I had an unbelievable opportunity to purchase the new G16 with an AMD Ryzen AI HX 370, 4070, and 32GB of RAM only for $1,232. The retailer in Bulgaria mistakenly changed the price, and all units sold out in a day. I still can't believe it happened, but I saved more than 50% on this laptop. As a student I will say that you don't need a big screen on the go. Getting any 14 inch option and docking it when home is probably best. Touchscreens are also a must in collage, if you have the money for it the ideal setup is some sort of 2 in 1 paired with an egpu or a mini PC for home use. You may even get good milage out of the igpu if you turn down the settings. Unless you really like the idea of going to other people's dorms and common areas to game or the major requires GPU performance on the go don't waste money on the g16
