Thank you all for watching. Write in the comments what knives you want that we would make ...
can you make keris?
black and white powder what's the name. please tell me
I beg you to answer my question: What is black and white powder? and do you use it to hold the steel together?
the powder is graphite and glass. Graphite for carbonization of the ingot. Glass flux.
@@fz-makingknives3663 okay, thank you for the knowledge, bro, nice to meet me from Indonesia
That Tanto turned out to be far more than I ever expected. The true bonus is in the exquisite pattern! Truly remarkable piece and workmanship. WOW
Thanks!
Amazing and beautiful!! Thank you so much for taking the time to share your skills. I'm inspired!
what a calming stress reliever, watching you create these beautiful blades...
Your work is totally amazing. I've always wanted to learn how to make wootz steel but you make it look so easy. Your an exceptional artist. Someone that can take a difficult job and make it look easy. SUPERB! THANK YOU.
Thanks 👍
I would love to see a detailed video on making the Wootz itself and how the furnace is setup. Thats amazing!
That is one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen made. The pattern of the steel makes it almost look like stone, incredible.
Thanks 👍
Beautiful…just heeded a hamon (with water quench) to complete the picture. Exquisite!
Nothing is more satisfying than a beautifully sharpened tanto like that one
Damascus pattern beautiful,
Bolster fitment perfect,
Scabbard and handle in hornbeam wood gave it a stealth well finished smooth look,
Overall a beautiful piece to be proud of!! Really enjoyed this video and even saw a new technique with the scabbard!
We are glad that you liked it.
It never ceases too amaze me the creativity you people. I wish I could build something like that. Truly awesome ❤️😃
Thanks 👍
Thank you for your beautiful art.
Thanks!👍
This is not just informative or entertaining. It's A M A Z I N G !!! The magic of the pattern revealing itself is just phenomenal.
Thanks 👍

Awesome job, pattern on the knife is realy Nice 👍😊
👍🍻
@@fz-makingknives3663 amazing job! how did u get that pattern/patina..?!
@@konstantinkleber8792 I have used yellow mustard. You can also use vinegar 👍
@@konstantinkleber8792 It's with the melting in the crucible. He melts the steel down with those powders (glass shards and graphite) in the furnace.
After it's been melted, the different impurities divide over the material and as they crystallise as they are quenched, those patterns show up.
It's basically how the original Damascus blades got their pattern. It wasn't pattern welding, this is the real deal.
@@nextlifeonearth this is not authentic wootz damascus, far from it. Its the very precise chemical composition and the way its heat treated is how you get real wootz damascus. watch al pendray and dr verhoven.
I would love to buy this knife👌🏻 it's pattern is amazing, all and all just beautiful blade
Thanks 👍
Thank You! Gorgeous workmanship, incredible talent, very enjoyable video experience!
Absolutely beautiful work!
This is the second video of yours that I've watched and I am hooked!
I just find your channel and i'm enjoying it so much...
And I'm looking forward for a Tamahagane steel making sir 👍🏼🙏🏻👍🏻
👍
Wow, that pattern of the steel is mind blowing. I saw some darker colored bearing balls mixed in there, where they the same just discolored or coated balls? Your wootz steel is on another level of artwork.
Thanks 👍
I wish I could buy this. What an amazing knife. Great work!
Wowie! What a blade it will cut!!!
The knife pattern is amazing. Great job :)
Thank you ☺️
Beautiful work! I especially like the steel blade well in the sheath. Suggestion: wakizashi from automobile leaf spring.
👍
Very good brother thank you
Bellissimo lavoro,grande Vitaly!👏👏
Thanks!😉
the pattern in the steel looks very similar to crucible wootz damascus with all the dendrites that are popping out at you. it looks very amazing you were able to pull that off and not have it look man made like pattern welded damascus tends to be. good job!!
Thank you
Another masterpiece. Still waiting on that video that shows your sharpening process. Curious what you use to make the final edge. Your sharpness tests in all your vids are absolutely spectacular.
we will show sharpening in the following videos

Damn that's sharp! I love the pattern on the blade. Makes it quite dark and matches the sheath. I want one. 😁
