep creating amazing content!
Great video!
Sorry if you mentioned that and I missed it but how do you actually create the mesh? Is it in blueprints or using c++?
Nice work. In general, are Voxels rarely used on the Unrel engine?
1:08 it’s now 16x16x384, good video though
Whoops, that's a mistake on my part, it's 384 in the version I made though, thank you!
Is the source code available?
Thats was soo interesting thank you
Lemme know when you get the textures up to date
Huh, its literally like the OG classic version, down to the water just extending instead of flowing
I'm curious about how you used a custom thread to load the chunks as trying to manipulated Uobject outside of game thread just crash the engine
This is so underrated, you deserve definitely more subs man! Also, keep it up with this Minecraft copy, you could make a video where you like update it and add things Minecraft hasn’t but are should have … You gained a sub!

Looks awesome, man! Why did you make it so dark though?
how do you learn this procedural generation, i am searching evewhere how to do and i cant find
Great Video, Subbed
hola me podrias ayudar, no puedo ejetucar tu juego y noce porque solo sale error
Does it implement Ambien Oclussion calculations?
I would really like to learn from your code, is there any way I can get access to it?
So underated😔
Hmm 64 views, pretty sure this is going to blow up
0:55 what track is this?
this minecraft can join multiplayer ?
Do you have the project files for download?
I would love if Minecraft upgraded their engine to unreal engine for next gen

I would definitely prefer a more in-depth step by step how too.
wrong, they've increased the maximum height, -64 to 320, so it's not 256 anymore.
You're right! My version has the correct height of 384!
good job brother
HELLO GUYS, WELCOME TO MY RUclips CHANNEL, today I'm GOING TO BE SHOWING YOU HOW "I" Made Minecraft in 1 week using UNREAL ENGINE 5!!

That greedy meshing, isn't it something Nanite already takes care of?

player height. it should be 1.8 blocks not 0.8
nah , keep that shit hidden cuh
