On my patreon page, I began to explain the processes and secrets of my work. Topics already covered:
1. Why do I add pepper to container Damascus steel.
2. What do I sprinkle? Flux and its composition.
3. How do I remove the container from the workpiece (container Damascus steel).
4. Why am I drilling a hole in a container.
5. Why do I sweep away the dross from the anvil with my hand.
6. Why do I first forge some blanks on a tree.
7. In what and why do I soak the blank before forging.
8. In which granules do I place the workpiece after forging.
9. What kind of white powder do I pour into the container.
10. In what liquid do I develop the pattern on the blade.

That is literally one of the nicest Damascus patterns I've seen. Bloody hell, that is so cool and clean looking.
Agree. and its one of a kind.
I'm from Argentina and follow your channel since a year ago! Almost fall off my chair when see you was making a Mate! Love what you do! A true craftsman

This is the most beautiful knife blade, I have ever seen in my life.
@Toto Accari beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
I like it cause it looks like snake skin
Ah! Glowing metal has so much familiarity to me. I grew up with this. My grandfather was a blacksmith and we still had the forge for a coal fire. Although my father was a mechanic and did a lot of locksmith work, putting shovels on handles, putting rivets through it, welding and stuff, also sometimes he still forged something. I admire this craft and the level of competence this man has. I should have learnt this...
Its never too late

Wow you guys are very interested in forging. Greetings from 🇺🇸
This guy is truly a master of the forge. With this level of mastery, I wouldn't be surprised if he's forging lighting bolts for Zeus!
Indeed sir 🗿🍷

That's a nice pattern. One of the more appealing, sharp visual pieces I've seen from a chain. Nice work

By far this is the coolest blade that I have seen you make... it's stunning.

I always appreciate the tea break. Also, really impressive how you were able to hammer out all of the air space in that chain. Masterful work!

Dmitry, I need you to make it through this for all of us who are amazed by your life's gifts.
You never stop amazing me with the methods you use to make a true stunning bladed instrument that has such inter beauty. You are a true craftsman first class for sure. I just never get tired of watching you make magic with metal. I will someday visit you at your home forge which is on my bucket list. Hermoso trabajo!!! Excelente lo que haces como siempre. Saludos desde Argentina.
I especially appreciate not being subjected to awful muzak while I watch.
You sir, have an amazing skill and an enviable workshop..
I'm amazed!
Kudos and positivity to you
Like painting a car, the hardest part is prep work. You spend all your time setting yourself up for success and it really shows with these beautiful knives
Just found your channel and absolutely 💯% love you work!! Maken art with metals unlike I've seen before.
no gloves, no apron, simply unique !!! Love your work !
Gloves give a false sense of security, it is better to learn to keep hands away from workpiece.
Words are not enough to begin to acknowledge the skill, craftsmanship you have,
Could watch you every day 👏
The blades that you make are unbelievable!!
this is just simply making me so happy to watch: creating something beautiful out of old things that other people would just throw away. :3
I agree. Knife makers frown on it though.
I come to see the best, and I’m never disappointed here.
Likewise.
Breathtaking work and incredible workmanship. So satisfying to watch.
I love watching your work come to finish. Always nice.
I love how in the middle of all this, he throws 10 teaspoons of origanum in a pot and napalms a pot of water for tea. :D
Love your work. It has also helped me with mine. :)
I don't think there is enough discussion over how on point this dude's tea game is.
anxez it’s Yerba Mate

So how much they cost to get a Russian knife I live in West Virginia
@@columbusjustice5183 first of all, it isn't Russian, it's Ukrainian. Secondly, good handmade knife (not counts as a weapon) made from stainless steel is about $20-$30. Damascus hunter knife starts from $100. And it's without shipping...
@@columbusjustice5183 This is Ukrainian knife! 🇺🇦💪

That is absolutely beautiful. Wonderfully finished.
I love that you don't just try weird things to seem creative. Your technique, choice of pace, and use of equipment show you have a great intuition for what you are doing. Great work, sir!
Your blade geometry is immaculate.

I get the "tea break" while the blade is being tempered, but man, that is an absurd amount of leaves for one small cup
It's Yerba Mate, so singificantly less "yield" per leaf.
