  • This has got to be the most versatile, unique and interesting fishing rod to have EVER been created. Lure, fly and bait with multiple different cast weights make this a truly one of a kind travel rod! Never before have so many options been available with just one set up. The X5 adventure combination is great for trout fishing, perch fishing, fly fishing, bait fishing, pike fishing, coarse fishing and even some sea fishing. As long as the cast weight is reasonably small, this rod can do it. This fishing rod also has a larger counterpart, the X5 max, which is essentially the same thing but bigger and more powerful designed for more heavy duty applications. If you know of a rod that you feel beats this in terms of versatility, let me know about it in the comments it would be great to see what else is out there!
    If you want to buy this rod you can get 10% off using discount code AFUK10 if you go direct to the rigged and ready website here: riggedandready.net/ it even comes with a 2 year no questions asked guarantee! The rod is also available without the reels, in a smaller case.
    I know the format was a little different here, and there was some quite random clips inserted at the end. Wanted to use some older footage of the rod that many of you wont have seen! It looks like i've lost some of the other footage of me using this rod, particularly for a bit more fly fishing so i'm sorry about that!
    If you enjoyed this video please don't forget to like and subscribe, it really helps the channel!
    Thanks for watching and hopefully i'll see you for the next video!

    Having followed you since the sea trout sessions on the Wyre I’m really happy for you that your channel has nearly ten thousand other fishing nut cases watching you😂 With all respect I’ve been able to follow your progress from being very much a learner to an angler who has the confidence to fish for early big spring salmon on a river where most folk don’t start till June? So many angling channels are ruined by bad music ect and so I had a feeling you’d do ok.
    I think you being involved with the business of using the same rods n tackle that you are advertising is really cool as the gear has never let you down. Just incredible what you can get now for such money and if you take away the brand name snobbery I’ll bet these rods are as good as anything

    This is what I needed during my 2 week holiday trip with a small car... Was expecting some predator boat fishing in Germany so brought a 2 pcs spinning rod that's 1.55m. But expensive tickets and regulations at the spot made me reconsider (you have to have a knife and fish killer baton thing on you for example) and so I ended up using the rod in my 2nd week from the bank at a pretty lake in Slovenia, where I blanked, since I could not throw any decent distance haha and I could not rent a boat there. So yeah, that's not gonna happen again, cause I ordered this one. 😁 Also fly fishing would be a first! Shipping to NL is £20 if anyone is interested in ordering. I suspect its because they would sell less rods... The design i had in mind has a few more bells and whistles like a small storage area in the handle for some light tackle, think John Rambo's survival knife. You know the one, with the compass in the butt, and perhaps some integrated led lights into the eyelets for setting up in the dark. Maybe im getting a little carried away now but we only live once right😂

    What sort of weight of fish will this handle? Can you get a baitcaster handle with trigger for this rod? I fancy a rod that will handle both heavy and smaller species of fish.

    • @davefave4351
      @davefave4351 Год назад +2

      Rigged and Ready do make a 'Predator Rod' that has a unique mini trigger that can be used with fixed spool OR baitcasting reels, has two lengths (1.80m and 2.20m) and will handle lure weights 0-30g and 20-80g.
      £70ish?
      I have many lure rods for both fixed spool and baitcaster reels but I'm very, very tempted by this rod.
