    Are these issues fixed:
    1) QC issues with Liquid Metal?
    2) Driver problems causing unexplained shutdowns?
    3) Slow RAM issues?

      G15 AE and the normal g15 are nearly the same except the gpu and screen.
      So in my normal g15 I have not faced issues these issues.
      But with AE i think slow ram will be a problem. Although both have the same ram but 6800M is demanding on Ram, so it will be solved only if you upgrade to 24gb or 32gb.

    Great comparison! I have been using this machine for about 2 weeks and it is AMAZING. FYI in the U.S. it comes with slower timing memory so if you upgrade the RAM it may be even faster!

    which one is better (g15 or advantage edtn)for 3D work, like unreal engine, blender, any idea how is the rendering performance of 6800m compared to 3070?

    • @AvishGarg12
      @AvishGarg12  3 года назад +2

      Go with Advantage edition, it will be faster in every aspect. Since the cpu and gpu are both from Amd and this laptop has smart shift technology to channel power where its needed the most, something which is missing in normal g15, it should perform faster in 3d works and rendering.

    Will the advantage edition be good for video editing? Compared to zephyrus g15 with ryzen 9 and 3060?

    • @AvishGarg12
      @AvishGarg12  3 года назад +1

      It should perform better or atleast the same as 3070. In photoshop test 6800M performed better than 3070.
      I'll do a seperate video showing the difference in content creation.

    thanks a lot. Just ordered the G15 AE via flipkart.
    i dont care about RTX , DLSS will be missed tho.
    for that 8k , this seems a solid deal.

    Will 3070 outperform in ray tracing?

    • @AvishGarg12
      @AvishGarg12  3 года назад +1

      Yes 3070 will outperform in ray tracing. Rtx and ray tracing are mainly nvidia's territory and Amd still has to do some work to catch nvidia.

    I don't get it cause the site where I saw this two laptops has exactly the same specs but the advantage edition is more expensive

    Bro , I am confused between this laptop and legion 5 pro rtx 3060 variant ?? I saw venoms tech video where he said the price of this laptop is 1.40L which is similar to legion 5 pro , which one you will recommend ??

    • @AvishGarg12
      @AvishGarg12  3 года назад +1

      Legion 5 pro is currently listed at 147000 on online stores.
      So I suggest go with advantage edition, its a more capable laptop.
      With Ryzen 9 compared to Ryzen 7 in legion. And Rx6800M is a lot powerful than 3060.
      So in just 8k extra you can get all this extra performance.....

      @@AvishGarg12 actually bro the budget is very much restricted to 1.40L so I can hardly go beyond that

    Brother connect it to an external monitor it outperform 3070m by a good margin and on par with 150w 3080m

    • @AvishGarg12
      @AvishGarg12  3 года назад

      Yes 6800M can easily outperform 3070 and in some cases it competes with 3080.
      Thanks for the info.

    That two dislikes are from Nvidia fanboys lol
    really great video man wasn't expecting such a good video
    It is the refreshing to see competition in laptop GPU space next year Intel is also going to enter in this Nvidia dominated market when the competition we will see competitive pricing like what happened with mobile mi or iqoo nowadays no one buys a Samsung phone if you are enthusiast

    • @AvishGarg12
      @AvishGarg12  3 года назад

      Thanks Man. Really glad that you liked it.
      Yes Intel remains to be tested on the battlefield of GPU's, my gut feeling says intel can rock the gpu market.
      Since it already learned that its not the top dog, it will work harder to retain that position. Also it has a lot to learn from Nvidia and Amd.

    Hey man... Great comparison... I got one doubt... Which rame it got? I saw in many videos that in the international varients they use slower ram... Is it the same here?

    • @AvishGarg12
      @AvishGarg12  3 года назад

      Thanks bro, Its got 16gb ddr4 ram with a base speed 3200mhz.

    • @AvishGarg12
      @AvishGarg12  3 года назад

      I checked on Amazon. It says it has 16gb*2 DDR4 3200MHZ.
      Indian gaming must be referring to the fact that you need more ram to get the best performance out of 6800M.

    I do not even know if the 6800m even supports 8K.

    • @AvishGarg12
      @AvishGarg12  3 года назад

      It cannot support 8k. But the point is why go for 8k, go for 4k with much better performance. Also most games can only support 4k.
