This knife is made of a rusty file. The entire blade has been polished. The handle is made of a mixture of two different colors of epoxy resin, which is directly poured on the handle part and integrated with the blade.
This is the first time I have tried to make a handle like this. The final result did not disappoint me, at least I think it looks good.

ماهي الماده السائلة المستعملة للمسك الخنجر ؟؟؟
Do you change the angle on your jig when grinding the tanto tip, or do you just leave it where it's at?
The angle must be adjusted because the bevel and knife tip plane are not parallel, the angle of the jig must be adjusted to reach the predetermined angle.
@@creatorqi I think I get it. So you just make the typical angle tweaks to get from blade edge to spine, like done on the main bevel.
@@nine11kid Right.
Do you preheat your oil? Just wondering
No, I didn't.
Excellent knife - what grits were used? Thanks
Up to P5000 sandpaper for polishing.
@@creatorqi And for the grinding?
@@brucejacobson3350 Sorry, I don't understand the meaning of your question...
@@creatorqi What were the various grits used during the manufacturing stages? Thanks. I have the old rusty file, so I'm part way there.
@@brucejacobson3350 Use p40 or p80 sandpaper to remove rust and the teeth on the surface of the file and polish the shape of the knife. After that, use sandpaper to polish step by step. The grits size from low to high, such as P100, P240, P600, P800, P1000, P1500, P2000...until you achieve the effect you want.
Remember to anneal the file before sharpening it to make it easier to process.
I don’t know if this is the answer you want, I hope it can help you.
How thick was the finished knife?
Blade thickness is about 5 mm.
Я не эксперт, но похоже это холодное оружие..........
Нож - это оружие ближнего боя, верно.
